ATTENTION: if you’re stuck in the tutorial, force close your game and restart. It should resolve the issue. Deca is working on a permanent solution, but this should get you through for now.
I think I did the force close, but it didn’t work. Just in case, does force close mean you double click? If not, please let me know how, for us not very techie people. 🙏
I ended up having to choose the wrong dragon to compete in order to progress through the tutorial. Waste of time. They should always allow you to close a window and not force choose to get through to the next step.
In other news: Dragons acquired in the Rift through Mystery Eggs can be used to fulfill a Donation Deck.

be happy i force closed the game after restart the tutorial started again but now it won't let me in the Giftery (don't know the actual name) because I already got my 25 magic no way to skip it

I can't get past the Fortuitous Forecastle. Is anyone else having this problem or am I the only unlucky one?
Me too! I got to the challenge and it won’t let me choose my friend’s dragon. And it is stuck, I can’t even back out! I think I will wait maybe an hour to give them a chance to fix things. Although it is putting my colosseum timer behind. 😣 Not a very good start.

The arrow does not work for me. I am having the same problem. Hopefully enough of us are that they will fix it soon. I sent an email but it takes them forever to respond.

Not even a week off and we‘ve got another Event. I would have liked to have had at least a week to do some maintenance on my park.
Couldn’t use the Filter in the 1st Challenge (an obvious bug) so this first Challenge will definitely NOT be max Stars. If this is an example of DECA’s QC’ing, it’s on the same level as BFS’...severely lacking...and no Dragon Drop...🤷

I also am stuck at the fortuitous forecastle because RL interrupted the tutorial. Now when it says to click there, the option is greyed out and I can’t proceed. I have force closed and restarted twice and it is still the same result. I think we are screwed because I believe it is after hours in Germany.

Here‘s another one stuck in the tutorial. Force-close, delete and re-install did not work. Apologies to my gem friends for probably missing a day of gifting 😢

Maybe those of you who can't play will be given some event currency since you're missing out right now. I remember this happened a few years ago during Whitbee's Candy Bash. There was some type of error, and when they got it fixed, I was given 100 candies (or maybe it was 500, I don't remember the exact amount) since I couldn't play for a while.

I don’t understand why in the limited section it only shows what I already have. In my main park, it shows Equinox and it’s egg and Starshine, but no egg, because I don’t have the egg. In my baby park it only shows Starshine because I have not yet gotten Equinox or it’s egg or Starshine’s egg. Does anyone have anything more in the limited section? It makes no sense to only have the things you already have in the limited section, because then you do not need to buy them.

Tried that already. I even deleted the game then downloaded it. No change.
Doesn't work I've tried everything. It is a dragonvale problem. Hopefully they are working on it. Totally locked out.

Yes, BFS used to compensate well in the early days of glitches...we got 1000 event currency two times in a past event with glitches. As time went on they barely even would admit there was a problem to totally ignoring problems. I got to a place where I wouldn’t even email, wasn’t worth the hassle.
