I'm now trying to get a third Monolith 3 and 4, and a second Stoneshell and wondering if it would be better to buy those instead.
I'm also trying to decide if I just buy the dragons I haven't gotten yet (Cocoahollow, Cumberpatch, Swiftgrace, Wolper and Peoni) or keep trying in the hopes of saving those eggs so I can spend them on evolve dragon pedestals, the Vernal theme, and the new Harmonious habitat. Back to the spreadsheet I go!
ETA: Sandbox is showing Stoneshell + Tidal has the best chance for cloning Stoneshell. Tidal isn't a parent for Stoneshell, anyone know why this is happening or is this a bug?

Seriously though, I've had no issue getting excessive accidental swiftgraces this event. Cumberpatch was reasonable, stoneshell took forever to breed. Definitely grab that swiftgrace.

If you have a friend who can put a Stoneshell in co-op, it would be quicker to get another one there with two parents the same than trying to breed him using the breeding combo. Breeding the Monolith dragons can be a bit hit and miss. They don't parent clone like other dragons. You can breed 3+4 together and have the same chance to get any of the Monos. And there is no advantage to breeding two Mono 3 dragons to try and get another one. (That is my understanding of Mono breeding anyway - I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong)
I would keep trying for Wolper and Peoni in co-op - although their cloning chances aren't high there is still time to try for them and if you manage to breed one of them, you have saved many eggs. If trying to breed the others I would start with Cocoahollow, then Swiftgrace and lastly Cumberpatch. I've been trying to breed a rifted Cumberpatch and he seems to be impossible. Of course RNG may smile on you and you breed him first try.
The Tidal option in the sandbox is a known bug. Anytime Tidal is in the first pairing, check the number of offspring. It is usually a much higher number than using any other combination.

If you’re trying to collect all the evolve Monolith dragons and Minchi, may I suggest using this strategy. This is the method forum members, including myself, used in previous events with evolve dragons. And it looks like NinjaKiwi is currently making great progress with it.
The free mini-games don’t offer golden chests frequently enough to complete a set of evolve decorations, so buying extra mini-games is necessary.
Can confirm! I’m at 29/40 and will probably switch to buying chests now. I do have gems to spare though
These are my results from buying the extra plays of Name That Egg for the Golden Chests.......
Played 75 times @ 5 gems each = 375 gems spent.
I collected a total of 74 Evolution items, giving me 34 out of the 40 items needed, completing the Ivy Leaf set and leaving me needing two each of the other three sets.
Dragon cash collected 23,212,500
Treats collected 2,572,750
Magic Eggs collected 1852, plus the sale of the duplicate items, 40 @ 50 Eggs each = 2000 eggs, making 3852 total Eggs gained.
I’m thinking that this is pretty good, considering I had zero items to begin with. Having a small hoard of extra gems helped too😆
Now, I’ll only need 9000 Eggs for 6 Chests in the prize Pavilion and I’m all set. Just need to make sure I have the Dragon Parents need for the evolving lol.
oh, also, Golden Chest #73 gave me a Twin Procyon. ✨

Nah. People have been trying much longer than me and I pretty much put it on the backburner in favour of snowflake the last months. Monoliths are cheap every easter.
What brings me massive despair is that eldritch is still not cloned. It's the only cursed dragon I want from the RBC.
I have Pixie and Glyph too, but only one Pixie so no easy free pedestals. Minchi is ugly enough that I can't care for it, but I'm hoping for the last Hedera leaf.

The Vernal theme is in the Limited section of the Burcadian Bazaar, but it will stay until the event concludes.
I love the new Vernal theme! adlerist you may need to give directions if we are coming to view it in your park. Do we turn left or right at the hickory stump? And how many gates do we need to pass? :P
In case you’re still lost in my park, it’s the 30th island, the newest one. Head south, then take a sharp left past the rock that looks like a rubber duck. If you see the homemade mailbox built with popsicle sticks, you’ve gone too far. It’s right next to the tree with branches. You can’t miss it.
