Has anyone encountered any full-epic boards yet? That’s what I’ve been saving my fails for.
Haven't gotten any epic boards yet. I think you get "rewarded" one if you complete too many boards quickly. I did however get the Oaris dragon on my current board.

I have not received an epic on a donation board, and I have completed a lot of boards. I usually finish all 5 on doubles day.
Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that the epics have been removed. This makes the donation boards remarkably easier. So far, the most difficult dragon I have received is a Rift exclusive. I have also received Ghostly dragons, but the Rift exclusives are more difficult to breed. (Saving those unwanted mystery eggs and twins has come in quite handy!)

Previous events with the donation boards had epics. That was the norm.
It is a lot easier if there’s no epics. Long breeding/incubation times means you’re required to use gems to complete the board before it expires. Or use precious Rift breeds. If you don’t own all the dragons, or if you don’t own two of each, the donation boards are more difficult to complete. So it’s a good idea to keep two of each dragon in the Vale and Rift.
I received Chromacorn in a previous event. I believe I had one in my Gifts from the mystery eggs. You can also tap on the square and purchase it for gems if you’re stuck or don’t want to deal with a Chromacorn, but really want the event currency.
I haven’t received any epics so far. In the past, they usually showed up about 4-5 days after the event started, and they’re definitely in play by the second Doubles Weekend (which was last weekend) — even if you don’t complete the boards, epics will start appearing. So if they’re in this event, they’re arriving late, which is a huge relief.

I've gotten a singular rift exclusive snowsquall so far, but no ghostlies. dang. I'd hoped those were gone. The snowdquall only took one attempt between snowsquall^2, though.
Re donation card, I play them in the rift only, but also check what I have in incubation. I try to have 2 rifted of all dragons which makes cloning easy. Thus I can make one or two games easily. New card has a ghost. one and thus I will just do the rest and leave that one out.

You jinxed us lol! No, I’m just kidding. I thought you wanted Epics you seemed disappointed when it looked like there weren’t any and you couldn’t use your Epic eggs. Now you seen disappointed they will be showing up.
I don’t mind the Epics too much but it really seemed like we wouldn’t have any b/c it’s weird to have none for 2 weeks, usually I get them in less than a week. I hope you also asked DECA to delay them more 😄
Why did you sell your Epic eggs? Was it to get triple Doubloons? If so, that’s not a bad thing. You’ll have to get lucky to get the dragon you need or the type of dragon.

I'm tempted to just go ahead and buy Gawk. I don't like spending the event currency (even though I have a ton of it), but my co-op cave is clogged with another two day fail, and unless the koalas send me a Gawk in my regular breeding cave, it's just not happening. Not before the limited timer runs out.

Yes, it was indeed to get triple Doubloons. And I literary got extremely lucky early on somehow and bred all the event dragons I’m missing along with Gawk. Except Ikatako. What a stubborn octopus. I would still need multitudes of event currency to buy a ton of Paradise Habitats.

I didn’t receive any epics through the double and triple days either, so I was able to complete all 5 boards each day, which is what I was really hoping for, so at least there’s that.

Why do I keep getting all these long fails?
I was just trying to breed something for my donation bingo board, and I end up with another 26 hours timer. Now all of my breeding caves are clogged for the foreseeable future. 😟

Ditto. I was calmly trying to breed a nice 4 hour Iron dragon with Iron + Iron and got the super long Scoria/Auroch fail. We need more Kairoses.

Happened to me yesterday. Tried to breed Glacier for Donation Board. Got suckerpunched by a long Arctic fail.
It was Triple Days yesterday, so I have sacrifice precious Rift Breeds to fill them up. At least I landed on a traited Sailback yesterday while not doing so. What is going on with my luck in this event. XD

No, but I had that issue a short time ago. For some 16 hour period, all ads disappeared. No coli, no extra gem, no tolzar.
