The eye patch is a nice little touch, you know? I like it.
Parakeet or not, this one is going in my collection. Because you know what? He be stylin', dude. He be styling with that eye patch. In fact, that's where DECA was smart in their design of this one. Because he already comes with his own style/accessories. You don't even need to spend event currency or try to collect it from a treasure chest. It's right there when you get him and it looks awesome. 😎

I think Gawk is a much larger version — a parrot. Pirates must have a parrot on their shoulders at all times. Those parrots frequently sport an eye patch like their pirate friend. So it fits the theme beautifully.

Gawk in co-op for friends if they want to try. Thank you amos for the use of your Regal sorry wasn’t a twin. Took some breeding and gems to get. Had some really long fails like Regal, Loot and Party.🤯 Koalas 🐨 to everyone.

Gawk does look a lot like a parrot but it has cool horns so that give it a dragon likeness. I think it’s more like a dragon than Party or Venture. I love your idea of putting Party and Gawk in a habitat together like the Omnitat. I’m going to put Venture in there too and Toco. Now that I think about it there are A LOT of bird dragons in this game like Blazing and every other dragon lol.

Toco is one of my all time favorite dragons/birds in the game. But looking like a bird isn't necessarily a bad thing. I think it works in most cases because it's sort of like having Archaeopteryx in your park. That's what Toco is like, and Dash resembles a Velociraptor. So it works. They have their own unique charm and it works. 😊💙🥰
Fun fact, though. I'm horrible at naming dragons. So Toco is Taco and Dash is Velcro.

Got a water traited Gawk - now in co-op. The water trait is not very obvious. AND the very next breed got the rifted Loot I've been trying for all week.
Deca has been asked what is going on. I’ve asked if doubles will occur later today or on Sunday and Monday instead so players can plan.
I will let everyone know as soon was we hear back.
EDIT: so far it looks like a mistake. Players might want to hold off on doing any activities until Doubles Day is reinstated. If it takes a while, I can suggest there be a doubles on Sunday and Monday. But if it’s fixed quickly, which I suspect it will be, I wouldn’t expect a Monday Doubles Day.
