Apologies if it's already been posted, but do the habitats available for magic in the prize tent count against your park's limit?
The Dark Reward habitats do not count against your habitat total. All the others do.
There’s a link in the ED for a list of the habitats that do not add to your park total. But I know the info is difficult to find, so we’ll try to clean that up soon.
On the meantime, if you’re ever in doubt, click on the in-game info card for a habitat. It usually states at the bottom of the description, 'This habitat doesn’t count towards your park’s habitat cap'.

I just bought a sun and it counted. The reward dark don’t count and I believe at the end of the little blurb with the reward habitats it says they don’t count. I have claimed all mine so can’t check but it should say if it doesn’t count at the end of blurb. Hope that helps.
Thanks for reposting this!! I also missed it. Even used the search box at the top. I too have finally started using food for the dragons in the rift. They eat alot lol.

What I plan to do is sell some of my existing rainbow habitats in exchange for the giant ones with event currency, although I still have not maxed out my habitat count yet. My "problem" is that I don't like my islands too crowded and hence cannot fit in all the habitats anyways.
All in all, I have quite enjoyed the last couple of events. Thank you to DECA for the improvements which made it so much more interesting:
- increased breeding odds. I was able to breed all but one of the dragons, although not every traited version.
- no max limit on the collection of event currency (although there is a limit on gathering from habitats, which makes sense to me)
- new dragons with adorable animations
- new decorations
- more mini games to gain event currency (eggy hatchy and the runic caves)
- improved eggy hatchy format, which I like. I think the different levels cater to different players, or even the same player but on different days. On days when I lack brain power or too busy to play more often, I would just do the easier level.
And of course thank you to our team of admins and mods for sharing all the tips, advice, dragons, etc...Have I missed anything??
I do have one request to DECA though: can the events be shorter, please... 40+ days is a bit long. I was losing interest in the last week, had it not been for the popcorn stand incentive. It would be nice if the events can be no more than a month.
Grabbed two giant rainbows, 53 chests (accidentally. Two too many, hah.), Davinese, 60 earthern altar. 10 & 6 hot air balloons/ fairy wells. No idea where to go from there.
2 ring of fire and 2 balloons sets later and still got some.
I'll probably ruin the layout of that one island and upgrade its two dark reward habitats to giant. It should probably be turned from a spooky/christmas mix to full Christmas, but it's just so much work.
At least I could breed every dragon I wanted this event, except rifted riptide & sparkles. Trying for those 8 (total...) stellas ate up too much time.
Today, I managed to clone every spellform into two+ total, except outridder. Got that one from an egg of mystery. Now if only those darcowls would stop having rifted clones.

This has been a very enjoyable event with good breeding odds on the new dragons. It is very satisfying to be able to breed some of the new dragons and not have to buy them all. And the dragons have been amazing. Deca have outdone themselves with the designs and animations of the new dragons. The eggs have also had outstanding designs.
Any leftover magic will be spent on duplicate dragons - both event dragons and some of the older dragons that I would like duplicates of in case they are used in future events as a breeding combo.
The last couple of events have been very long and it would be nice to have shorter events.
Thank you to the everyone who rated the new dragons. I have enjoyed reading the comments and it has made me look at the dragons from a different perspective.

But I checked my dragonarium and found out that I was missing the regular form of three, having only the twin format! Same for the eggs. So shopping done plus various items for my leisure park. The new decorations are nice but take a lot of space. So now I still have around 20000 to spend…

Yes, the events have been way too long. After awhile it becomes a chore to keep doing the same thing, over and over, especially since there haven't been breaks between events. I'm afraid they are going to burn players out if they keep this pace up. Also, continuing to release so many new dragons will eventually render players' devices unable to support the game. I don't wish to sound so negative, but as a player since the game was released I just felt like I had to speak my mind.

I would like to add that unless more islands are released soon, I will have no room to put anything. I can not fit in another habitat and with the amount of new dragons released each event ,where are we supposed to put them. I like to decorate as well as have dragons on display but it’s getting harder with each event.

Man, we spend so much time in events with "Find all these NPCs for currency" bits that the game looks weird now with colors re-enabled.
I swear I would have do the same on these elder Flag Bearers after an event.
