Rifted Muse or rifted darkmatter, which is harder to breed when at least having the parents?
I've been trying to breed a rifted Darkmatter on and off since the beginning of the event with no luck. I have had some good fails - Darcowl, Riptide and Dash which I didn't previously have in the rift. According to the sandbox there are 206 possible outcomes for Darkmatter using Aurora and Nightbloom but only 67 for Muse with Daydream and Hydra.
I will probably select a twin Darkmatter for the daily reward egg so that when the Runic Breeding Caves come round again, I can hopefully get a rift version.

IMPORTANT: please be aware, you only have FOUR DAYS to clear the Tower of Amazement and win the Popcorn Stand, because the event island and Eggy Hatchy will depart at 11.00am MDT on Monday, 14 June (last day to earn Magic).
I know the shortened timeframe to acquire the much anticipated decoration will be upsetting and frustrating for players. The Game Reps have already brought up the issue with Deca yesterday. Hopefully, the Popcorn Stand will be released again soon.
TIP: since there isn’t much time to clear the Tower, if you really want to obtain the Popcorn Stand, but can’t login frequently or you’re unsure of your Eggy skills, consider skipping the easy towers and use your tickets on the weekly tower.
FUN FACT: the Popcorn Stand is the 500th decoration in DragonVale.

Some tips on how I cleared the tower so quickly: 1. I always bank an extra ticket the night before a new tower, going to the ticket purchase page and watching the ad for a total of 6 tickets. When the event starts, I watch another to have 7 free attempts at reset time.
2. Some of the levels are tougher than others. Use your 'redo' attempts on those harder levels, ones where you need 4 different eggs banked plus lots of points and when the board isn't packed with the type of egg you need. I redo the breeds that don't get me the correct element, I don't usually redo if it's not enough points.
3. I always focus on the eggs that need banking first, and not the points. If I get an egg of very high value, I'll stop and try other breeds first and go back to either bank that high value egg later, if successful, or continue breeding with it to make the requirements. Points are usually easier to get then meeting the egg requirements, especially with aurora dragons in the mix.
4. Never start using an egg type that's required, wait until the last step if possible. For example, if you need 4 level 3 Air dragons, breed non air dragons together first and then try to turn it into an air on the final breed. Nothing is worse in this game mode than getting all but 1 dragon egg you need, and not having any more of that element left on the board.
5. Don't get discouraged. Sometimes it's just not in the cards to complete a board your current attempt. Just go for as many points as you can once you realize you can't win - that will open up higher levels.
6. If you're having trouble with a level, just skip it and go to the next. Complete it last, you won't feel so overwhelmed when you miss a tough level and still have so many more to complete.

I've been watching it for ages, but can't quite make out the story behind it. Suddenly a second one appears and then purple boxes on the ground into which they disappear briefly. Then more boxes and the second dragon reappears. Is it a reflection? What exactly are the boxes? Is the Prestige dragon a magician? Please reveal these mysteries?
Now I must have a careful look at other dragons and see what animations I could have missed.

First I thought that the Prestige dragon was a diviner, but now I think it's a magician. He jumps into one box and comes out of the other one. And he makes an illusion of itself. Very good animation!
I also like FueFuego jumping through the ring of fire and Brizoni balancing his stone.
From the old dragon there are some with good animations too Have you ever seen Verglace scating and falling on his back Did you notice that Glacier is showing its glacier tongue One of my favorites is the Mud dragon, hunting flies with its tongue Trick is playing its trick ... There are many, many more super animations

I think it stinks that they put the Popcorn Stand as the last Eggy Hatchy prize with only 4 days to get it. What about all the players that didn’t bank tickets before reset because they didn’t know the Popcorn Stand was going to be the last prize? Or the people who can’t play 4 times a day? Or the people who were looking forward to getting the Popcorn Stand and won’t get it?
They should’ve made the Popcorn Stand available earlier in the event so we’d at least have 7 days to win it. I know they want us to buy tickets but I feel like it’s a waste of money and it’ll be even more annoying if I spend money and still don’t get the prize. I don’t mind making purchases and want to support the game. I bought runic stones for the last event. I just need to know if I spend money it will be worth it.

I know it can feel frustrating to only have 4 days t get the popcorn stand. My recommendation is to ignore the other two towers until you complete the large tower. You'll lose income from the lower two easy towers, but consider that a cost of buying a popcorn stand.
Even without banking tickets or doing anything of that sort, you gain 5 ticks every 2.5 hours. There are 10 levels, I was lucky and completed it in around 11 or 12 attempts. With some bad luck, I could see that doubling. Obviously if things go terrible, it could be much more. For those that can't play more than once a day, you'll need a bit of koala. If you do want the decoration and get the opportunities, you may want to login for 5 minutes 2 or 3 times a day just to run the tower and ignore the rest of the game to ensure you get it. I often find myself waiting for my teenage daughter to finish getting 'ready' for something and may as well run a tower level or two while waiting those few minutes.

I just googled The Prestige. It was released in 2006. Wow, a while ago. What a weird late reference for Deca. Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale star in it. And as I’m reading about it, I now remember seeing this movie on tv years ago, but I only watched part of it. Little did I know then that I’d need this movie as a reference for a mobile game about dragons.

Finished the tower and received the popcorn stand. I kind of thought it would be a general award for completing the event, like the box of candy, and not tied to eggy. Koalas to all still trying

For those with plenty of leftover magic, instead of buying pedestals to sell for cash, another option is to buy the spellform energy chest. The spellforms can be sold for magic in future events. So think of it as a long-term investment even if for a year in advance. The same applies to evolution items as well!

Same here, I finished all three towers in my main and secondary parks yesterday. The Popcorn Stand really motivated me to play Eggy until I was done, just so I wouldn’t have to worry about it anymore.
The only good thing about it not being like the Box of Chocolates is the idea of having a Popcorn Stand floating in the sky. That would’ve been even more jarring than sky chocolates 😬
But yes, it definitely would be better if the prize wasn’t connected to Eggy with a shorter timeframe. I can see how obtaining popcorn will be challenging for players who can’t login frequently. Sending lots of koalas to all Eggy players — may you receive (over) easy eggs on the boards!

The movie was just on Amazon prime (rolled off the end of April) and I watched it there, really good movie. You really have to watch until the very end, like the last two minutes end, it really does have quite the plot twist. It is a really good movie and the prestige dragon animations are spot on after you watch the movie.
On an unrelated note, I got my popcorn stand this morning and answered a few questions I had. It takes a bigger than 1 square spot. It is 2x2, just the right size and not like the ugly big chocolate box. The description is a little different than the one on the event island. It does not give the option to buy more. It does not disappear from the event island when you claim it (like old event prizes used to). Makes me wonder if you get another for event participation and you get a total of two if you get the eggy hatchy one? I wouldn’t chance it. I also thought the tower requirements were a little easier than some of the other decoration towers.
Yeah I finished the big tower and the popcorn stand is in the park, kind of happy lol and if I can do it you can do it too, my dragons science is zero so I relay on luck when matching eggs.

Ah, thanks for that! Amazon Prime explains the reference to a 15-year-old movie. It all makes sense now — Deca folks are streaming.
There will not be a Popcorn Stand awarded at the conclusion of the Spectacle. Deca has confirmed the decoration is Eggy-only for this event. However, after the event it’ll likely return so players can purchase it then. I don’t know if its limit will be lifted so we can purchase extras, but I can ask if they’ll consider doing this.
