You’ve analysed and examined every aspect of each event dragon, now let us know which Sweet Dreams dragons brought the loveliness to your Valentine’s Day.
If you’re new to the polls and voting on the Forum, here are some helpful tips:
1. You must be a member to vote. This is a restriction by ProBoards and cannot be altered. An account is required to keep track of votes and to prevent multiple votes by anonymous guests.
2. When you vote, it is automatically recorded. There’s no Submit button. Backing out or clicking away from the thread will not undo your vote.
3. If you accidentally vote for a dragon or warm up to another dragon later, you have until March 9th to change your vote.
4. The poll will close on March 9th at 11.00 PM MST.
Also, in addition to the dragon ratings, I’ve started to include player feedback for the event. So, if you have any comments, suggestions, complaints, or compliments regarding the event mechanics, features, etc, please post it here, and I’ll pass it on.
Many thanks to you for all your time and consideration!

I don’t really like the four new dragons in the market either. At least make their cloning odds way better. I’m also getting tired of the 1% cloning for all the new limiteds. A lot of the new dragons have many breeding fails that are really long so the breeding and cloning % should be higher since we only have a week to breed it.
It's hard to choose a favorite because I liked a lot of the dragons in this event. But after giving it some thought, I decided to go with Buttercup, Lullaby and Lumineux.
I guess I was one of the lucky ones because I managed to clone/breed almost every dragon I wanted. I cloned Buttercup, Orlena, Lumineux, Lullaby and Lightmare. The only dragons I had to buy were Mesmer and Astraline. There was no grinding for event currency. I breed/cloned what I wanted and had plenty of currency leftover at the end for habitats.
I loved the event because it was so creative and new. The idea of a sweet dreams event is lovely. So really, I have no complaints. Well, no, there is one. Cupido. Because that thing was so horrendous and ugly you couldn't pay me to have it in my park. But aside from that, I really enjoyed the event.

#1: Orlena
#2: Lumineux
#3: Australia
Feedback: Overall, a solid selection of new dragons introduced. My biggest and only real pet peeve was that for an event called "Sweet Dreams", there was only one dream-element dragon (Astralia), and none of the other dream-element dragons were available (Not even Snooz). I hope that this next Spring event has new dragons more consistent with the background theme.

Comments / feedback for Deca (optional) - I have only been able to breed 4 of the 8 dragons in this event, which means I've had to buy them with roses. I'm not very good at eggy hatchy, which means I don't like to play it. Looking in my dragonarium, excluding ghostly dragons, these are the only dragons I will only have one of. Orlena is the only one I have been able to breed in rift . Long breed times leading to long incubation times for a not targeted dragon for me meant not being involved in playing the game as much. So for me the breeding of the dragons in this event has been terrible. Here's hoping for more luck and enjoyment in the next one.
Orlena could have been an interesting gateway into Alice in Wonderland type dream dragons, but alas, we got a mish-mash of auras. While I was expecting auras because it IS a Valentine event, I think every player was anticipating some actual dream element dragons (making Astraline dream after the fact doesn’t count). In that respect, this event was a let down. I’m incredibly curious what conversations were had on this subject and why the decision was made to specifically avoid new and returning dream dragons. Having said that… I feel like including a market full of Dream AND Auras would have been overwhelming. Still, some of the newbies should really have included the dream element. Dream habitats for event currency and a return of that beautiful dream island theme would have made sense too.
I’ll also add that I love that Dreamcloud decoration. I was really surprised and touched that Lightmare has a corresponding Dreamcatcher decoration (which is also not dream element… or Moon).
Dream is my favourite element in the game, so I was pretty hyped for this event. But there has been a disappointing amount of dream element content in this event.
The two dragons designed by fans from the All About Dreams community contest (Lumineux and Lightmare) lost their dream element in their transition to the game, for whatever reason.
As a nitpick, the new Dreamcloud and Dreamcatcher decorations also aren't Dream element for whatever reason?
Dream habitats, decorations, the dream island theme, and limited dream dragons weren't available to buy in the event market, even though the event is called Sweet DREAMS. Including those things in the event would offer more incentives for players to play and purchase event currency (especially the expensive dream habitats for dragoncash farmers).
Out of the eight new dragons introduced, only one was dream element (Astraline), even though half of them or more could've easily fit as dream dragons thematically (Lightmare, Lumineux, Lullaby, maybe Mesmer too).
Ultimately this was just an average Valentines event with a dream-related name pasted on. It wasn't horrible, I just feel disappointed that my expectations were misled. I feel like Deca could've changed the event up a bit more from last year's Valentines event by including more Dream element content in this event that they decided to name Sweet Dreams.
I found it very difficult to breed the dragons in this event, using up to 15000 E in the rift and all 3 caves and getting no return. The odds were far too low
i can’t say which is my favorite dragon because i don’t have them all (from this event only)in my park to compare. i can say that i find cupido to be the worst of all dragonvale designs. ever.
i’ve been playing almost from the beginning, certainly since the first event (light n dark) which i remember as delightful, and i no longer remember every one, however i feel strongly this has been the least fun of Deca’s events for the following reasons:
- breeding odds (in my park) were abysmal -too many long fails - no twins (in my park, bred or rec’d) - even the rift failed to provide useful results -event currancy accumulated insufficient to purchase all new prizes
i’ve decided to forgo the decos and hope to be able to pick them up in the future (assuming i will still be playing in the future, i don’t think i can get through another grueling grind like this event)
trying to find something positive to say: i did enjoy egg hatchy and managed to finish each level, although there were a few days at the very last minute (stress!)
i would really, really like to see some sort of breeding odds adjustment. i cant continue to play the game, put in the time, without a better payoff.
i know nothing about coding or game creation, but there must be a way to up the breeding odds. or create an “undo” button for a bad or long fail. the undo button in egg hatchy is one of my favorite features, brilliant.
I totally agree with debby. I could not pick a fave as I really lost interest in this event. This is a breeding game and I did not breed one event dragon. With 700 dragons the breeding percentages are too low.
This event has been a tad stressful for me, with low breeding and cloning odds, and long fails. I had to buy 2 of the event dragons. Although able to breed all the limiteds, I was not able to breed both traited and non-traited, and most without pedestals.
With a total of 8 dragons, and not many ways to collect event currency, it is not easy to be able to acquire everything in the boutique, especially all the large habitats are my most desirable items.
Nice of them to offer the habitats though.
Eggy Hatchy is a fun alternative for collecting event currency, but it needs some brainwork and some random luck. So it can be a little stressful, especially when time is limited and one can only play 5 tickets at a time. It would be nice if the points are easier to get, or they increase the amount of roses awarded. There were boards that require 4 level 3 eggs and a total of 35,000+ points! I think in the past, the reward for completion of the tall towers was 1,200, plus a decoration. This time, it’s only 500.
I like not having to collect items, only to find Gardenia and the reward is pretty decent.
Really appreciate Deca listening to the players and added the dream element to a number of the dragons!
I am hoping for a nice break before the next event. I do need time to rearrange and redecorate. 🙏

Favs were: Lumineux, Lightmare & Orlena
LOVE ❤️ Egg hatchy ! Have a ball with it and love getting those special dragons. Would love it if we had more time off between events. Egg designs are fabulous, more beautiful than we have ever seen before! Thank you so much for the lovely Bellflower dragon and the beautiful decoration. Was so nice of you to make them gifts! 🎁 🥰 Thanks so much for taking this wonderful game on and keeping it going so well, and for being so nice to care what we think. 👍🏻😃

My favorites were Lightmare and Astraline. I enjoyed the event overall. I feel like eggy hatchy has become fun as I’ve invested more time and become more familiar with it. The breeding odds and prices for dragons were tough this lap, which robs some of the joy of playing… a bit frustrating. I’m so very grateful for the forum and all the effort that is invested in it to build a wonderful community. Well done gang, and many thanks to you.
My favorite dragon was lightmare. Interestingly enough it was the most difficult for me to breed. Perhaps there's a connection...the more elusive the more desired. More likely I just think it's a beautiful dragon.
I pretty much liked all the dragons.
Thanks Deca for awesome dragons and fun events.
I appreciated only having to find Gardenia for a decent reward. And all the habitats were a wonderful surprise.
However, I don't like eggy hatchy at all. Supposedly there is some logic to it, but to me a lot of the egg hatching results are just random and nonsensical.
This event was difficult and I do think the breeding odds need to be adjusted a tad. And the long fails are tiresome. But there were more pros than cons and all in all I had fun and enjoyed the event.
Thanks again Deca and thanks for being open to feedback. I appreciate that a lot.
And a big thanks for the Bellflower dragon and the deco.
I haven’t had a chance to put all my thoughts together and am yet to feedback on the individual dragons, but for the first time since restarting a year ago, I didn’t manage to get all the dragons. I found the breeding percentages low, the dragons expensive, and the combinations really tough especially Masque but also Sweetheart to some degree - I can’t imagine how it would feel to a newer player
However, I do love the initial new dragons, I voted for Lumineaux, Lightmare, and Buttercup. I was less enthused about the limited ones, they didn’t really look like dragons, you know? (Exclude Astraline, she’s gorgeous and #4 on my list)
