My thoughts on this event are so conflicting I don't even know where to begin. The initial dragon designs were great, along with Umbra, but the Melody dragons are honestly disastrous. I love the idea of a music element and I want to like these dragons so much, but I can't force myself to like them. I feel like this new element is a huge step backwards for DECA since we're coming off of what I might consider to be one of DECA's strongest events (Into the Wild). I was so excited with the "Into the Dark" theme but now I'm not convinced that the camping theme was even relevant to most of the new designs... I want to like Melody so much but I just don't right now. I'm cautiously anticipating the next releases.

I love the new Melody concept. Unfortunately, I was not able to breed any of them. I have 2 Parks at max level and a small Park and was not able to breed any of them. I had to use my precious candy to buy them.

It was really easy to pick the best three dragons of the event: Etch, Funis, and Umbra. The Melody dragons were not as interesting, and neither was Infernus.

I’ve posted a lot today, I didn’t mean to just got caught up in it b/c I’ve been away for a while. I meant to finish my ratings but ended up posting on the Dragin Draw thread. 😄 I’ll come back soon and do the ratings.

Umbra is for me the real winner here 😊

Infernus and Etch are good too

I think that Heavy metal, Punk and Techno are beautiful dragons but not ok for an Halloween theme

It's hard to choose three because there are plenty of dragons that I really like. In the end, I decided to go with Heavy Metal, Infernus and Etch.

My fav is Umbra ! Loved ❤️ everything about it (except that it had to be evolved).
2nd fav is Techno as a close second. Think i am one of the few to like him but i thought he was fab - reminded me of the guy in nightmare before Christmas.
3rd fav is heavy metal.
Hoping we get at least a week off before a new event 👍🏻

My votes: Umbra, Infernus, and Etch. 

I feel pretty relaxed playing this event. I was fortunate enough (or maybe I sat in the 🍷 lounge for a long time 😛) to breed all the dragons. I like that the last released dragon is evolvable, but do realize that it can be difficult for those who do not own Scout. Nevertheless, it was a nice break for me to catch up on rift breeding. It would be nice if they had offered the runic caves instead of the bingo boards, which I hardly use, since I need the rift for breeding the traited dragons that I am missing. 

I like the melody/music theme and the habitats, but feel that it does not fit into this event. All in all, it had been a pretty good event for me.  It is much appreciated that DECA is listening to the Valers and making continuous improvements.

Heavy metal and Punk. Just couldn't get behind a third one this time around. Infernus was the nicest looking of the perm dragons, but the animation was lackluster so I just couldn't vote for it. Maybe spooky isn't my bag...

Haha, I managed to place in my votes in the actual poll this time!

Anyway, it seems like everyone's got the same general opinions as I do. My favorite dragons from this event were Umbra, Funis, and Etch. There weren't that many dragons in this event that I cared for much, since the majority of them ranked from "eh, it's okay" to "why does this exist?" Luckily, the Umbra dragon was this event's Prestige for me (for reference, Prestige is tied with Dawnbringer as my favorite dragon in the game when you ignore the existence of the Wilderness dragon), though not to the exact same level in terms of all-time favorites. Funis and Etch are alright too, but not to the same extent as Umbra.

Another event done, which means it's time for the clothing store to swap out the dragons for new ones for that sweet seasonal fashion.

Oh my gosh I almost forgot to vote for my faves of the event! I had to log back in (and get more candy from the scavenger hunt!).
