Given the difficulty many members had breeding new limited dragons during the last event, because they did not have the breeding parent(s) in regular or traited form, I hope you’ll find this information extremely helpful.
Players will probably want to have the following dragons in the Vale and/or Rift, or purchase them from the event market (these dragons are spoiler tagged for those who do not want this information):

I'm glad everyone is having success cloning the event dragons. I haven't been so lucky. Forty two tries and 800 gems in, using fog and various friends' longcicle dragons, nothing but some temporary excitement every so often when I see a 16 hour timer that turns out to be derecho. I need to slow down and stop speed breeding everything. Good things come to those who wait. At the very least I will save some gems. And that's a good thing.
I very seldom get a dragon with the one suggested I move down the list. The three from this event I got were by using dragons that were 7.down Blizzard for Longcicle, 14 down River for Lyuba and 14 down Glacier for Neyvee🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🍀🍀🍀

Tree Decorating is a slightly better choice, as it has slightly lower point requirements to unlock the upper stages. Candle Lighting would be next. And finally Hearth Warming, which has 3 stages with a dragon goal.

I haven't managed to clone any of the event dragons either, so you are not on your own cynmed I am using elder dragons, which are supposed to give a better breeding rate, but probably so small it doesn't really make a big difference. I'm sure our time will come and we are patiently waiting.
I managed to clear all three Eggy Hatchy towers yesterday! I'm enjoying the lower levels only needing points as generally, they are easier and quicker to finish.
Some of the Level 4 tiers have been hard though. If I have Level 5 open, I try that tier and leave Level 4 till last. It can be easier and it gives more points.

That is correct. I would use that combo too. You can use it at anytime even if Sleighbell isn’t available since you’re basically just cloning it.
This was reported to Deca on Saturday, and they got back to us this morning.
BUG REPORT AND UPDATES FOR TUNDRAL RUMBLE
Deca has been notified of the following issues:
• When a house ornamental dragon (Harmony, Reminiscence, Spellmason, Venture, Yule) is a parent, Ornamental and Dazzling are possible outcomes. This is a glitch from last year that has never been addressed.
UPDATE: Deca asked for more info. They’ll look into it further.
• Prismatic Pantheon setting for the purple present requires Air for the present to show in colour.
UPDATE: FIXED! The correction will show in 24-48 hours after the next data deploy.
• Aquacorn pays out less than a rare dragon. During the last event, Quil mentioned Aquacorn is bugged and its breeding value is similar to a regular hybrid — this clicked in my head to Eggy and Aquacorn’s low payout.
UPDATE: Deca will look into this further. Last week, I suggested they update Aquacorn’s breeding percentage to a rare dragon. It would resolve two bugs: Eggy and Aquacorn’s incorrect percentage.
• Lyuba is missing the air element from its info card and cannot reside in an air habitat.
UPDATE: FIXED! The correction will show in 24-48 hours after the next data deploy.
• Neyvee is missing plant and fire its info card and cannot reside in those habitats.

It hasn’t even been a week in to the event and you’re already 800G down!! 😳
Don’t worry, the dragons will come....well eventually......on their own sweet time. 🙄

Thank you so much! I'd have futilely bred for Jingle instead and likely not have gotten any epic again. I only have one of these in the rift and almost no duplicates.
PSA: DragonVale version 4.21.0 is now available for iOS.
This update includes fixes for Eggy Hatchy and the Twilight Tower and Weather Station settings.
Android update is not available yet.

I am cautiously optimistic that the koalas in my park are recovering from near-extinction. I have managed to clone a Lyuba in each park, now to check how endangered they are in the rift, I only have two of the ones on the "recommended" list in the rift (thank you for that list!!) hopefully I can get others before needed (I have been trying unsuccessfully for Holly from the get-go, so I am afraid my rift koala populations are in sharp decline).
