I had left two gems to distribute later in the day, but when I've gone back to my park, they are no longer there. My dragonsai tree shows that there are still two gems to gift.
Are you still staying within the 21 gems on a single device?

EDIT: One workaround for the device limit is to install DV on another device, open your park, and all the remaining gems will be in your Gifts ready to send.

It cannot be closed and you get no reward. After it finishes playing there's a screen with blocks to drag around which only disappears if you force close dragonvale.
I tried all the normal tricks when an X doesn't appear at first. No chance, broken.
This ad has already been reported. It’s on the Reported Problematic Ads list. I’ll note that the ad won’t close. Thank you!

Thanks amos. That is exactly my problem - 12+12 is more than 21! Have never had to consider a gem cap before.

I haven’t noticed this in my game so far but dang DECA has got to get a hold of this ad issue. It’s been what 6-8 months now? Aren’t they losing ad revenue? Even if they’re not, they’re gonna start losing players.
Ad doesn’t load or play as it should then you get the Tolzar oops and screen is stretched have to soft close and when you reopen you loose pine cones. This ad has come up in Colosseum and does the same then all gems are lost. Doesn’t take time off eggs when speeding up.
Had this ad with Tolzar, Colosseum and speeding eggs up in total had ad 7 times this morning.👎

You’re exactly right, this was the ad! I received it again today and it opened the App Store (then ended in stretchy screen and didn’t payout).

A new problem ad: Covet Fashion Model Makeover No way to exit, it takes you to the AppStore, the redirect to Dragonvale restarts the game.
On iPad 6th gen.
Most times I don’t report the missing gems and event tokens, thinking it’s my poor internet connection or my too small iPad. But I’m tired of constantly losing sponsors’ gems or colluseum bonus. Especially after completing a 60 second ad. Now with the game restarting you have no second chance.

It has been a while since I have said anything just holding my tongue but: This event can’t be over soon enough. Have lost gems and currency because of ads that don’t work, the gem tree and counter for the extra gems don’t match such as now tree shows have two to give and counter says one, when game crashes and I reboot it opens one frame back so if I just took anything out with gems I have lost them and have to redo using more gems. Have been in constant contact with DECA. Now today the gem tree and counter is messed up in my second park, so now they are wrong in both parks. Yes they have been told the problem were in dragonglow and given park name. To friends in both parks sorry if you haven’t gotten extra gems often but as you can see I have no control of this. Also ask about one dragon being easy to breed and making another so hard to breed with long fails that players lose interest. Why not go middle of road which hardness of breeding. The way I understand the game it was breed dragons and have fun not breed dragons and be stressed.🤷♀️

dragonglow in reference to your gem tree and gem gifting - are you trying to gift more than 21 gems from one device? I fell into that trap and thought the game was short-changing me as the dragonsai tree was still showing gems to gift but they weren't showing in the social menu. I only use one device but play two parks - at reset, before gifting any gems, both parks show that they have 12ea to gift, but in practice there is only a total of 21 gems that I can gift, so I end up with the dragonsai tree still with gems showing. Every day I have three gems that I would love to be able to gift to my friends who have been so generous with sending gifts to me.
Had the same ad with two parks for the Colosseum today with two different glitchy results.
First park after the ad played it went to the App Store, but on soft closing it went back to the park and gave the extra two gems.
Second park also ended up in the App Store. On soft closing it went back to the park which had the box asking if I wanted to watch a vision for the extra gems. Clicking on the button gave the Oops message. So no extra gems.
The ad was State of Survival Walking Dead This one
adlerist State of Survival is on the problematic ads list, but this appears to be a different game? There seems to be State of Survival and also State of Survival The Zombie Apocalypse.
Okay, new problematic ad. I cannot close out of it- the "x" appears but just takes me to the app store. It was for a Covet app. On the old iPhone SE model.
