This was a great event to come back to! I got pretty much everything I wanted and now am left with 12k eggs trying to decide which of the Chrysalis dragons and/or eggs I want to invest in. Is the Sekret egg missing from the Burcadian market for y’all as well?

I'm having the most amazing time! For several years, since my iPad became obsolete, I've been playing Dragonvale on my iPhone. Today I received a package from my daughter and son in law with. Note saying “Because we love you and so you can see your dragons as they should be seen” . And they have given me a wonderful iPad Pro that flies like the wind and shows me new dragons I've never really seen before. Could hardly believe the pair of Trilobites that swooped at me in terrifying fashion.
Now I'm off to find and become acquainted with all the newcomers from this event. I don't think I have time to go to bed tonight.

I didn't sleep with it under my pillow, but I did spend far too much time meeting dragons I never had seen up close before. Now working out which are my new favourites!

Also why is Tulip not in the Tulip section? I just find it odd and would have made sure it was in that category.

6 hours left, and I have a noob question: Do Harmonious, Chrysalis and Monolith habitats count towards the habitat total? I want to buy as many Ovalith dragons as possible and don’t want to waste eggs in habitats if they count toward my total.

Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

By far and away, this has been my most successful event! I was able to breed ALL of the event dragons, managing a twin Snooz in addition, as well as an Ovalith in the RBC! I was able to earn and save 120544 eggs, which I am so happy about considering I’ve started a new job and work a lot of hours. I maxed-out the purchases of habitats meaning I could spend the remainder of my eggs on Ovalith dragons! With the RBC, the left over eggs and a happy spend $18 AUS to get another few eggs, I was able to get a whopping 23 Ovalith dragons, and a twin rift pedestal! This event was seriously my favourite since I started playing. The only thing that could have been better would have been a twin weekend but hey, I am not complaining one bit! I loved it, I am so stoked! I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did <3

I managed the limiteds too + a snooze. I think the only major fail was not cloning that stoneshell in the RBC, but with the extra currency at the end, that wasn't even a problem. I really hope DECA sticks with the higher breeding/cloning chances.

It seems like yesterday when Backflip added the in-game friending system, which encouraged me to join the forum, meet new friends, and attempt to breed twins. At the time, I had been playing DragonVale since its inception in 2011, but only had a handful of twins, one active Game Center friend, and no way to communicate with her. Blue fire wasn’t even a possibility to consider.
But through this remarkable place, I was able to befriend extraordinary DV players with wondrous twin powers, who are much better at this than I am. Two years and hundreds of twins later, it has been the greatest pleasure to take this journey will all of you.
Even though blue fire will be gone in a couple hours with the start of a new event 😄, that’s perfectly fine too. It’s the thrill of the quest that matters, and it was wild and fun and blue while it lasted.
Endless cheers, countless hurrahs, ongoing parades, mountains of confetti, and all the thanks in the world to every forum member and my DV forever friends. You are my absolute joy! 💙

Thank you! As I said, it’s not that big of a deal to me if I miss a twin. I’m not going to stress out about it, because then the game is no longer fun and becomes upsetting. I don’t want to be under the blue fire thumb and feel pressured to maintain it. It’s just a game. It’s not like I can use blue fire for collateral or put it on my résumé.
I really just wanted to thank all the fabulous forum folks for helping me with blue fire. That’s all that matters. 💙

All the eggs from the Eggciting Egg Hunt have been found and Easter has hopped out of the Vale once again. But before we store away our pastel baskets, here’s a look back at some of the event’s dragons and their floral inspirations.
PEONI, the bobbing, sinking imp with an enormous peony floaty on her back.
KROKI, the lovely, lizardy vine crawler with a crocus tail.
FUSHI, the finicky flower with a fuchsia flower skirt in fuchsia.
Deca Games did an absolutely smashing job of capturing spring!

You are applying for the wrong kind of jobs if you can't include attaining Blue Fire on your résumé.

They must’ve used this picture of the peony to draw Peoni. The flower is exactly the same! The dragons were very beautiful for this event. Great job DECA!
Please tell DECA this has been the best event! The runic caves really made it perfect. I was able to make progress in my dragonarium and was able to get new dragons too. I’ve been wanting the runics for so long and I know you and others asked for them too, it’s so wonderful they are listening to the players. I really hope the runics will be back soon. Once a year is way too long and everyone loves them! Congrats on the best event DECA!
