And second, I would love to see both the day/night and weather show on the repeat breeding screen. Right now it just shows the two dragons, and it's not clear if the game reset the day/night theme or weather from the last time you set it up.
I was curious about that too. I think “Blossom” is the right choice.
Anyone know if the the Blossom setting in the Weather Station has any effect on getting the Tranquil in the Rift? I got mine there but I also had Weather Station set to Blosson. 🤷
Cherry Blossoms and Blossoms are the same thing. The breeding hint says Cherry Blossoms, but the Weather Station icon reads Blossoms.
You must have Blossoms/Cherry Blossoms on in your park to breed Tranquil in the Rift.

I had the same thought about the repeat breeding screen a few days ago, especially for in the rift where you can’t see the sky background. It would be incredibly helpful. Now that we have to retrain our brains to consider the weather, it would be even more helpful.

Dawn dragon help! I am fairly new to DV so #1 Hello everyone! #2 I would greatly appreciate some help. I have been trying to breed a Dawn dragon (sun and moon in the Epic Breeding Cave) during the dawn theme set by the game with no luck. I've had at least 10 failed attempts - is this normal? Just to confirm, the Dawn dragon can be breed during the event, correct? I hate to waste magic on what I thought would be an easier breed 🙄
To breed a Dawn dragon you must breed a Moon dragon with a Sun dragon between 7am and 7pm. Breeding a Dawn dragon with any other epic dragon can also result in a Dawn dragon, even if it is expired. If you do not own one, you can co-op breed one of your epic dragons with your friend's Dawn dragon to get it.
The same combo of Moon and Sun after 7pm has a chance of the Dusk dragon.
It is normal to have quite a few fails as well as long waits when trying for epic dragons. Here is a link to the Sandbox for breeding combos. It also shows percentages and # of possible outcomes. dvbox.bin.sh/#d1=moon;d2=sun;beb=1

I understand, but on the flip side, if you make the weather blossoms everyday for the next 14 days then why have that as a requirement to breed the new dragon? It's similar to needing to have a specific, hard to get, dragon in order to breed something today. It might not be available at the time in the event, or it may be too far down in the locked sections for newer players. This dragon requires a weather station, and the dragon itself is still available for purchase.
So far there’s only been Fireflies, no Blossoms, so it’s making Tranquil quite difficult to breed unless you own the Weather Station. If this is the intention, because the Weather Station is a requirement to breed Tranquil, then it wasn’t a good idea to have Blossoms part of the event theme earlier, because it gave the impression Blossoms would return every 48 hours. If this is a glitch, and Blossoms does return, then owning the Weather Station isn’t a requirement to breed Tranquil. Only having Blossoms shower your park is required, which can be achieved through the event theme.
I can also see the argument that every new dragon should be available to all new players, but in that case not just the weather station but the dragons required should be easily purchasable or bred. There were several limited dragons in recent events that I failed to even attempt to get in the rift because I never got the parent, and it wasn't available to breed at the time.
Every new event dragon is available to all players, because the Limited tier isn’t locked. The Weather Station is not easily purchasable in the event market for newer players, as I stated earlier. And newer players still have to breed or buy Serenity, so Tranquil isn’t simple to obtain. Having Blossoms on for 14 days isn’t giving new players an incredible advantage. It’s just offering them a chance to breed Tranquil for a couple extra days. As of now, there has been no opportunity to breed Tranquil for those who don’t own the Weather Station.
Quil, I appreciate your point of view, and one thing I’ve admired about you is that even though we don’t always see eye to eye, you are willing to discuss your perspective and don’t take it personally or take offence that our views differ. It’s helpful to me to see yours and other players’ positions. Occasionally, I’ll start a new park to see DV from a newer player’s outlook. The game is so different from a year ago, let alone eight years ago — it is always an eye-opening experience. But having your insight has been just as valuable because long-time players have very different viewpoints from other long-time players. So thank you for that!

adlerist thanks for looking out for us noobs & going up to bat for us! u posted for us a couple times already. i know lot of ppl here are not new which is why i like this place & go here for tips but im glad we are getting some rep . i use to play dv a long time ago & would read this site but didnt join. i stop playing when dark & light came out. a couple months ago i started again but couldnt get my park so im starting new. omg theres so much i miss it will take a while to catch up! i need blossoms so im glad u were able to get us 4 days a week thats more & better than every 48 hrs. & since i usually try to do some bingo squares on x2 days i don’t mind if it fireflies then since i wont be trying for tranquil. thank u it means a lot & thanks to everyone for all the great tip from here over the yrs!

Doubles day today - watch out for those pesky fireflies - they are back. AND my donation board wants two ghostly dragons. I can buy Bone for 6 gems, but Kringle wants 43 gems or something equally ridiculous.

Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

How does the Glittering Gardens work? I’ve only received the top prize once in this Event. Mostly, I get 30 (on single days). I always select combos which satisfy the Element requirements of the Challenge. Between my Friends and me, I’ve never submitted a combo that didn’t have all the required Elements. I do understand that there is a subtle hint in the name of the Challenge...🤷🤷🤷🤷

CLONING TIP: Darkmatter contains cold, dark, plant, lightning, so try to clone with a dragon that has at least one of those elements. And g’luck dodging Auroras and Rainbows!

Nighttime = 7pm - 7am Daytime = 7am - 7pm
The time is based on your local time.
You can set the Twilight Tower to night or day themes to breed your time-restricted dragons constantly, regardless of your local time.

Normally (twilight tower set to day) between 7 pm and 7 am is night, otherwise day. In this event Deca is provocing day and night at a change of 48 hours. You can overwrite it with the twilight tower. ( weather station for westher, twilight tower for time of day) you can see, if your time is set to day or night in the middle of the window where you choose your breeding pair
