LUMINEUX DRAGON
1. Animation - 5/5 - lovely motions, love the curving arched wings encircling the dragon and protecting. Love that she seems to settle down and sleep after she has spread her protection.
2. Size - 5/5 fits well with others
3. Price (10,500 Roses) - 4/5 - less than some others but still high
4. How well does Lumineux fit the theme - 5/5 - perfectly, creating warm glow so others can sleep & dream
5. Design details - 5/5 - gorgeous dragon! Congratulations to the artist that designed her! Loved both the original creation and DECA’s additions. Do agree with other valers who preferred the original hand design. Beautiful use of colors and different colors than other dragons so she stands out well. Really like the arched wings that encircle and protect and the beautiful designs on them. Like that she seems to settle down and sleep. Like the idea that she protects. She is a lovely classic dragon and a beautiful addition to Dragonvale.

Have been meaning to comment and keep forgetting to mention how much i LOVE LOVE LOVE the egg designs since you have taken dragonvale on. The eggs have been just works of art with wonderful colors and designs. Stunning eggs! I LOVE to collect & display them now. 👏🏻😃

Lumineux is now a Dream dragon in my park. Shows the Dream, Fire, Lightning, and Plant elements. I would imagine the breeding combo might have changed too. The pedestal still shows a Light element base. Does anyone have any information about the change?

LUMINEAUX DRAGON:

6. Breeding Combo (Love + dream element) = 4
7. Do I Like It? = 4.5 This is one of my favorite dragons of this event, lagging only slightly behind the Orlena Dragon.
8. I do love that they added Dream element to this dragon and a couple of others, it was one of my only real pet peeves of this event, so excellent move on DECA's part. Even though I like shandee's design a little bit more, the Lumineux dragon is still very well-patterned and well-colored, and fits this event perfectly, especially now being part-dream.

8. Comments / feedback for Deca (optional). Lumineux has a lovely color, but the animation doesn’t seem to match its descriptive story. It’s supposed to emit a warm aura of protection, I don’t see this.

The wings don’t move enough, so I really like it when Lumineux raises its wings above its body. It takes on a completely different form. I wish there was more wing movement.

Adding the dream element really improves this breeding combo, but I’m not sure why the light element was removed, instead of plant. This is the Nightlight dragon. Of all its primary elements, the light element matched Lumineux the most.

I love Shandee’s original Nightlight dragon, and Deca did a wonderful job interpreting it. I like the pattern on the wings and the elongated horns. But I don’t care for the baby arms that were attached to Lumineux; it doesn’t fit the dragon.
The wings are the highlight feature of Nightlight and Lumineux. Nightlight’s wings look like curtains, but Lumineux’s wings are stiff and seem awkward, as if the wings are impeding the dragon and preventing its mobility. It would’ve been nice to see the wings collapse or move in the wind. But I absolutely love the inner glow of this dragon; it is warm and inviting. Lumineux is a complete winner!

8. Comments / feedback for Deca (optional) Shandee came up with such an inventive idea for a dragon! It’s SO beautiful. DECA didn’t have to do much to it. The only thing that bothers me are the wings. They’re not flexible at all. They look like they’re made of wood. I don’t see how this dragon can fly.
