I’m a modern board gamer. I’ve got 367 plays of games for the year, so already reached one of my goals to make at least 1 play per day. I play a lot of Carcassone, Arboretum, The Mind and The Game during my lunch breaks at work. Aeon’s End, Marvel Legendary, Gloomhaven have gotten a lot of plays during the year. I have not played enough of Terraforming Mars, Everdell, Dinogenics or Wingspan in 2020.
For those here who play the Runaway games (Splash, Flutter, Starlight etc.): I will no longer be playing those games. Thank you for all the in-game gifts! 😊

Ive decided to let the Flutter and Starlight games go, too... Thanks for the friend gifts over time, they were nice light games 😊 But I have a home to get ready for sale: I am running away to Dunedin, away from the ever increasing heat, droughts and humidity here in the north island of Nz.

i havent found any games like dragonvale but some very similar, Tap Tap Fish (also known as Abyssrium) its a game where you have a rock and get fish they don't do anything bu swim around and make vitality (it think this is the money of the game) anyways you do what ever you like in the game and its mostly just a beautiful game to look at. disclaimer if you are a competitionist don't start playing this game, it is impossible to get old fish

Heya, I've decided to look back through my activity log in Facebook since I have no life as of this writing I've rediscovered another Dragon Breeding game I've played before.
That game is called Dragon Pals which shut down in the same year I've started playing. If I knew this would happen, I shouldn't waste spending money on it. If I really did. (I don't remember)
I wonder if anyone in the forums ever played the game before...
Here's an album of the screenshots I've preserved two years ago.:

Has anyone here tried playing AI Dungeon? I started playing it a couple days ago and I'm totally hooked! I must have spent ten hours playing it one day, then eight hours the next. I'm you're classic gamer girl and I've done marathon gaming in the past, so it's nothing unusual for me. Just gotta take a break once in a while for food, DragonVale and the occasional trip to the loo. 😁

Curious question. Has anyone here tried playing Bird Alone?
I heard that it's quite popular, so I recently decided to give it a try. I confess this is the first time I've spent real money on an app. You'd think that wouldn't be the case, having spent so many years on DragonVale. So with that in mind, you know it has to be good. At least by my standards anyway. Because I rarely stick with a game for more than a day or two, and usually I don't spend money on them at all.
But yeah, it's a cute little game where you befriend a lonely bird. Then you grow a musical garden with him, write poetry, and draw pictures. This little bird chatters about various topics throughout the day when you visit him. He's the sweetest thing and he absolutely loves the player.
It's meant to be played for a few minutes each day. So it's good for adults who have work and family. Of course, I usually check in on him frequently, just to listen to him talk.
Just thought I'd throw that one out there. Curious to see if anyone else has tried this game.

Does anyone here play Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
I've been playing for a while now and would like some friends for occasional island visits. Currently in the process of decorating my island for Halloween. Sorry, no villagers to offer. I love my little critters, so they're staying with me. 💙💕💜

I’m playing both the butterfly day and moth night games;would love additional friends to share gifts with: Kath Cameron on fakebook ( nomdeplume 😈 if anyone wants another 🦋sharing pal
I finally decided it might be a good idea to read the FAQs for each game lol
I have one butterfly which breeds free eggs, and tripled it, love the sound of your plain tiger special ability! I agree about the up and downsizing, and butterflies with abilities I’m not interested in are the ones I store
In the moth nighttime game the decorations have special abilities, and apparently a new one is available in the shop at the beginning of each week...so,I’ll be watching that
Adding new friends to butterfly sanctuary using their new friends system. If still playing, will you add me ? Code: 48DH. Still playing DragonVale but missing the pretty butterflies
been playing another dragon collecting game called Dragon Village Collection. I've gotten some of the players on discord to try it out. It's more focused on collecting rather than decorating but I still find it fun. A lot of the designs are really neat imo. I do warn it's not as f2p as Dragonvale.

You have Pure Bread, Mayo, and Eggwrap. Where is the Globwich in this game?!
Dragon Village Collection looks delicious!
(I found it hilarious that Chikipea is eating a globwich on the new loading screen image. Surely, Glob would’ve been the perfect addition to the picnic picture.)

Due to a potential limit on the number of friends a player can have before issues arise in the game, I will only be able to add Forum members. Thank you, for your understanding, and please consider joining us!

I have SO MANY of those sandwich dragons (they're called Egg Mayo 😆) I'll make sure to name one Globwich
