So I'm really confused.  glolca  crumble608 rulilind and lisgie  said y'all are missing the 5 initial event dragons (Gatren, Kwall, etc.), but I thought they could only be bought or cloned per adlerist's "Meet the dragons" info in the "Candy Bash VII" thread?  And I cannot clone unless I have bought one, right?  Seems like a horrible catch-22 so I figure I'm missing something important.  

Edit:  I think I may have unconfused myself.  I am pretty sure cloning is when I look at the sandbox and uncheck (untick) the box for "If I don't have one to breed with".  When I select Malefice and that box unchecked, I see Malefice+Malefice plus a host of others starting with Malefice+Ghostly Cold.  So that's how I can clone them, I think.  Do I have that right?

I tried to clone Gatren in the Coop with Adlerist's one until Wendigo came out. And I tried to breed a Macabre in the rift since thd event started. Since Wendigo was introduced I'm breeding in all 3 vale caves for it, continuing to breed for Macabre in the rift. Up to now no success

Time for a trip to the whine lounge. This has been an extremely unproductive event for me. I've been trying in the Co-op and in one of my other caves non-stop, but I think Wendigo is scared of me or my park.

Well I think this type of call should work very well for dragons! 😁
I use “here chick,chick, chick” all the time for the hens and it works great! Hehe.

and...there are times when the chickens do resemble dragons. 🐔, 🐲. Yep the resemblance is uncanny! 😉😆😂😂

I got a non rifted wendigo in the rift so I'm out.

I also sent a gem to lisgie for breeding the dragon on a Wednesday.

I am also a loser, although I don’t really feel like a loser. I just breed a Wendigo in the coop. It is Wednesday night about 11: 45. I guess this makes me really odd, the third competition where I was an odd.

Also, as an update, we had our cat to the vet again yesterday. His leg was probably broken by being bitten by another animal. The bite is what got infected. The infection still hasn’t cleared up, so he got another shot of antibiotic yesterday. At least he is eating again and gaining weight. He had gotten down to about 7 pounds although he is over 2 years old. He is really missing being outside, and hangs around the door hoping to sneak out. He is actually a very fitting cat for this event since he is pure black.

I got another wendigo. A rifted one this time. Not that it matters for the contest but I am glad to have gotten a rifted one.
