I play an online multiplayer game on my gaming laptop. Been playing it for...over 3.5 years now. Usually play in the evenings when I'm watching TV shows. Now I just keep my iPad near by and pop over to it to collect coins while I wait out hatching and incubation timers.
Best part about the online game, is that I've met some of the people I play it with in person and we are now "real life" friends as well as gaming buddies. Worst part has been getting used to calling them by their REAL name in public and not their game name. Afterall...talking on the metro might give you weird looks if you call someone "MysticalNinja" or "KrittyCat" etc.
I'm so jealous that you must live somewhat close to your online buddies. Haha on the names, but that is how we know them!
Somewhat close being the operative words. I've been trying to meet on friend for a couple years but hasn't worked out yet with my visits back home to the US...I'm on the east coast when I'm there and she's in California. Another friend I met lives 3 hrs drive from my parents place. Several others in Europe fly or train in for a long weekend at my house...apparently they really love my cooking but totally come cause they adore my dog...oh yeah I'm in there too, just "last" in pecking order LOL.

Sounds wonderful. Nice to know your place in life, lol.
The only other game I play consistently is pocket frogs

Me too! But lately I've just been keeping up with the new sets. I need to get back to my Froggdex which is currently at 50%. PM me if you want to add me so I can send you froggies. I like to send frogs but it's hard to know what people need. You could pm me with ones you need and if I have it, I'll send it.

I've tried a lot of the FB games, but get bored with them after a bit. I even tried the Dragon one that is a knockoff of DragonVale, but poorly done and very glitchy. I'm not impressed.
My favorite game of all time, though was/is MOUL (Myst Online URU Live) It was great when the content was current. I miss it.

I used to play a lot of different games. And then I found Dragonvale.
But, honestly, I still do sneak onto these, when I can't take looking at my breeding dragons for one more second. Most of the ones I actually kept were Backflip games, so staying in the "family" I guess.
Glowbugs - Avoid other Glowbugs, water, Venus flytraps and more! Basically, a "how long will you survive?" game.
Paper Toss II - be immature for the rest of your life! Throw paper balls, fruit, gernades, staplers, and more into the trashcan and annoy your coworkers! Very amusing.
Paper Toss World Tour - toss paper into trashcans around the world.
Hamster Ball & Going - basically like a free versions of Tiny Wings, except with ships. And hamsters.
Ninjump - another survive till you die sort of game.
Monster Life - excellent 3-D engine. Raise monsters and battle with them. Supports many languages! (Even Italian!)
Doodle Bowling - if you like those bowling games. But everything looks like it has been doodled. The pins, ball, etc.
10 Pin Shuffle - another bowling game, but with nicd 3-D pins to look at. And you collect cards. It's kinda complicated to explain...
Pocket Frogs - mentioned here a couple of times. Breed frogs. A little slow, and if you're anything like me you want an ESCAPE from breeding games.
Tiny Monsters. DragonVale with monsters, and not quite as sophisticated. Takes longer, since (in my opinion) it's harder to make money. Again, NOT recommend if you're looking for a DragonVale rest cure.
My Horse - nice 3-D horse to struggle to take care of. Kinda stopped playing after I realized I couldn't leave it alone for a long period of time, but it's a pretty good game.
Magic Piano - you basically tap the circles and make music. It's hard to explain.
Ocarina 2 - Basically turns you device into a musical instrument! But you have to hold down on circles and blow into the microphone, and I wouldn't recommend playing it on the iPad. It's hard and awkward when people walk in on you.
Fruit Ninja - slice fruits in half.
All of the above are free to download, but most are freemium or pay to remove ads games. As you can see, I'm pretty willing to try anything, as long as its free to download. Sorry about the massive list... I seriously thought this would only be few entries long when I first started typing.
Moving on to websites - just kidding. I think this is quite long enough already.
I randomly send gems/treats if I have any leftover. No obligation to return anything.

Thanks for the rec on My Horse. My granddaughter loves horses and am looking at it for her.
So, first one here is Words with Friends (it's like Scrabble). You can look it up in the App Store, but I don't want to post a link to it. I don't do Facebook, but you can make a userid for the game and hook up that way. I've got a few friends here to play with. But I'd like to invite others to start games with me, cuz I'm out of work right now and easily bored! So if you're interested, I'd love it if y'd invite me to a game! Look me up in the game under my username (not Facebook), which is the same as my GCID- .TommyB. Like that, with the periods on both sides. Yay!
Do u still play words with friends? I sent you an invite.

Picked up Guild Wars 2 in addition to my other MMO. GW2 I've done most of it solo (so far) while on my other game the "big" things I need to have a group to do it with so for me it's a nice mix. ie when I want to be around people and when I'd rather just chat w/people but run around solo.
