Yes, everyone received Bellflower and the Hatchling of Magic decoration in their Gifts. If you tap the Collect button you can claim them. Both the dragon and the decoration are top-notch! A really memorable celebration of Gaia the Great!
I was reading the Info description of Mesmer, in which it mentions a place called Lemnos. When googling Lemnos, I find it is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea, interesting 🤔 I also found, according to Greeka.com …. “ According to ancient Greek mythology, Lemnos was the island of Hephaestus, the god of fire and volcanoes. A myth says that he landed on this island when Hera, his mother, threw him from Mount Olympus, where the Gods lived because she saw that he was an ugly baby.” 😳
It is my opinion that Mesmer is really Hephaestus ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yesterday was a clusterfudge that ended with the day wasted and nothing to show for my efforts but sleep deprivation with continuing knock-on effects today... including spacing out and forgetting to buy a Buttercup dragon before burning the rest of my currency maxing out Omnitats. I give up good night... -_-
I finally have time to do a bit of tidying… picking up all the apples, putting the whine glasses in the dishwasher.
Also enjoying a sit and a quiet cup of coffee. ☕️☺️

I know a lot of people weren't happy with this event, but I didn't have a problem and really enjoyed it. I was able to clone Buttercup, Lumineux and Lightmare right away. Lullaby took some time and patience, but I eventually cloned him and Orlena too. The only ones I had to purchase were Mesmer and Astraline.
I got everything I wanted and still had event currency leftover for purchasing habitats. I also received a twin Masque, so that was one more dragon I didn't have to spend currency on. To be perfectly honest, the events are so easy nowadays that I sometimes find myself getting bored halfway through because there's no challenge in it anymore. But I'm definitely not complaining! I'd rather have it easy like it is now instead of the horrendous challenge it used to be when BFS was still in charge.
Of course, it probably helps that I'm not trying to collect every dragon, pedestal and decoration. I didn't even get any of the new decorations like the dream catcher and dream cloud. They were nice and everything, but I didn't really want to spend currency on them. So I decided to pass.

Sorry to hear that. Try not to fret too much. Just holler if you need a Buttercup 💙.. and look at the bright side, you are all set on Omnitats, which are very expensive. 🐨🐨🐨

Has there really been a "standard one week break"? It seems like events usually end on a Monday, giving us a couple of days to buy items from the market, and then the next event starts on Thursday. I wouldn't exactly call that a week. At any rate, if the event was going to start on Thursday like it usually would, we'd have seen a countdown by now. And there are still 4 more days of this current International Women's Day "Event", so I suspect nothing else will happen until that's over.

The standard one week break is referring to an actual break between events. Unless there’s a bug or something else that’s prevent an event from starting, we receive one week with no event activity every third or fourth event.

the long fails in all my breeding areas are finally winding down and i don’t know where to start to get all the dragons i’m missing from this event. i fear the next event will start in a couple of days. has anyone figured out which dragons have the best odds? want to share? i usually use the sandbox but i don’t trust it being up to date because of the dream element changes.

Quil’s DragonVale Compendium will provide the breeding and cloning percentages for the dragons in the event market. Here’s a link to the DV Compendium thread, which has instructions on how to navigate the spreadsheet. Here’s a link to the DV Compendium.
• Be sure to make a copy of the Compendium • Select the Dragonarium tab • Under Category Type, choose Compendium • Under Category, select Current Event
You’ll see all the event dragons listed and their breeding and cloning percentages.
Under the Breeding Sim (Simulator) tab, you can select the breeding parents and see the percentages for the offspring.
Quil’s thread has more detailed instructions and screenshots.
You now have Love on your profile and in your life.

Lightmare and Lumineux had a strong start and stayed neck and neck for several days. But by the close of the week, Lightmare had captured everyone’s hearts and dreams. The luminous, diaphanous Lightmare ended at the top, like an angel on a Christmas tree or a star in the midnight sky. Much fanfare and cheer to the magnificent hawk!
