Go to: Social > Invite Friends > Change Icon > Baby OR Adult Dragons > then look for the icon of new dragon. If the picture is there you have the new dragon. 😁 Then you just back out, you don’t have to change the icon.
I thought they ‘undid’ that?
It was missing for some players for a couple of days, but it was fine for others and back for all now.

Buttercup has air, cold, earth, and light as elements when breeding. Using any of these 5 dragon elements as primaries will be perfect, and not add additional results to the breeding attempt. They all result in the same chance to get Buttercup. Hope that helps!

Yes, my Buttercup has loads of offspring to help others so I tried for Lumineux and got it also with Elder Ghostly Plant with two tries. It is level 20 in coop now.

I managed to breed my Buttercup with someone’s Lullaby and have a Lullaby in my co-op. I was lucky and got it in my third attempt and I have a timer for what might be a second.
I’ve been hanging around the forum anonymously for a while (I stopped playing in 2019 and started from where I left off again last year). You all still rock and thanks for all the great information.

After taking a moment to think about things, I realized that Buttercup looks like it could have been a Gemstone dragon. It looks like what would happen if Lapis, Gold and Okenite had a baby.
And that got me thinking. What if some day we were able to breed more than two dragons? Imagine the possibilities from triple combinations. It could happen eventually. Just to keep things new and interesting with different breeding methods.

Hawk designed the Dreamcatcher dragon for the Community Design Contest and Deca released it into the Vale as the Lightmare dragon.

PSA: For those who are having issues with the Redo ads for Eggy Hatchy, please be sure you’ve updated to the latest DV version 4.26.0
Ads load noticeable faster in my game on an iPad Pro (6GB RAM), so the difference should be noticeable for those with 2GB RAM. This has also helped with Eggy Hatchy and the Redo ads. If you’re still experiencing problems after updating, Deca has requested that you open a support ticket or email them from your game.

I just posted Buttercup’s quest, and it is Fluffy Jewel, so clearly Gemstone-esque.
Oh my goodness, three dragon breeding 😄🙃. I think that would break the DV sandbox. And the universe.

I’m loving the look of this event (and the forum!). The aesthetic is right up my alley!
I’m also excited because I restarted playing just after Valeice last year - a full year of successful events means this is the last big gap in my Dragonarium! If I can get all these dragons, it’ll be a set of small steps to 🔥 !!! (Admittedly those steps include Rigel with no Rifted Galaxies and Spectrapod but still. It’s close!)

Congrats. It is a gorgeous dragon. I already have a regular Level 20 adult and a twin leveled up to 20 and sent to the fountain of youth. Both stages of this dragon are really nice.
Buttercup was contributing five elements, although its profile card only showed four. It’s been requested that Buttercup’s plant element be removed. Today, Deca confirmed plant will be eliminated from Buttercup’s contributing elements, and it is now in the game! Hopefully, there won’t be any more five-element rare dragons, as this status has long been reserved for Quintessence, the 500th dragon.
