Sigh. I actually worked on my spreadsheet today and found that I still need 123 twins. I thought it was less. Well I guess it was a good thing that I spent RL$ before I looked at my spreadsheet. It was the first time I spent rl$ on this game.
If you’re into purchasing mystery eggs, I highly recommend buying those before making your RBC selections. Since you need 123 twins, your chances are fairly decent of obtaining one from the Egg of Mystery.
Also, the last gift in the Colorful Benefactory has a silhouette of eggs — so you might be able to select a spring dragon — that’s been the final prize for the last several events. I believe there are six days between the last advent day of the Benefactory and when the event islands disappear. The dragon you want may not be listed, but it couldn’t hurt to wait before making your RBC claims.
And lastly, but not leastly, I would like to thank you for making an in-app purchase and buying Runestones! The best chance we have of seeing the RBCs again, and the frequency they’ll be included in an event, will likely depend on several factors, including player feedback and how much revenue they generate.

I don’t understand why the runic caves cannot be reactivated multiple times with multiple dragon claims. Wouldn’t DECA make a lot more money that way? I only spend money in the game during events with. runic caves so I can catch up with the rifted and/or twin dragons. I would probably spend more if I could collect multiple dragons from each cave.

Huh. Good point. I'd argue it's an overpowered way to get twins, but these are only really sought by collectors anyway. Some incentive right here to fix these glitched nightmares.

Got a Fushi in the Rift w/Lvl 12 Flowerhop & Lvl 11 Pollen. I got it at 250 Rift$ on my 2nd day of trying. Took it all the way up to 15,000 Rift$ on the first day with no luck. I’m sending it over to my Park and will 💙 it in 2 hours.

Can you get twins from the Runic caves?
You can’t breed twins but you can claim them if you already have the normal in your park

Not an event dragon, but Motley will no longer be available after the next reset. At the risk of jinxing myself, has anyone actually bred a Motley during this release? I had to check in the Dragonarium to make sure it was actually available. I haven't bred a single one.
And I see that Motley lives in the Vernal category in the Dragonarium, while Dargon is in the Celebration category. I would have thought they would be put together.

Yes, I have bred three, not on purpose. One in RBC, one in rift, and one in EBC during the last limited.

Got zero Motley in all of my breeding caves. I have to grind plant dragons in the Runic Breeding Cave to register a Motley in my Egg History.
I got only three Dargon including that annoying one that spawned in my Co-op Cave just on the day before it leaves at reset. (Four if counting the twin someone sent me.)
Update: Never mind. This morning, another (probably two) Motley just sneaked in my RBC breeding attempts (10 million attempts total) for I think, Violetta? And another straight before it expires in the Rift. (Where's my rifted Dittoglide? Please! I'm whining you!)

Two in the RBC and at least one during normal breeding (only remembered because it’s in the hatchery now, if I’ve had others earlier then I’ve wiped them from my mind)

None here either. But I’ve been having so many long fails, I don’t think motley’s had a chance to sneak in. 😜

Can you get twins from the Runic caves?
You can see what version you will be offered for each dragon in your egg history by going to a cave that you have a claim left and clicking on the claim button up to the left. You can scroll through the list and then exit out and your claim is still available later. It is also a handy way to see what monolith or snowflake dragons you have bred since it shows the pictures rather than the eggs. I also use the exit button to change a rift trait on a rifted dragon if I want a different one than is offered.

Thank you MinyaZ & amos! 🥰 Appreciate the responses & tips! May try that runic cave route & continue w/the rift attempts for ovalith when i am able. Was fortunate to get the Fushi in the rift (woodvine & flowerhop) and epic breeding cave fairly quickly so i should have some time this week in the rift before we get the next limited event dragon.

Seriously, I'll never forget the week someone gifted my mom a plant that would die if so much as spun around.
I told her to stop touching it since it was suspicious as can be with dropping its flowers all over the floor. She didn't believe me until we actually googled it. Said plant would also have died when facing minor, minor temperature changes, so it was doomed from the start, but... effing hell.
