Yes, the always amazing @schmackler maintains a list of dragons by release date on wiki. Here’s the link.
On the Forum, you can go to Reference > Dragon Library > Event History and see which dragons were release for each event on the event thread. But it’d much faster to use Schmackler’s list, since there’s nine months of dragons to update.
That’s an incredible list, thank you! I can see that Quil’s list goes up to Narcis so I’ll update from there on. I do notice that the Dragondex has Snooz as #639, but Quil’s list goes up to 557 and am trying to understand the discrepancy. It’s not Ghostlies - could it be Rift exclusives? I didn’t think there were that many!
Quil’s list is specifically designed for the RBCs. So it’s not going to include Legendaries, Galaxy dragons, Rift exclusives, etc that cannot be bred or cloned at the RBCs.
Schmacklar’s document is a comprehensive list for all DV dragons.

As a reminder on decorating your Ornamental habitats:
Dazzling, Twinkle, and Starshine add a star on top of the trees, and lights to the two windows of the tower. Flicker adds lights to the trees. Lace and Ribbon add lace to the trees. Ornamental adds ornaments on the trees, and red bows to the bridge/tower. Verglace and Tinsel add swirls to the ice, and icicles on the bridge/tower.

Thank you for the information. I've been wanting to rearrange the dragons in my Ornamental habitats so that they all have some kind of decoration. This will make things easier so I don't end up with one habitat that has nothing and the one next to it has everything.

That makes a lot of sense, thank you.
On a related note, if I updated Quil’s list for the newer dragons, should I post a link here so people can use a copy?

Yes, that would be marvellous! I’ll also put the link on the first page so it doesn’t get lost. That will definitely help members. Thank you so much for all your time and assistance! ❤️

DragonMoonX, I posted an image of my Ornamental habitats a couple years ago. Backflip had closed and LynnMarie and I were reminiscing about the beauty of DV. At the time, the game was in limbo. We heard there were new owners, but no-one knew who they were.
Ya know, I hadn’t noticed, or maybe I just forgot, but each of the habitats has its own sound feature. 🎶 I had popped out of and back into my park kinda fast, and the background winter music didn’t catch up and was silent. So I was listening to the chings and dings while collecting from my habitats and noticed all the different sound effects for each. I don’t know if it’s a new thing, upgraded or has always been there, but it is so cool. After all these years, I still get amazed at how talented BF is with all these little details.💗🐲 I truly hope the new owners don’t corrupt the beauty of the game.
The habitat sound effects have always been in place, and I absolutely love them! My favourites are the 'canyon echoing eagle' from the large air habitat, the 'lightning storm with buzz of electricity' from the giant lightning habitat, the 'devil’s breath' of the large dark habitat, and the 'high pitch squawking drunk birds' from the large rainbow habitat.
The habitats are true works of art with loving detail. So much so, the sound effects for the large and giant habitats are different variations of the same sounds. Click on them when there’s no DC to collect and hear them in all their splendid wonder.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the ornamental habitat, as it’s currently in season. It takes loving detail to a new level. The original ornamental dragons interact with the habitat and activate different animations when placed in it.
If you’re curious about what dragon sets off which animation...
Flicker: adds a string of lights to the trees
Dazzling, Twinkle, Starshine: adds a star to the treetops and lights up the tower windows
Lace, Ribbon: adds a string of lace to the trees
Ornamental: adds ornaments to the trees and red bows to the bridge and tower
Verglace, Tinsel: adds icicles to the tower and bridge and a fancy pattern on the ice
Here’s the ornamental habitat with no animation (right) and in full force (front and back)
May we never forget all the glorious details of DragonVale.

I appreciate that they added two, but I still feel like they're being stingy with the total amount. Assuming that I get the two new habitats and they don't add any more Ornamental dragons during this event, I'm still going to be devoting 3 of my Omnitats to housing Ornamental dragons. I like to display an adult and a baby of each Epic dragon, so I probably use up more habitats than a lot of people as a result. Even so, I don't have this issue with any other Epic dragons. I use one Omnitat for my Aura dragons, but all of the rest have enough space in their own habitats.
This problem arose because they had two Winter events where they added Ornamental dragons but did not add any habitats. Perhaps it's just me, but I'd really appreciate it if they'd add a couple more. It seems counter to the season's spirit to be stingier with Ornamental habitats compared to all of the others. Is there a place where I can officially make this request?
I would love a couple of extra Ornamental Habitats too. I also have Ornamental dragons in Omnitats as I don't have enough habitats. Deca have been very good with giving us extra habitats when we've asked for them, so hopefully if they know that they didn't give us any last year they'll give us a couple of extra. 🤞

Okay, here it is! In addition to adding the new dragons, I also added a column for whether it is limited or not and updated which dragons are marked as available. I also added the breeding combos so if a dragon is available, it recommends the breeding combo, otherwise it tells you to clone it. Take a look and tell me what you think - there are probably a few holes / mistakes here and there as I'm not familiar with all the dragons and was working off a combination of the ED and the Wiki. It's also missing most of the Gemstone/Crystalline dragons, but I can add them later on if they become available.

Wait ... the habitat changes according to what dragons are in it? That's amazing.

Thank you so much, this is outstanding! I’ll add your link to the FP.
I believe Quil purposefully left many of the Gemstone / Crystalline dragons off the list because they cannot be cloned. They can only be bred, which means the dragons need to be available or BEB needs to be active.
I skip the Gemstone / Crystalline dragons at the RBCs. I only clone two of the same dragon, because I’m trying to maximum my time, breed as many unique dragons as possible for the bonus event currency, and reduce the number of repeat fails. But the breeding hints you added will definitely help players who don’t own the dragon. If they do own the dragon, especially if they own two, there’s a much higher chance of cloning two of same dragon, than using one, or using the breeding hint, even if the dragon is available.

Thank you!! I was using the old one. Much appreciated

Thank you for this! I had NO idea any of the ornamentals did this.
Gemstone/crystalline dragons can’t be cloned even if you’re using two as parents? I didn’t know this.
What does it mean in the RBC description when it says go ahead and explore the RBC and another breeding cave can be summoned during this event? Does this explain the big gap in the RBCs?
Also there is a triple day RBC (I’m guessing Christmas and /or new year’s). Should we wait to use purchased runestones until then to maximize the haul? (Ok, that’s actually 3 questions, 4 if you really nitpick)
Get your twice as nice dragons with every breed at the Cooperative Breeding Cave!

Gemstone / Crystalline dragons cannot be cloned. They can only be bred using their breeding combo.
The RBC description is just encouraging players to try out or 'explore' the RBCs. 'Summoned' refers to activating another RBC using a Runestone.
There will likely be a Triple Day on Xmas. Historically, there’s a pattern of a Xmas Triple Day. Maybe New Year’s Day too, we’ll have to wait and see.
EDIT: Just realised I didn’t answer one of your questions. You can buy Runestones now and use them on Xmas. The Runestones are held until you decide to activate a RBC. If you think you’ll have time on Xmas to play, then it would a good time to receive triple the Iceberries for your breeds. It’s also a good time to spend gems to speed up RBC breeds.

Those are good points about Gemstone/Crystalline dragons - at this stage I only added the ones available now (Mesolite/Turquoise/Jet) and left in the ones that must’ve been available when Quil last updated but marked them as unavailable. I’m hoping the Fixed label + updated (un)available will the most useful to people in prioritising dragons, and the breeding hints useful to those who don’t have two (me for many newer dragons)

I’m glad the two newbies came rather quickly. Jamjam was acclaimed during two weekend to boot! No luck with any of the rifties I’m missing. I’m going to claimed traited Snowball soon, feed it up and pray it'll be a g-luck charm for these traited House Ornmanentals. Venture won’t give me much...0

So glad it is a twin weekend!! Anyone have best dragons to use to clone with friend for the new event dragons Snowflake 7, Chaiko, and Jamjam?
