Yesterday, Deca added the phrase 'This habitat will not count toward your park habitat limit' to the Paradise Habitat.




While they were at it, they also changed the Surface Habitat, so it is not included in the habitat limit!!




Enjoy the extra habitat slots if you were at capacity!

Good thing I bought eleven Paradise habitats during the last summer event. That's so much space, and none of it will count towards the limit anymore.

And here I thought I'd earned enough to need 10,5k more and be done with habitats. I'll gladly add more paradise habitats to that gargantuan island any day even, if it means missing dragons!

I'm really happy DECA did something about those surface habitats, as well. They eat up so many slots.

No Sailback or traited Razzle again. But I've bred something even better! My favorite DVW Dragon included in the game in rift mode.

I secretly still miss DragonVale World... I completed my Surface collection anticlimactically while I was maxing out my Epic Mystery Eggs before the event.

With this being the Paradise event is there any reason that the water theme wasn’t offered? I know we have the new summer
theme and is that in place of the water theme for this event? Just wondering.

It’s no secret that I still miss DVW. It was nicer and more compact, and you could see everything.

Any news on when to expect Expansion Extravaganza?  If (a lot) more islands are available it will encourage me to actually buy event currency to get more of these "don't count towards limit" habitats.

Icon test confirms I have a Zilla breeding in the CBC. I have managed to get all 3 permanent event dragons before the first limited appears tomorrow.

I just bred all 3 permanent dragons too Fletch_smf!  Such a relief to go into the first limited (and the first competition) being able to use my CBC.  Whoop!

Thanks debby for the Zilla!  I didn't even realize it and was completely surprised by the egg design!

Sand Castle is on my Hawaiian island with the Volcano.
Shipwreck is on my water and air island.
Pile of Gold is on my treasure island.

I don’t know when the next Expansion Extravaganza will be, but I will ask. Typically, we don’t receive any specific dates, but like you, I really hope there will be one soon and with multiple islands this time. The last EE was lacklustre being eight months late and only having one island, no park level increase, and no increase to the Hibernation Caves. We are definitely overdue for some major upgrades.
