I believe any time you use a dragon as a parent, you have a chance to clone it, save the 10 primary dragons.
Not quite that straightforward unfortunately. Any evolved dragon requires two as parents to clone, any rift exclusive dragon cannot be cloned outside the rift, Solis and Lunis can only be cloned in co-op (but bred anywhere), Ghostly primaries cannot be single parent cloned. There are possibly more exceptions, but that's all I can remember.
Does anyone have a tip to help me breed Coldcoil? I have tried so many combos. Never mind. I read the first page that stated it can’t be bred. Sorry. I would delete post if I knew how.
Don't give up. I got 3x by accident. Of course, the three house dragons I need didn't even show up once.

My tip is to try to breed something else... I got several while trying for apex and atramento (pond and mirage, cumulus and lotus). I often get my "second priority" as a fail for what I am really trying to get. (They weren't breedable when event started, but thanks to Adlerist and other reps, Deca made them available after a few days).

Yep. Finally got the Chomp this morning (9/1) in the Rift. But before that I had to breed a Rifted Stygian, which was just a s hard! Anyway, I got it; hang in there.

Each event has 1 nice coin-generator, like a pedestal or decoration, you can buy for cheap then sell back to the game for millions of coins. I can’t find that for this Wild event yet. Has anyone identified it? What’s the best way to turn pinecones into dragoncoins?

It looks like the best thing to convert extra currency for the most dragoncash is the Seraph pedestal. You can buy for 500 event currency and sell for 4 million. This converts to 8,000 dragoncash per each pinecone.
Next is Combustion at 900 event currency and sell for 6 million. 6,666 per each pinecone.
If you haven't received your Cooking Badge from Chomp yet, there's not much time left. He is packing up his cooking pots and will be gone at reset. Buy or breed Chuck and/or pedestal before then.
Any chance that DECA will release a new island theme, before this event ends? That rustic, "Into the Wild" island would look great as a permanent feature in our parks.

Nothing is impossible, but I wouldn't anticipate one being introduced this far through the event.

I went back and apparently I scribbled quickly in my notes and couldn’t read my own writing. I had written 900 but it looks like a 700. 🤪 Thanks for the catch.
By trend, the nightbloom/seraph derg should be really pretty. If it looks like a Jerboa instead, I'm crying
