Traits for wilderness dragon please…..The ones we check before we put a dragon into games like “The Proving Ground”? Charts all say ‘moon’ but what traits are ‘moon’ ? Info on Page 1 of this thread lists: plant, fire, air, light, dark for wilderness BUT i messed up when i used Binky’s traits that were listed on a beginning thread : fire, earth, water, air, light, dark - had to remove fire & light later becuz apparently they didn’t apply in the ‘proving ground’ type games. Haven’t explained my question well, confuses even me… 🤪 Hope you understand enuf to be able to answer it … Thanks 👍🏻😃
I just throw in a level 20 double rainbow of mine (it has all 10 elements), and then choose a friend’s level 20 dragon that has an element that matches one of the four that are indicated. If there is no match, I just choose a level 20 of a friend’s dragon. So far, it has worked well and had always given me the highest amount of pinecones (30, and 60 on double days). I hope this is what you are asking and that my answer is helpful. 😅
It's not save to assume what they can do, so almost everyone sends a level 20 rainbow to get pinecones. Pair with someone else's elder dragon for best results.
"Save" ative traits in racing are shown ones. Unless it's BEB you only need a 50% match. It's not worth it to figure out hidden active elements.

After learning this an event or two ago, I now do the same.
I have a friend who must have quite playing, because a level 20 Twin Snowflake has been in co-op for the last couple of years lol. I put up my Double Rainbow with the Snowflake and get max pinecones, etc. every time. It’s gotten to the point that I don’t even notice what elements are up, I just automatically select those two . 😊

Got myself a Frons dragon. The only one left to breed is Vipera.
That is awesome!!! Congrats!!! I still have to get Coldcoil. I hope we don’t get two more dragons at the end. This would be the first time I was able to get all the dragons in my Park.

It's officially been one year since I picked up DragonVale again. I had played on and off from around 2016 to the very start of 2019 but had seemingly lost my progress after a device change. Fast forward a year or so later, I found my old device and was able to connect through Google to get my old progress on my new device. My park was finally available to me again. After getting back into the swing of things, I knew what my end goal was for the next few years- earning a non-traited, non-twin version of every dragon. When I rejoined I was around level 65; fittingly, I hit level 150 today. I believe I had somewhere around 400 dragons- now I have 575 and am continuing to grow my collection!
In pursuing this goal, I realized right after Camp DV that I would need to work to earn as many of each event's dragons as possible- that way, in the second year when everything returns in those events, I can complete those collections. I have already begun this process as I now have every Into the Wild dragon- corresponding with Camp DV, of course, where I made sure I was in the best place possible to "complete" the event collection. I hope to continue this process and to continue to explore the endless possibilities of this wonderful game.
No part of this would have been possible had I not found these communities- I still remember stumbling upon this forum (the first community I discovered!) in my first week of returning, trying to figure out when Camp DV would begin. Thanks to everyone on here who has helped make the game much more than just a game; because of the amazing, supporting, and kind communities, this game has evolved into a community of its own.
I look forward to the years to come and cannot wait to see what else is in store for DV. ❤️

Summer camp has ended, but there’s still an anniversary around the corner! Woven has weaved its way into the Vale as the ninth anniversary dragon.
UPDATE: We still have not received a response from Deca about extending Woven’s departure date. Currently, all the previous anniversary dragons are scheduled to expire tomorrow at reset.
This does not provide much time to breed Woven. And since there has not been a BEB in 12 months, there’s been no opportunity to breed Woven since it was released last year for the 2020 anniversary, which coincided with the last BEB. Therefore, many players did not have a chance to obtain Woven.
If you don’t own the wicker dragon, many lucky koalas to you over the next 24 hours!

adlerist What about terracotta also? I wasn’t playing during the 8th anv and missed it. And then last year I was so busy trying to get Woven, I missed out on Terracotta.
Could Deca extend Terracotta’s departure time too??
