Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of our player’s assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on March 9th. At the end of the event, your feedback will be passed on to Deca. I will be combining the Forum and Discord feedback together and submitting it to Deca under the title of both communities.

Cupido 1. 3/5 I like the lightning but there’s something a bit unsettling about Cupido out of its cloud. 2. 2/5 A little stingy with the trait. 3. 5/5 No complaints size wise. 4. 1/5 Lots of complaints price wise. 5. 5/5 Perfect fit. 6. 3/5 It’s a clever design but, while I don’t want dragons to be wearing clothes, Cupido looks to be sitting naked in an armchair. Sorry 🤷♀️ 7. 2/5 Both parents are difficult to breed so the combo doesn’t seem very fair. 8. 3/5 I honestly can’t decide whether I love it or hate it so had to settle for a 3.
7. How would you rate Cupido’s breeding combo (STONEHEART + SWEETHEART) : 3 Both parents have a locked combo to breed them and Sweetheart needs Stoneheart in its combo. Not a very nice combo for newer players who are still trying to breed the event dragons.

9. Comments / feedback for Deca : I like the floating cloud bed and when the bed starts to sink Cupido blows hot air underneath to make it rise again. But unsure of the purpose of the lightning bolt. It would be nice if Cupido could stay within his card on the Dragonarium. Disappointed that Cupido loses most of his traits from a baby to adult - it could do with more as an adult. Too expensive for an event with not as much opportunity to earn event currency. The breeding hint is OK - two Aura dragons to make another Aura dragon, although Stoneheart requires Melancholy to breed first. This is not how I picture a cute, lovable Cupid dragon. I’m not sure if it is the colours, but I agree with esme that there is something unsettling about this dragon.
1. Stiff and unsettling. Someone at discord noticed some unfortunate implications like he's farting out a lightning bolt or coughing up a lung. 2
2. My god. More rushed traiting. I felt like they literary mess up on traiting the adult. The baby has the heart, hair and wings raited while the adult just has the hair? I wonder if they were just rushing at this point. 0.1 1.
3. Cupid's small. I think this is one of the dragons that should be smaller. 2

1. Animation: 2 I don't like the somewhat human-like animation of reaching out for its tail and otherwise feels very still. None of the animations are objectively low quality, though.
2. Rift trait: 1 H A I R D Y E In actuality, I think the baby's trait is nice, but suddenly the adult removes half of the stuff that the baby already had traited to make something incredibly underwhelming.
3. Size: 4 It feels like something that would be mid-sized, and indeed it is.
4. Price: 1 The second limited of the event shouldn't be more expensive than many final event limiteds.
5. How well does Cupido fit the theme: 5 It sits on a cloud and is love-related. Won't get more lovely and dreamy than that.
6. Design details: 3 Not too bad, it isn't overly detailed and has some nice stuff but nothing that stands out.

8. How much do you like Cupido: 2 It's not terrible, but this dragon has enough flaws that I dislike it quite a bit.

It’s not a bad breeding combo, but for new or returning players, they’re not going to have a regular and / or traited Stoneheart and / or Sweetheart. And it’ll take a while to breed those two parent dragons. Players will have to decide if it’s worth purchasing Stoneheart, Sweetheart, or Cupido. Or wait until next year.
My secondary park is still trying to breed a traited Sweetheart in the Rift, even though Cupido left two days ago — I guess I should tell it to give up.

Yeah, so this is an odd one. It looks passably okay in the image when it’s lounging in its chariot cloud chair, but when Cupido rises, it’s still in a sitting position (❓❔❓). Why? It’s strange that its legs and tail doesn’t move. The human form gives the impression that Cupido forgot his Cupid-style nappy / diaper and is floating around naked.
It would’ve been far better and more interesting if the baby didn’t look exactly like the adult, only 50% smaller.

I think Cupido is trying to be cute and graceful, but it kind of comes across as bland and occasionally uncanny. When it flies out of its cloud, it feels stiff and looks uncomfortably bare and humanoid? If that makes sense. Not the worst dragon, I just find it underwhelming. It's like a mediocre combination of the Spritely and Nimbus dragons, with some uncanny valley anthropomorphism thrown in.
2. Rift trait: 2, although I prefer traits that are not all over the entire dragon, this one is just too subtle for me.

9. Comments: I like the idea of a Cupid dragon, but I just cannot get myself to like this one. The throne like chair and the lightening bolt are acceptable to me, but I think the seemingly naked body which looks like a little human baby is kind of creepy. Why can’t the dragon be more cute like it’s parent sweetheart, or even stoneheart; and instead of sitting on the chair, be lying on a cloud while holding its bow and arrow. 🤷♀️💘

CUPIDO DRAGON
1. Animation - 1 - It's really weird, kinda like it's plucked out of its bed, breaks free and then drops back in. Lightning bolts from underneath, it's tail is like a gear shift that it can't quite reach.
2. Rift trait - 2 - rift traits are lost on adult
3. Size (if you don’t own Cupido, please check a friend’s park) - 3
4. Price (15,500 Roses) - 1 - alot of roses that are really hard to come by in this game. Luckily I bred it at the end and bought a pedestal. This is not one I will have 2 of.

6. Design details - 1 - it just has a weird vibe and I really don't like to watch its movements.
7. How would you rate Cupido’s breeding combo (STONEHEART + SWEETHEART) - 2 - Was really glad I had the parents in my park. Was not able to breed one in rift despite having both parents.

1. 2 2. 1 3. 4 4. 2 5. 4 6. 3 7. 3 8. 2 9. Too pricey and odds too low for a limited. I never got the rift version even though I used several hundred thousand of E and every single attempt for it the whole week. I am not a fan of the design or colors of this one.
1. Animation: 3 I gave it 3 instead of 2 because it gave me a laugh. I'm the one who thought it looked like he had flatulence issues that exploded into a lightning bolt. I think I was waiting for him to throw an arrow or something and then this lightning bolt came from 'the cloud'. Initially I was watching the animation in the Dragonarium and I was confused by his fire breathing animation. I thought he was biting something? or barking? coughing? Then I realized it was probably supposed to have fire, so I watched on the island and sure enough, there he was, spewing fire all over his friends. I also wish he changed positions somehow, but I'm glad he leaves the cloud so I can actually see him completely sometimes.
2. Rift trait: 3 Cool dude. It does feel like he just dyed his hair. Maybe could have gone in the heart tail too?
3. Size: 5 Looks good to me
4. Price (15,500 Roses): 2 Again, we have a lot going on this event, so all the newbies probably should have been lower.
5. How well does Cupido fit the theme: 4 for Valentine's. But I feel like a Cupid dragon should have had a bow/arrow creatively incorporated. Arrows shooting from the cloud? Tossing them with his tail?
6. Design details: 4 Detail-wise, this dragon is pretty good. I like the laurel leaf horn detail and the front paws are cute. But the dragon is too upright and human for my personal taste. Somehow the chest region bothers me.
7. Combo (STONEHEART + SWEETHEART): 4 Just fine, but a candy heart dragon makes sense too

9. Comments: His main redeeming quality for me is he doesn't have weird skinny human arms and hands. But I'm not a fan of humanoid dragons. However, when I need a laugh, I can go watch him fart and cough on his friends. (Sorry guys)
