When Country does a shimmy with his shoulders... well, that’s a bit much. It’s a little uncomfortable watching a dragon do that dance move.

It’s interesting how country music evolved and adopted western wear and cowboys, which then evolved into farming and farmers. Country the dragon embodies all of this with his western finger guns, farmer wheat sprig in his mouth, and country music Melody element. Although Thanksgiving isn’t traditionally associated with country music, I get where Deca made the connection.

Without a doubt, baby Country is very endearing with his teary, doe-like eyes.

It looks like Deca is modeling the Melody dragons after stereotypical versions of musicians from each music genre instead of starting with a dragon inspiration. Perhaps if the process is reversed, and the foundation is a dragon, the Melody dragons would not resemble humans as much.

8. Comments/feedback for Deca (optional) Country is the best of all the Melody dragons so far. He’s really adorable as a baby and I like his lizard looks as an adult.
1. Animation - 5/5 - great job. Lots going on here which i always like. Obviously he is line dancing so the moves he makes fit well.
2. Rift trait - 5/5 - looks good w/them. I have the earth trait on mine which suits him very well. I think the water trait makes him seem more like an amphibian but they all look good.
3. Size 4/5 - on large side. As i said on another review, it must be hard to get them just right or all of them would fit well.

6. Design details - 3/5 - okay, being picky here. Like him, think he is cute and the line dancing (the shoulder shimmy & six-shooter pistols) fits the country vibe BUT i would have liked him to be a big-chested Gator (like the University of Florida Gators)….but maybe there would be copyright troubles? He looks too lizard-like, would like him to be a big tough gator. Those wings on his arms & crest on his head make him too fish-like to me also. 🤨🤔. Would like him to look more tough & fierce, less ‘cute’. Could have had a bit more color also.
7. How much do you like County - 3/5 - good looking dragon but he could have been much better by looking bigger & tougher.
8. Comments/feedback for Deca - love his animation, good job there!. Fits harvest theme very well. However, i think he could have been more colorful and would have preferred more macho - a big bad gator here rather than looking like a small water lizard.

8. Comments/feedback for Deca : While I like the concept of Melody, and all its habitats are so beautiful, I would very much prefer that the dragons look (and move) less like humans. To me, Harmony would be a great “Melody” dragon. 😀
