A little update on my progress! I started playing Dragonvale again last year, after having quit for many years. I originally used to play back when this game was first released! Not sure when I quit, but I definitely played for years. I don't know exactly how many dragons I had when I started playing again, but I remember I was level 80 something. Having started partway through last year's valentine's event, I have now been playing for a year, and with all the events, I have managed to get so many dragons! I started keeping track in July last year, and I think it's really neat to see my progress! Over this past year, I have also managed to get most of the permanent dragons, except some Chrysalis, Galaxy, and Ghostlies.
This year, I will be getting a run through of all the events a second time, and hopefully will be able to pick up the rest of the event dragons I missed. Therefore, my goal for this next year is to get all those permanents I am missing, as well as the old and new event dragons. By next April-ish, hopefully I will have fire!

Hyperion is blue-hearted at the Cooperative Breeding Cave with 7 times the dragon glory! Koala x 700 to all! (If we’re not friends, please message me, and I’ll be happy to add you!)

• I insta-levelled up to park level 170. Looks like that bug hasn’t been fixed. It’s been reported to Deca by the FB rep.
• Also, I’ve request that Fury and Narcis be released, so players can breed the new dragon.

Help I logged on this morning after reset and I’m already at level 170 without doing anything. I have the ability to purchase the island, but I have no idea how many habitats I’m supposed to have at the moment.
Any additional information would be helpful. Hopefully not to many people have the same issue.

My Daily Epic egg is coming in four days, so I’ll wait for it instead. Also, can I saw traited Hyperion and seriously, it’s underwhelming yet again... Shame, I’m trying for traited Binky/Fireflight then.

The insta-level up is a known bug, and was reported earlier today. Thank you for letting us know.
Park level 170 allows you to have 280 habitats (although I’m not sure you can fit 280 habitats on 33 islands).
If you go to the Market and tap Habitats, at the top of the screen it’ll show how many habitats you currently have and your park level’s habitat cap. You can also purchase additional habitats slots from that screen, but it’s not necessary anymore with high park levels and never enough islands.

More Updates
• Fury and Narcis are now available!
• I’ve updated Quil’s DV Compendium, so the dragons in Dragons Week are included, but Hyperion is not on it yet, neither is Fury or Narcis.
• Lumineux had another change. The light element is now on its info card and Lumineux can reside in the Light habitat.

So, if we were hit with the leveling up bug, what do we do? Can we buy the island? Should we even play or will it all be rolled back? I just fed my rift fury to level 17, so I’m pretty sure I earned the experience to get me to 166, will that all be lost?

The new 33rd island is unlocked if you’re at level 170. You should just play on. The last time this occurred, no parks were reverted back. It would be very difficult for Deca to do that fairly.

Hooray! What a Good Friday (oh no, that auto capitalised, is this heresy?) New islands! Three on the way and hopefully one more before the week is up (how long does it take to get a billion DC???) New dragon! For which I have the parents (if only one of each) and a long breeding window Returning dragons! Three of which are on my shrinking Wishlist (Gryphus, Fireflight, Dartwing) And some kind soul has 💙 Buttercup (the one I missed in sweet dreams)

Me too, and I was kind of glad since I am able to purchase the new island right away. I quickly switched to my other 2 parks and they both got insta-leveled up. 😅😅. Not complaining at all. 😀🙏
Am I right that Misfortune isn’t available to breed? (I need one in the rift before I can try for Fury 😩)
Unfortunately, Fury’s parents, Misfortune and Snowpocalypse are not available. I’ll ask if they can be added.

Breeding this new dragon will not be easy. I estimate the odds to be about half a percentage chance when using Narcis + Fury. If you breed through the 10k tries in the rift every day, it'll take a couple weeks on average. Even 300 tries, roughly 3 weeks, only 80% will get one. You can use this info to decide if you want to focus on Dragons Week dragons or this new one. I hope that in the future, they don't release new dragons during a Dragons Week. The whole point is to give us time to catch up.
