I know.. now I can see all the dragons with their animation, in color. I just realized that the Dargon turns into a little bush/flower. 🤣 I was so busy putting it away that I didn’t even look at it until now when I need to breed its pedestal.

I always turn the colour back on after looking for NPCs in black-and-white. For some reason it feels irresponsible to me if I leave the Vale without turning the colour back on 😊. I much prefer viewing the Vale in its full spectrum.

I always turn the colour back on after looking for NPCs in black-and-white. For some reason it feels irresponsible to me if I leave the Vale without turning the colour back on 😊. I much prefer viewing the Vale in its full spectrum.
I start feeling kinda bad unless it's a double double day. It just looks wrong colourless.

Apologies if it's already been posted, but do the habitats available for magic in the prize tent count against your park's limit?
The Dark Reward habitats do not count against your habitat total. All the others do.
There’s a link in the ED for a list of the habitats that do not add to your park total. But I know the info is difficult to find, so we’ll try to clean that up soon.
On the meantime, if you’re ever in doubt, click on the in-game info card for a habitat. It usually states at the bottom of the description, 'This habitat doesn’t count towards your park’s habitat cap'.

Pretty good event for me. Managed to clone or breed all the new dragons except Lageto (might have a couple more chances before the new event kicks off) as well as some old ones. I'll be able to buy a lot of the old ones I've missed out on in the past, with maybe just 1 or 2 I still need to pick up this time next year.

On my front screen of my iPad the Dragonvale icon has changed the fire dragon now has hat (wizard) is holding a blue gem (looks like a gem) and I believe he now has a eye glass. The icon showed up when I did update.

If you go into market then treasure on the bottom there is a spot with the same gem 💎 and shows 0 (dc then gems then this spot) I believe it will be in the new event that is coming. May be the currency for the new event. We’ll know in time. The gem looks blue in the treasure part of the market.🤷♀️ On page 2668 of Dragonvale Tips, Strategies, updates and Help adlerist has a enlarged picture of the icon. The gem is blue. Someone put up that the name of the new coming event is Pirates in Paradise.

Edit: Also to answer your previous question, the icon was a change with the new update. If you didn’t update the DV app, your device automatically updated it for you.

Can confirm that is the event name. The cover photo on Facebook for Dragonvale has already been updated for the next event.

I always turn the colours back on after finding everything so it always feels like an achievement to see the Vale in full colour. I do love to see everything resaturate, half the reason I love this game is how great it looks (the other half is this community, ngl)
