crusty, I’m still trying for twins with your Barbarous. I have now bred two twin-free Barbars — ugh. Obviously, I’m not nearly as good at this as Liza.

For the last couple weeks, I’ve been testing the fickleness of Tolzar’s ads at the Colosseum, Optical Oracle, and the Treasure section of the Market to identify potential fixes/workarounds. I’ll wrap up the tests and post what I found when I have a chance to type it all out.

Is it definite that the whole game will disappear December 23? I thought there was some chance that it would run on unsupported no-event beb mode for a little while?

I was under the impression (probably wishful thinking) that the game would run on forever groundhog-day style. The game would just be the exact same it had been for the past year, with events running just as they did over the last year. That way I could acquire everything I ever wanted!!
Please tell me that's what will happen!

Haha thank you, your post made me happy! The secret to getting twins must be to not wanting them! 😂 I don’t collect them because I don’t like the blue background and golden frame. But I am so grateful that you always share the new dragons, getting those twins saved me a lot of candy! And I like to get two of each dragon so you are always my first choise - thank you 😊 (imagine if we could trade dragons, I’d trade my twins for your non-twins in a heartbeat!)

I hope this is okay to ask here, but does anyone have the Fulgurite dragon blue-hearted? I'm kicking myself for not buying it when I had the chance. I checked the Dragonarium, but I can't even tell -- is it breedable in the other caves now?

So I hadn't gotten around to breeding a Rift Fulgurite dragon and have been trying with no luck the past three days using level 20 Earth Rift and Lightning Rift dragons and breeding up to 10,000 E. Seems like unusually bad luck. The Fulgurite dragon looks to be permanent in the Dragonarium, but looking at the breeding hints it says that it is Not Available. Has anyone bred one with two non-Fulgurite parents since it became unavailable through the Bizarre Bazaar? I'm starting to feel like I'm just throwing away my E trying for this dragon.

If you go to breeding hints, you'll see it's not breedable now. In the files it is flagged as not limited, it's a normal dragon with a normal breeding hint. But it has the Halloween event tied to it, and I believe that's what's hiding it. It's strange though, even on the shutdown event it still has the dragon flagged as hidden and not available under the event data. Given all the distractions occurring at Backflip, lets hope they remember to flag this guy as available before the end.

It's turned out quite relaxing for me. I've managed to get all the new dragons/eggs buying packs, while breeding for duplicates in the Coop. For want of other things to do I started working on a ghostly backlog of 8 and have now managed to whittle them down to 2. And I still have enough Candy for a couple of packs I don't have! I'm just holding off now in case of another new release.

It was about time things changed!

I have not been able to breed any event dragons besides Fulgurite. I've participated in every event since the initial Light then Dark Magic events of 2013. This is a first for me, but we still have time so I'll keep plucking along. Needless to say, my "patience" is waning and I suppose I'm whining

I agree with both oomagooma and freitag; no luck at all breeding, but lots of candy collected, plenty to buy all that I want, even probably the corrupticorn kit I missed out on (only got 3 flames) last year. I'm holding out on that though to see what the rest of the event brings, since I got the corrupticorn with a wish.

Yes, between this and the wild party event it seems like they finally got the events right, even the bingo cards are good. Yes, about time things changed... just before it all ends. I guess they've written it off as a cash cow, so it's like a "going out of business sale" this last month, they're practically giving the stuff away...

Same here. Unlucky with breeding event dragons the past 3 events. Only able to get an Eldritch after I bought one and bred with another in the Coop.

Same for me too. I'm still trying to breed Charlatan in co-op but no luck here. I'm also trying for a second Scourge so I can have both the mama and the baby, but have gotten nothing so far. No luck breeding Fulgurite either.

At least I was fortunate enough to breed Eldritch. Just hoping that isn't the only one I manage to breed during the event.

I haven’t played in quite a while, since June ‘18. My gosh, it doesn’t seem that long, but then I checked out my park and so much has happened. Can’t slow those wizards down, lol.
I see the candy bash is going on and was wondering if you all have any advice on what I should do these last few days of the event, realistically. I’m so lost here 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hey again!!!

I would collect as much as you can and buy the older cheaper dragons that you don’t have. Breed for the ones available. There is a list on the front page of the event thread.
