A query about daily reward epic and rare eggs. I have 9 dragons left to breed (plus those in this event). I would love to be rewarded with long-standing missing dragons via daily rewards. However, I wonder am I as likely to be rewarded current event dragons (which I have not yet bred) as the long-standing missing dragons. I would obviously prefer the long-standing missing dragons.

From memory, current event dragons do not join the ‘pool’ of rewards until their event is over, so I think you’re safe for now!

Since the Chrysalis dragons are in the event market, here’s the breeding guide to obtain all 17 Chrysalis dragons.
THE BREAKDOWN: You will need at least 5 Chrysalis dragons to breed all 17 dragons in the Chrysalis collection. From the outer circle, acquire 3 of the 5 base dragons. Be sure all 3 dragons are not next to each other (e.g., Duskwing, Chrysalis, Marbletail = 👍. Duskwing, Chrysalis, Swallowtail = 👎). In addition, you will need Starwing with a dark trait and Prism with a light trait.

So the only way to obtain Generation 1 dragons is to purchase an EOM or purchase with event currency? Unfortunately, I need three from Gen 1 ☹️
You can also get them in the rift with the Chrysalis egg of mystery...at least the gen 1s are cheap!

I am on the side of it NOT becoming permanent. I would much rather use event currency to purchase it once, than spend untold amounts of gems to speed it up over the coming years.
Would Deca let us vote on it, or take a Pole in the Plaza, yay or nay to TR becoming permanent ?
That’s an interesting idea! Let players vote and decide if it’s permanent or limited. You’d have to ask adlerist if they’d do something like that.

I really like the idea a lot, but I doubt Deca would have enough time to develop a poll, implement it, and complete it before the event ends. They would’ve needed to work on it before the event started.
Backflip did something similar years ago. They used the Poll Plaza and let players vote on different aspects of a dragon, like its head shape, body design, colour scheme, etc. It was extremely well done and thought out, and a very interesting way to include players in the dragon designing process. This is how we got the Fury dragon.
On paper, the concept was brilliant. But sadly it did not go over well. Players on Reddit were very upset the designs they voted for didn’t win, and the designs that were incorporated into Fury were their least favourite. In the end, letting players see all the options for the dragon, only lead to players lamenting 'what could have been' if their selections won.
It wasn’t a good experience for Backflip, so they never repeated it. I think letting players vote for the permanent / limited status of Triple Rainbow could have similar results. There are too many players with different preferences, so there’s always going to be a group that’ll feel disappointed and let down.

Thank you for the amazing event thread adlerist and the spring story. The forum looks great - I love all the green and the songs are fabulous. The Cat in the Hat rainbow song is a bit of fun.
I got a kick out of that too! I love Dr. Seuss! I think my fave song is the Lucky Charms jingle. 😂 That really made me laugh!
adlerist in this post the leprechaun tricked people into following the wrong rainbow so they couldn’t find their pot of gold. Is this part of the leprechaun story? I know they’re shoemakers, but I haven’t heard the switching rainbows part before.

Leprechauns are tricksters, but who knows how they trick people. I only selected the rainbow to incorporate the Triple Rainbow dragon.

The Triple Rainbow dragon completely delivers on the magic of a triple rainbow.

What a perfectly delicious design with bright candy colours (Skittles — taste the rainbow), and a striped body that blends with the purple and white candy canes.
Since we love contests and fun on the Forum, and there’s been lots of talk about this dragon, I’ll send triple the gems and triple the treats to anyone who twins (or triplets?) a Triple Rainbow with this one. It’s currently blue-hearted in the Coopertive.

It’s not too bad. You only need 5 dragons total to breed the entire collection. You can buy some Chrysalis mystery eggs and purchase the rest from the event market. The Chrysalis dragons are permanent, so you don’t have to breed them now if there’s other dragons you need from the event.
I was able to buy the 1 Primary Chrysalis egg that was missing by using Etherium for Eggs of Mystery, but had to buy 14 eggs to get the one I wanted. Lots of duplicates between 1 and 14 that ended up being very expensive and almost bankrupted my stash.

Oh my, no worries my dear ☺️ The comment/ question about a poll for TR wasn’t directed toward you, just thrown out there. 🌈 I don’t remember the polling for dragon design, it must have been during that 9 months I stopped playing. It does make perfect sense though, half the pollsters would definitely be disappointed. This is a decision much better left to Deca.

Has anyone bred a rifted Hyperion yet? I have been tying since it came out up to 10,000 etherium (15,000 sometimes) in my two parks and no luck so far. I have the regular and twin versions and the pedestal but the rifted one is really eluding me.

Wow. It’s a good thing I am OCD about getting event currency, I’m going to need it. I have had absolutely no luck getting anything since Mesmer. Didn’t get anything during dragon week either.
Consider this a whine for Hyperion, cloning event dragons, or getting dragons I don’t have in the rift. Here koa, koa, koalas.
Are the Runic caves supposed to reset the breeding cost each day?
Hmm, don’t know if that made sense lol. I have a habit of speeding up anything less than 5 hours in my park. I’m not always able to pop in multiple times a day, and I don’t like my caves to just sit there with hearts ♥️ I’ve been speeding up the Runic caves, but now it’s gotten to 3 hours costing me 25ish gems. I can’t afford that 😳.
So are the caves going to reset to 1 gem per hour again?

There seems to be a graphic layering problem with the Hidden Theme. The pillars at the left edge are rendered behind items on the adjacent island. If I attached a screenshot to this post correctly you will see the Dreamcloud perched on top of the column from the Hidden Theme on the next island over and the flags appear in front of another column instead of behind. If this drawing behavior is deliberate, it sure looks funny. The issue has been reported to DECA.

Thank you! I’ve provided Deca with this image so they can see where the layering issues are occurring. There are similar problems with several of their themes (e.g., Autumn, Polar Bear), so hopefully they can work on all their themes.

This is an ongoing bug with the RBCs that has been around since the inception of the RBCs under Backflip. The caves are suppose to reset, but for some players the caves reset late, and for others it doesn’t reset at all. There’s also inconsistencies. A park can have a cave reset, while other caves reset later. And if you have multiple parks, one park can have caves that reset, while the other park’s caves do not reset or reset late.
I haven’t been able to figure out a pattern or a cause for the bug; it seems a bit complicated and varies greatly from park to park. So, I’m not sure if/when Deca will be able to fix it. But it has been reported to them, and it is on their list of known issues.

I’m happy to report my whine worked and I have a successful clone in the co-op. I’m not sure whining is the way to achieve things in life, but it seems to have worked this time. Don’t tell my kids.

Success. I finally bred a plain old regular Pouke, no traits this time. Now I can finally put CocoCream to bed and let my new Pouke frolic with the others.
