If you’re new to Twin Weekend and you’re using gems to speed up breeds, here are some tips to ensure you receive all the twins you bred for yourself, your alt / secondary parks, and your friends. If you’ve used gems to speed up breeds during Twin Weekend, here’s a refresher.
HOW TO ENSURE TWINS ARE DELIVERED TO YOUR MAIN PARK WHEN CO-OP BREEDING WITH A SECONDARY PARK ON TWIN WEEKEND
I did a number of Cooperative Cave breeds to test the issue of twins failing to appear in a park while breeding in the co-op with an secondary park. Since speed breeding is a large part of the problem, but is widely relied upon during Twin Weekend, I sped up all the breeds in these tests. This is what I discovered...
USING ONE DEVICE
If your secondary park is on the same device as your main park, and you’re trying to breed twins for the main park — you’re in luck. There doesn’t appear to be any issues with the delivery of twins.
I sped up 26 co-op breeds in a secondary account that’s on the same device as my main park.
• After 4-6 co-op breeds, I checked my main account to ensure the twins were delivered. They were all in my Gifts.
• Remember, there is a limit of 10 twins that can be waiting since your last park visit, so don’t leave your park unchecked for too long.
• To be extra cautious, if I received the breeding time for a twin I needed, I switched to my main park to empty the queue for twins, went back to the secondary park and sped-up the breed, then returned to the main park to ensure the twin was delivered.
• From the 26 co-op breeds performed, I received all 26 twins in my main account.
USING TWO DEVICES
If you have a secondary park on a device that’s different from your main park’s device, and you’re trying to breed twins for the main account, it’s much trickier to consistently deliver the twins to your main park.
I sped up 33 breeds on an old Android device that has a secondary park, which is not associated or linked to my main park (main park is on an iPad Pro).
Three Different Methods
1. If I kept my main park open and bred a twin on the Android, my main account would receive the pop-up message for the twin (and the twin in my Gifts), about 2-3 minutes after completing the breed. After breeding about 5 consecutive twins, the pop-up stopped showing and twins are no longer received, or very rarely. Only force closing the app, then restarting the game will allow the delivery of twins to resume. Also, if I closed the main park before the twin pop-up appeared, the twin was lost. And if I continued to speed breed in the secondary before the pop-up showed, the twin was lost.
2. If I switched to an alt account on my iPad Pro, and sped up a twin breed on the Android, then switched back to my main park on the iPad Pro, I had the same results as above: received the pop-up message of the twin (this time it only took 30 seconds - 1 minute to appear). After repeating the above steps approximately 5 times, switching between parks on the iPad Pro after each twin is bred, twins will no longer be delivered to the main park, or very sporadically, requiring a force close of the app.
3. If I force closed the game on my iPad Pro, sped up a twin breed on the Android, then reopened the main park, sometimes I’d receive the pop-up message and the twin, sometimes not. Note: with the twin push notification now disabled on iOS, it’s impossible to know exactly how long you must wait before opening the game; therefore, until the bug is fixed, this method has become extremely unreliable. (Update: iOS push notifications for twins has been restored, so this could be a reliable method.)
CONCLUSION
• TWO DEVICES: After breeding approximately 5 twins from your secondary park, even though you’ve been opening your main park after each twin to clear the twins in-waiting, your main account will stop receiving twins. So after the fourth or fifth twin, force close the app and restart the game to help ensure twins will continue to arrive.
• ONE DEVICE: This is the preferred method due to less difficulty delivering twins and no disappointment from not receiving one.
• DOES THIS MEAN I’M MISSING A LOT OF TWINS FROM FRIENDS DURING OR OUTSIDE OF TWIN WEEKEND? If your friends are speed breeding most or all of their co-op breeds with your dragon, rapidly and in-a-row, during Twin Weekend, you’re probably missing some of the twins they bred. However, if they’re not speed breeding, it’s likely you’ll receive those twins — provided you don’t have more than 10 waiting for you between sessions — but it’s no guarantee. When Twin Weekend is not running, it’s much less likely you’ll be missing any twins, since the probability of twins eliminates the speed breeding and non-delivery issue. But again, it’s no guarantee.

Due to a potential limit on the number of friends a player can have before issues arise in the game, I will only be able to add Forum members. Thank you, for your understanding, and please consider joining us!
Yes, that would be marvellous! I’ll also put the link on the first page so it doesn’t get lost. That will definitely help members. Thank you so much for all your time and assistance! ❤️
Okay, here it is! In addition to adding the new dragons, I also added a column for whether it is limited or not and updated which dragons are marked as available. I also added the breeding combos so if a dragon is available, it recommends the breeding combo, otherwise it tells you to clone it. Take a look and tell me what you think - there are probably a few holes / mistakes here and there as I'm not familiar with all the dragons and was working off a combination of the ED and the Wiki. It's also missing most of the Gemstone/Crystalline dragons, but I can add them later on if they become available.
Thanks so much for doing this! That was a lot of work you added tons. Everyone appreciates this so much 😊
So glad it is a twin weekend!! Anyone have best dragons to use to clone with friend for the new event dragons Snowflake 7, Chaiko, and Jamjam?
I always use an elder dragon that shares an element with the parent dragon as I have had the most success with these.
Chaiko is Cold, Water, Air, Jamjam is Plant, Fire, Earth, Cold. There is some debate about whether Snowflake 7 is able to be cloned in co-op. If you try, use one of its elements - Cold, Earth or Water. Please let us know if you successfully manage to clone Snowflake 7.

Thanks so much, I was able to clone Chaiko with Elder Air and JamJam with Elder Plant. Will start on Snowflake as soon as Jamjam finishes (didn't speed that one up yet).

Can the house dragons be made available for breeding as well, since they are needed for some of the breeding combos?
I can ask, but Deca has said they can’t always include all the parents for dragons that are in the event market, because that would be too many dragons. The house dragons are usually available during a house event, but maybe they’ll make an exception. No promises though.

Members may have noticed Snowflake 7 has a question mark for its cloning percentage on the first page. That’s because all its cloning percentages are 0% in the file. Snowflake 1-5 and Monolith 1-6 also show 0%. When the Monolith and Snowflake dragons were first released, they were not clonable. Backflip changed this in 2016. The FB rep has evidence of this and some Forum staff have been able to clone Snowflake 1-5 using one target parent ('single parent cloning'). Any dragon can be used to single parent clone a Snowflake dragon (it does not need to be an epic or another snowflake), but ideally you don’t want to add extra, unnecessary elements.
In previous years, I have had a lot of difficulty breeding Monolith 4 and 5 and Snowflake 4 at the RBCs using two of the same parents (Monolith 5 + Monolith 5, also called 'normal cloning'). So there’s some question if normal cloning works, although there’s no doubt single parent cloning (Monolith 5 + another dragon) is effective. Normal cloning generally has a much higher percentage than the breeding hint or single parent cloning, so at the very least, the normal cloning bonus is not in play.
As a result, we really don’t know if Snowflake 7 is clonable or not. So if you are able to single parent clone Snowflake 7 or normal clone Snowflake 7, please let us know. Cheers and snowflake koalas to all!

So I definitely got iceberries for racing at the Dragon Track today. It's not listed as a method of earning iceberries in the event help section, and I'm pretty sure I tried a race yesterday and didn't get any. Perhaps it's a bug and we only get them on double days? Maybe I did earn them yesterday but somehow didn't see it (seems unlikely). Either way, I'd recommend the track to supplement your event currency!

Ugh. I’m new to the runic cave thing and somehow I have 3 active at the same time 🙁 Am I doing something wrong? I didn’t think I activated more than one?
PSA: Deca has stated the Dazzling and Ornamental bug from several years ago has been quashed
Players may recall Dazzling and Ornamental were outcomes whenever ornamental dragons were bred, even though the breeding requirements for Dazzling and Ornamental were not met. This bug started two years ago, when the House ornamental dragons were introduced. Today, Deca said the bug has been fixed!
Cheers to Deca Games and to no more erroneous 55 hour breeding fails from Dazzling! 🥂

Not at all! One is free the whole time, one you activate using the runestone during the tutorial, and one activates during double days (and there’s another for triple days). You’re doing fine, go ahead and take advantage of the extra caves!

I hate to break the news but:
It's not fixed.
This is a reduced 18 hour timer.
I also just got an Ornamental with Harmony + Iron Blossom.

I was worried about this. Deca said the Dazzling bug was fixed and the Ornamental habitats increased. I asked if the Ornamental dragon was fixed, and they said yes. But the Ornamental dragon and Ornamental habitat seemed to be confused. Hopefully, the Dazzling bug was successfully addressed, because that’s such a long breeding fail.
I’ve informed Deca, but they likely won’t be able to work on it until after the weekend.

Thanks for the notification. I also tried the Race Track yesterday and didn't get any iceberries. I wouldn't have bothered trying again.
