WISHES - What to Wish For
A wish is given after 100 days of logging into the park. It does not have to be 100 consecutive days – the counter does not reset. If it is the first wish awarded, the Wishing Well is placed in the Social Menu. This will need to be placed in the park to access the wish. Click on the building to access the wish menu.
Wishes accumulate – they do not expire. To see how many wishes you have accumulated, click on the wishing well then the claim wish button. Select a category and the number of wishes that you have available will be in the corner on the bottom left.
Each day gives a different reward. The next post shows each reward for the day that is being claimed.
Wishes can be used for almost anything in the game, with some exceptions.
Exceptions.
Legendary dragons – Kairos, Gaia & Ts’aishen
Mythic dragons – Bahamut & Tiamat
Treasure – Gems, Etherium, DC, Treats
Upgrades to Breeding Cave/Island
Upgrades to Habitats
Dragons/habitats/decorations in the current event – whether new or old. They are all removed from the market and wish market.
If a wish is used for a dragon, it will be a normal dragon – not a Twin or a Rift dragon.
The most recommended items to spend the wish on are :
Dragonsai Gifting Tree/Dragonsai Bush.
If the Gifting Tree is owned it allows a player to gift gems to an additional 3 friends. If the Dragonsai Bush is also owned it allows a player to gift a gem to one additional friend. If they are both owned, a player can gift gems to an additional 4 friends.
Gargantuan/Overgrown/Colossal Island.
These give a lot of space and are huge as their name suggests. Before using a wish, check where the island will be placed – it is a pre-determined place and could be a long way from the closest pre-owned island.
Gemstone Habitat.
These Gemstone Habitats can be purchased with gems and placed on an island. The Gemstone Island will only hold 20 gemstone dragons. If more space is wanted to either display gemstone dragons or earn more gems it is possible to purchase gemstone habitats in the market. These start at 150 gems for the first two and increase with every one or two purchases by an increasing number of gems. It soon becomes uneconomic to purchase gem habitats using gems as it will be years before the gemstone dragons recoup the purchase price. Players who have most other items in the game, will use a wish for Gemstone Habitats.
Goody’s Treatery/Goody’s Sugar Shack.
If one is owned, it can give three treats daily to three friends. If both are owned, they can give six treats daily to six friends.
Islands.
Generally, the most expensive island available to purchase in the park is selected. Check where the island will be placed – they are all placed in a specific place and not next to wherever the last island is in the park.
The Megatat, Lost Island, Expanded Lost Island, Lost Island of Olympus and Expanded Lost Island of Olympus are all available in the wish market. The Omegatat is not available in the Wish Market.
MaGoody’s Magical Greenhouse.
The Magical Greenhouses produce treats that can be collected every 23 hours. The number of treats it produces depends on the level of the park. It is possible to own two MaGoody's Magical Greenhouses.
Monument of the Epics/Relic of the Epics.
If one is owned, Epic dragons can be levelled up to level 15. If both are owned, Epic dragons can be levelled up to Level 20. Higher level dragons earn more DC and they have an increased breeding chance.
Omnitat Habitat.
These do not count towards the park habitat limit and can house almost any dragon. They also have a high DC cap.
Prismatic Pantheon.
This allows the colour to be turned off in the park. Or, to only have some items in colour. This is especially useful when looking for flag bearers or items/gifts scattered around the park during an event.
Relic of the Epics/Monument of the Epics.
If one is owned, Epic dragons can be levelled up to level 15. If both are owned, Epic dragons can be levelled up to Level 20. Higher level dragons earn more DC and they have an increased breeding chance.
Reward Habitats.
These do not count towards the park habitat limit and can be a good way to obtain a Surface or other habitat that would normally cost gems.
Twilight Tower.
This allows a player to change the sky in the park and depending on which theme is selected, it changes the in game time settting. Eg Dusk will always be night-time for breeding. This is useful if trying to breed a dragon that requires a particular time of day for breeding.
Weather Station.
This allows a player to change the weather in the park. This is useful if a certain weather pattern is required to be able to breed or evolve a dragon.
Much Wanted/Must Have Dragon.
It is usually not recommended to use a wish on a dragon as all dragons come back eventually. Or they are given with the daily check-in reward. But, there is no right or wrong way to use a wish. In 100 days, there will be another one awarded.
Note - With the exception of Islands, Dragonsai Gifting Tree/Bush and Gemstone Habitats the other items have been available during an event, but there is no guarantee that they will be offered again in future events.
