PSA: some info on the fallen stars hidden in your park (and the flag bearers)
There are a total of five fallen stars: 3 Blue = 5 Flowers each 1 Purple = 10 Flowers 1 Yellow = 50 Flowers
Prismatic Pantheon setting to find the hidden stars is the same as always for event items: None + Visitors + Epic.
The pink border around the Visitors icon does not recognise the fallen stars. It will disappear after you’ve located all the element flag bearers from the playlist even if there are untapped stars hidden in your park.
The flag bearers from the elemental playlist have been reduced to 6 flag bearers for each element (dark and water today). There were 9 flag bearers for each element during triple Flower day, for double day there is 6, and tomorrow when double day is over, there will be three. The flag bearers re-spawn 12 hours after the daily reset, and they always pay 2 Flowers each regardless of triple or double days.

I bred Sun + Moon in the rift and got a Sun even with nightfall time Thats cloning, and it works
unknownlance and crumble608 are absolutely correct! I know because I bred a Sun whilst set on Starfall. At least it was Starfall when I first bred and changes back to Dusk EVERY TIME I log back in! AND the FIREFLIES show back up with EVERY LOG IN! I was wondering why logging in was taking forever each time, they better fix that.
Yes, I completely agree, players can breed/clone a Sun dragon while the Vale is set to a night theme, if Sun is one or both of the parents. However, you also run the chance of breed a Moon dragon, which is an annoyingly long breeding fail (48 hours normally and 12 hours in the Runic Caves — that’s a lot of time wasted and Flowers lost). What makes this annoyingly long fail even more annoying is it’s so easily avoidable. If the theme is set to day, there’s no chance of a Moon dragon accidentally cropping up. Hopefully BFS will fix the reverting Dusk theme, but if not, players be aware when breeding or cloning a Sun or Sun category dragon.

From the BFS FAQs page: All breeds in Runic Breeding Caves are reduced in time and can be sped up with Gems. Please note that the cost to speed up a breed will increase with each use.
I can attest to this as I sped a few up and now the Gem price has really jumped. Question is: What happens to Dragons mid-cycle being bred in the new caves when the cave timer deactivates? Does it complete the cycle and give you the dragon and you just can’t start a new breed? Or does it disappear the dragon since it did not finish in time before the deactivation in which case speedups would come in handy? Time will tell.
is there a daily reset to the increasing costs, or do they increase absolutely ? if I speed up cave one, is cave two then costier the next time or is the increasement per cave ?
From what i've seen on my game, it seems like the cost of speeding up an event cave is absolute and does not reset.
My event caves have gotten costlier independent of each other.
For those asking about the Google sheet document, the link I gave will be a 'view only' version that you can not modify. On the tab for the sheet at the bottom (or under menus from the phone/tablet version), there should be an option to 'copy to'. You want to copy to a new spreadsheet, this one will be owned by you. You can rename it, edit it, etc and changes are saved to your own version. If you're using the ios version of Google sheets, you'll need to click the little green check box after changes to save them. On the computer under a browser, changes are saved automatically as you make them.
So if you have an egg in the nursery at reset whose breeding time was lowered because it was part of the previous element play list the breeding time goes back to the original time. At least I'm pretty sure cause I had an auroch dragon in my social that had an awesome breeding time and I popped in about an hour before reset and now it's back up to almost 18 hours. I wonder if it works in reverse if you just happen to have an egg in that is part of the new play lest.
This hasn’t been my experience, but I don’t check the timers in the breeding caves or Gaia’s nest before and after the reset, so I tested it out today to be sure. I bred in the co-op just before the reset using my Light elder with SimbaMisty’s Monte. Got a breeding time of 5 hours 22 min, likely the reduced time for Hypnotic. Also purchased two Light dragons from the Market for Gaia. Since yesterday’s playlist elements included Light, its reduced incubation time was 2.5 hours (instead of 10 hours).
When I opened the game after reset, the breeding time in the co-op was on course with ~5 hours left to go. Gaia’s incubations for the Light eggs also remained correct. And the Runic Caves’ breeding times stayed steady through the reset. Just now, the co-op breeding completed, and it is a Hypnotic (a twin!). So it appears the reduced incubation and breeding times for all breeding locations in the Vale are not affected by the playlist elements changing at reset.

To confirm, I just got a free chest in dragon drop on my alt account, and first chest contained a Sailback costume. So they are in chests, just very very very rare.

I don't usually check timers either, but I noticed in my social I had auroch dragon with a nicely reduced time when metal was on the playlist so I collected it and noticed right after reset the timer was up to 18 hours in Gaia's nest. Any metal dragon should have still been on reduced time if breeding times are not effected by playlist elements changing. I don't know why that happened to me, but it didn't happen to you. Maybe it was just one of those things. Perhaps I'll give it another try and see how it goes. I was very careful not to have any reduced time eggs in my breeding locations this reset. It did not effect runic caves so I can see how it doesn't make any sense that it happened incubating in Gaia's nest but I had an auroch dragon with an 18 hour timer right after reset and that shouldn't have been possible. Hopefully it was just a one time glitch.
dragonin Try a restart of the game. I already pulled out several eggs at a reduced time for the elements today.
It is a great time for trying for Sailback. Most of the outcomes have small timers because of the elements today.
Yes, I experienced some sort of glitch. When I came back in the game later, the reduced times for the elements of the day were there. Nice to be able to hatch a twin Moon in 12 hours!
A lot going on this event but seems like a very easy one in terms of what's achievable with how easy it is to rack up event currency. Lets not jinx it lol.
One thing I do need clarification on: So you have 1 claim per Runic Cave right and on triple and double days it gives us 1 and 2 more runic caves to breed in respectively from what I understand. So by not using a claim on triple day does this mean I missed out on 1 claim if we don't get another triple day again?

These multiple claims are gonna be great for us twin collectors. I just need these 2 new ones for Blue Fire again but I'm sure there will be more new event dragons in the coming weeks.
I really love this game, especially the way it crashes every time I try to do every little thing now
You bet! I've stripped the skins off my park, moved the Weather Station closer to the start-up island (or I'd never get there to turn the fireflies off), and it STILL crashes. Don't even tell me about re-installing because I've been through tons of that and have had to change language and configuration every single time.
My flag bearers didn't respawn after 12 hours...I had a pink border last night but not today. I had a quick go around my park with the Prismatic Pantheon set to the right elements and epic visitors, but nothing. Anyone else have this happen?
Also, I never thought it was necessary to collect more than just the normal egg pedestals. I've been playing since the beginning. I am now kicking myself because I now have to re-breed these suns and moons when I've gotten twins and rifts in the past and released them. Anyone else? Otherwise, it's a nice enough event. Haha.
Pretty much figuring max of 7 claims if you get all activated with stones. For each cave you have ACTIVATED. The three free ones don’t count.
the text from BFS says "You can choose 1 egg to keep from each Runic Breeding Cave that was activated in your park." it doesn't say ... from each cave that you have activated. (ok it says that some lines above, but it also says what I cited) So given that we do not invest in rune stones and simply use the one from the tutorial: does this mean 1, 2 or 4 eggs to keep?
The now inactive runic cave on the right (the fourth from left to right) has one claim left while the cave on the whole right (that was not active) has not. I would read the rules like this: For every cave that at some time of the event was active you get exactly 1 claim (which means 10 in the highest) But maybe this is only whishful thinking

Can confirm it's 4 claims baseline, more (up to 10 maximum) if you pay up or get lucky.

When I activated them, it appeared to go clockwise starting at the one to the left of the left bonus cave.
