Thanks so much adlerist and crumble608 🌻. Finally got it! As long as my Twilight Tower (not weather station 🤦🏻♀️) is set properly, then I can breed the dragon with confidence. Well, as long as I have a few 🐨🐨🐨 near by.

A little help with which event dragons are available to breed. I saw at the beginning of this thread that Solis, Lunis and Stella are not breedable, but no mention of the other dragons in the prize pavilion. When I try the sandbox, it says that all of the dragons in the pavilion are not currently breedable (aside from sun and moon) unless you own one, which means cloning in the coop is the only option, correct? I've seen breeding hints that don't require cloning (for example Equinox = Blazing + Water) yet, as I mentioned, sandbox says Equinox is currently not breedable. I have tried breeding a few with no luck, so I'm not sure if it just requires more persistence, or if I'm wasting my time. I am only a level 56, so I know that factors in, but not sure how much. I would greatly appreciate if someone will enlighten me so I don't waste time trying to breed dragons that I either have no chance or minimal chance of breeding.

One addendum, you CAN breed Aurora (which I had before the event started 🙄). I know this because I've just gotten my 3rd 54hr timer (trying for a Midday using Sun + Dusk) 😡 Also, as a side note, Aurora does not come up as an option for Sun + Dusk using the sandbox. It also didn't come up with my other two, but don't recall what the breeding pairs were.

Hi RED During events, any returning dragon is available to be bred and the new dragons in the limited tier are breedable (unless they are evolve only)
The easiest way to check if a dragon is breedable is by checking your Dragonarium in your game. If it has a green hourglass it is a go.
Also, on the forum, the first page of every event lists the new dragons and whether or not they are breedable along with their breeding hints.

The sandbox sometimes runs a little behind with dragons that are breedable or as an outcome. In this instance, tick the Bring 'em Back box, which will give Aurora as an outcome. Bring 'em Back box is useful for when you have a timer than doesn't 'fit' with the normal sandbox results.

I appreciate the help - I saw the Encyclopaedia Dragontine, but wasn't sure if it was current so thank you for that.
My bigger question is how much does the park level (dragon level) factor in? I am capped at level 10 dragons without the Monument or Relic of the Epics. I know it's not impossible for me to breed them (definitely more difficult), but I'm wondering if waiting until I can level up my dragons passed level 10 is the better strategy? I'm all about the most efficient approach and don't care if I get them now or later. I don't mind a few extra, but if it means several wasted attempts I'd rather focus on other "easier" dragons. Make sense?

I am unsure how much impact the park level has on breeding, but dragons have slightly better breeding odds at Levels 11, 16 & 21 (elder primary).
Makes total sense trying for 'easier' dragons. My suggestion would be to try for the dragons that don't require an Epic to breed - there are plenty of them this event - and you can level up your 'ordinary' dragons to 11 - or 16 if you can. Without knowing your plans for your magic, you could possibly buy Midnight, Dusk, Dawn and/or Midday.
CLONING TIP: Darkmatter contains cold, dark, plant, lightning, so try to clone with a dragon that has at least one of those elements. And g’luck dodging Auroras and Rainbows!
No sneaky weather conditions not being shown? Also lol @ 25 Auroras.

I don't have 25 Aurora's in my park, but I have far more than than in Pedestals!

red, in addition to what minyaz said : every 100 days of constantly login, you get a wish. If you want to, you can use it for the building that is required to feed epics beyond level 10. (just don't know the name right now, but if it is of interest,I'll look it up)

Relic of the Epics and Monument of the Epics. One will let you level epic dragons to 15 and having both let you level them to 20. Does not affect the gemstone, crystalline or legendary dragons. They are located under buildings in the market for 1775 gems each or 1 wish each.
red You need the Relic of the Epics or the Monument of the Epics. With one you can level to 15 with both you can level to 20 I believe. If you go into market and then into buildings you will find them. They are statues of dragons and cost 1,775 gems each. Yes a lot of gems like crumble said you can use a wish.
Yay!! Well my second park got the darkmatter dragon today with a fire rift trait and is now in co-op........and the struggle is continuing on my main park, still cannot get the nightbloom dragon. Someone send me some koalas!! 😭

I’m confused. The Twilight Tower setting for breeding the Darkmatter dragon is Night, right? The TT has a setting for Nightfall, which is the same, I’m assuming. The Dusk theme has now over-ridden the Nightfall setting. Do I reset my park setting to Nightfall or leave it at Dusk (which is darker than Nightfall)?

There are several daytime themes that refer to night and several that will lead to day. It doesn't matter to which one you have set your twilight tower to, as long as the breeding window says night.

Wow! I never noticed that indicator in the breeding window before. Thank you, crumble608!
