The best item to purchase from the event store for DC is the Monte pedestal. Yep, that’s right, a brand new, freshly released dragon pedestal. It costs 845 Flowers and sells for 4,320,000 DC, which is merely 5x better than letting the game convert your Flowers to DC at a rate of 1,000 DC/1 Flower.
You won’t get rich with this event, but you will have lots of new, glowing dragons to keep your warm company.
Has anyone tested, with other events, whether the change sell rate of peds for dc changes after the whole event has ended? I.e. can hurry to buy but not hurry to sell, the Monte peds? Thanks 😄

If my memory still serves me correctly, I bought a whole bunch of starwing pedestals in one of the events and did not sell them until later. I think I got the same dc. Yeah, I have so many flowers that I will be buying a gazillion pedestals. I think it is my "high achiever" or "competitive" mentality that I just kept on wanting to breed.
I also loved this event! Only two things could have made it better: 10 more Claims and bringing back all the limiteds at the end so we could spend our pile of flowers on extra Enhancements!
Really liked this event! Loved the runic caves because it awarded us free dragons (even without buying rune stones) and it was fun to get successful breeds there that awarded us some hefty points. Thought the new eggs were gorgeous & the dragons stunning ....BF really really has some talented designers! Didn’t have to use my precious gems unless i wanted to ... was up to me how many runic caves i kept up with... didn’t have to sacrifice a dragon by turning it into something else ... can’t think of anything i didn’t like except perhaps lasting too long... i would like fewer events & shorter ones...
Last night had starfall lighting on while i was hunting for hidden meteors & flag bearers and the game looked absolutely gorgeous! All the amazing colors & lights! Such a fabulous & fun game!
Totally agree! I now have time to come to the forum and read all the posts in leisure, while having my coffee. And I have to confess that I am missing the quickened breeding and incubating time already. But no, I really don't want another event yet, please!! I got a house to clean and laundry to do.
I thought BFS were very generous with this event. No cap on daily flowers, multiple double days, some triple days and being able to claim five free dragons as well!
I managed to either breed or buy all the dragons plus have enough flowers to buy dragon decorations, habitats and some island themes, still with flowers to spare.
The Runic Breeding Cave and the daily elemental playlist which reduced breeding time in the main park as well as the RBC was an interesting addition to the event. The breeding times kept me guessing as to what I had bred.
I would have liked to see more golden chests offered in the daily games. With the two games available to play, if a golden chest appeared the odds weren't great to land on it. They didn't need to increase the 'goodies' in the chests, but if they had appeared a bit more often and you were successful landing on one, there was the feeling you'd had a win. If you missed it, it didn't matter as there would be another one offered in a short time.
As all the new dragons had sun/moon elements, it would have been nice to have had some new sun or moon habitats to purchase, or even the Meridiem or Celestial Habitats available to buy with flowers.
Overall though, a very enjoyable event, but would really like a break before the next event please.
This was one of my most favorite events of all time. I ended the event with all dragons, all twins, all pedestals, several rift versions, multiple themes and a few extra costumes. I was able to breed 400 different dragons in the runic caves! The dragons and eggs were great designs. I loved the daily playlist. I loved the runes and the ability to pick dragons. We actually were gifted a dragon at the end of our daily gifts! I spent real money again for runes which I haven’t done in about 1.5 years to show my appreciation.
A few minor improvements would have been: Chests to appear more often and only contain flowers, runes or costumes. Who needs cash and food during an event? Costumes to have returned at the end, it is hard to budget throughout the event when you don’t know what is coming later A few new decorations (rarely get any new ones these days except costumes) An increased limit on paradise habitats Bring back the end date in the help section of the event info for future events

The amount a pedestal sells for never changes; it’s the same price as the dragon. If you sell Monte or if you sell its pedestal, you’ll receive 4,320,000 DC.

I’ve been asking the DV community if anyone completed the dragon collection and bred all 465 dragons that are breed-able in the Vale (and the Runic Caves). So far, nobody has said they achieved this. I came close, breeding all but three: Monolith 5, Monolith 6, and Snowflake 4. While I’m very happy with my results (and the millions of Flowers it earned), I’d be even happier to see someone’s completed Egg History with all 465 unique eggs. Did anyone accomplish this? Or come close?
I agree with everyone here and elsewhere and throughout the Vale: this event was an undeniable winner. It’s extraordinary and warm to see so many positive responses. I hope Backflip is giving themselves a huge congratulatory high five. Well done!

This was a good event. Came out with one of each dragon, the pedestal, and the costume. Had enough flowers leftover to get a second Chromacorn and paradise habitat. I didn’t go crazy trying to breed nonstop in the runic caves, but did manage to claim seconds of dragons that I needed.
Now on to the Halloween event! 🎃

As long as there is one in the combo, Dazzle can be bred in the CBC. It is a parent clone dragon.
The only dragons that cannot be bred there are:
gemstones|crystallines (unless solstice event) the rift exclusives listed under dragonarium > special > rift any evolved dragon (needs two like + like parents to create another or pedestal)

Hahaha! I stopped breeding in the runic caves about a week before the end of the event. I had already claimed all of the eggs that were possible to claim (including purchased rune stone picks), and I would have been heartbroken if I got something good there and could not collect it, lol. SMH at myself lol

Yes, if it hasn’t loaded in your updates for apple, do the swipe pull down trick to manually get updates.
