I think DECA ought to lower the minimum point goals. Even with powerups, stage 5s need an absurd amount of tickets to complete unless you get really lucky. The lower levels have become quite easy, though. Yay for that.

I don’t think the Halloween evolution decos sell for iceberries just the ornamental decos. No need to have any regrets.
I was thinking for Halloween next year - as in DECA changes it to event currency instead of DC. I knew that Halloween decorations wouldn’t exchange for the Christmas event currency 😉

I think DECA ought to lower the minimum point goals. Even with powerups, stage 5s need an absurd amount of tickets to complete unless you get really lucky. The lower levels have become quite easy, though. Yay for that.
I finished all even with checking in really late with event last night so not as many tickets as I usually get. The upper stages are more difficult but the first few stages are really easy now and levels open up easier than before so I didn’t have to waste tickets replaying stages. The problem I had on later stages was the high level eggs needed and it changing at the 4th or 5th level. Also so many fire eggs on the level that you needed cold was difficult. I also haven’t seen as many good eggs starting out yet. I have had some really good event dragons pop up for lots of points. I am happy they have changed the game they created to try to better please the masses. That says a lot. 😊

I think Deca did great, making the game easier so just about everyone is able to complete the first couple of tiers. Kids play also. I have a lot of free time right now, so was able to visit my vale multiple times yesterday day and this morning. That being said, I was able to complete all the tiers of all three, umm, I don’t remember what they are called lol. Last time they were camps. 😆 My main problem was loosing the required element on the third or fourth egg breed. I think it’s a lot of luck on what you start out with, kinda like bingo, hehe, but very doable. 😊

Winter Towers for December 11th
A quick reminder to start merging with the dragon eggs in the middle of the board if you can, so that you can capture any twin power ups, with the dragon eggs on the outside edges and corners.

Sleigh Race seems to be the best place to start. It is the only tower with 3 stages of the 3x3 grid, and the unlock scores are the lowest of the 3 towers.
Solstice Showdown seems to be the next easiest. The first 3 stages are very similar to Lamp Lighting, but Stage 4 is markedly easier, with 6 plant dragon eggs guaranteed, and only 3 dragons required.
Lamp Lighting should probably be left till last. Although Stage 5 would be a bit of a toss up with Solstice Showdown. There is one less dragon egg of the required type preset, but the score required is 5000 less, which is not a small difference. Even if you skip Stage 4 of Lamp Lighting, you might find Stage 5 easier to complete once it is unlocked.

He would’ve been so perfect for this event since polar bears are tundra animals. I asked Deca for the polar bear as a decoration, or better yet a NPC. And while they said he’d be back on the event island, he won’t be a deco, at least not yet. I am definitely pushing the polar bear agenda. He shall not be forgotten.

Aww, that’s too bad. I looked at DV Wiki and there was no increase beyond 3 Ornamental habitats. Well, I’ll buy 4 and reach the max. 🎄

Yeah, I got all 7 last year too. I didn’t realise I was looking at my secondary account, which only has 3. I tried to corrected the error yesterday by deleting the post. You’re the fourth person to point this out.

I set my Pantheon to None/Visitors/Epic and had a greyed-out present. Also had some that weren't greyed out, so something weird's going on. If I find another I'll try and remember to grab a pic.
Also slapforehead at eggy hatchy.
I found the rogue gift!
For the purple present, the Prismatic Pantheon setting requires Air.
Without Air, the present is in black and white, as highlighted by the Shadow dragon’s flame.
With Air the present shines like Christmas.
Purple present: None + Visitors + Air + Epic
All other presents and Sandakloz: None + Visitors + Epic

No, I mean the other stages are easy, level 5 has just gotten harder since you need your luck more. Getting the points alone isn't hard, but getting the right elements rolled is out of your hand and you can't sacrifice many eggs. I still got them done, but spent way more tickets on that stage than in the last event, crashes included.

I had to laugh when I saw the Lyuba dragon. I was immediately reminded of the Russian for “love”, which is, according to my Russian daughter from Turkmenistan, “lyubov””. So, we have a “love” dragon, which looks like a mammoth from Siberia (Seebear). This all makes me laugh & I love it! I hope we get an Aurora Borealis” theme!

I didn't manage to finish all yesterday's towers, and the Level 5 ones were hard - I couldn't get the elements to 'stick' to finish the stage.
The earlier tiers being easier will encourage more people to give it a try and it is more fun rather than challenging. Level 4 and 5 require more thought and strategy, but if you don't want to do it or don't have the time, you can blast through the other levels quickly and get a reasonable amount of currency.
All the wandering Xmas folks are hilariously charming. They more than make up for the missing trick-or-treaters from the last event.
The Yeti strutting about the Vale and the Triple Penguin Pile-Up are my two favourites. I don’t want them to ever leave.
I love the new visitors - sooo cute. Yes, Deca is forgiven for not having the witches and wizards in their Halloween costumes.
Could Deca have the Yeti and Penguins attached to the winter theme in the Twilight Tower? My park would always be winter with the Yeti and Penguins strutting around. If they could add the Polar Bear as well, it would be perfect.
