I play The Room as well, but although I've been able to proceed, it's been challenging at times. That's a good thing I guess so at least it's not over too quickly.
I'm looking for people with origin accounts that play theme park to add to my friend list. I'm trying to hire all my remaining staff and my current friends already hold positions so I'm stuck. My origin account ID is the same as my GCID.
Other games I strongly recommend are: Nihilumbra, Nick Chase series, and the Drawn series.
I like the Drawn series. I'll have to look for Nihilumbra.
Nihilumbra was featured awhile back on the App Store for its outstanding art work. It's a really cool game, you start off as a little blob in a void type world that lacks color, as you progress through the game you get colors that each have a unique ability and are needed to move along. The game isn't super long but very enjoyable along the way.
So I'm still really enjoying this Clash of Clans game. It has elements of park-building (encampment), and some elements of competition (but the only thing you ever lose is resources), and definite strategy. I see some of you are on my friends list there, so obviously some of you have the game. If you rebuild your clan castle in the game, you may then join a clan. So you're all encouraged to rebuild your clan castle and then let me know so you can join my clan (Fweebaww).
I just saw that the Final Fantasy Tactics app for iPad went on sale today 50%. It's still expensive, but less so. Did anyone play that game on Playstation (first gen) way back when?
To those of you who are playing Happy Street: please stop challenging your friends from that game. It seems to send the challenge to every friend, whether or not they have Happy Street, and is spamming my gamecenter feed.
Thank you.
myke - I played the heck out of FFT, and picked up the FFTA games for gameboy and the DS, as well. Great strategy series, though I'd be a bit wary about whether they properly optimized it for a touch interface.
I agree that a poorly implemented touch interface could be awful.
I still have a PS2 (the one I bought on PS2 Launch day) and have a copy of FFT, so no hurry to buy the one for the iPad.
Another kick-ass strategy RPG is Battleheart. It's a real-time game with a little bit of World of Warcraft thrown in: a 4-person party made up of a tank (who uses "threat" to control the attention of bad guys), a healer, and two DPSers. Each class has a talent tree that they can invest in as they level up.
It's pretty cool. And it's pretty cheap: 3$ I think.

I'll see your PS2 and raise you a Nintendo 64. My sister and I still play Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on it xD Bombchu Bowling and Longshots. Good times.

I have been playing the Lego series on the PS3. Lego Harry potter, Lego batman, Lego Indiana jones, Star Wars and the newest Lego lord of the rings. My husband and I have discussed how awesome a Lego Dr. Who would be.

Nintendo 64s? Wow. Cool.
Me I own a Wii & a 3DS. Good games on both. We are holding off on WiiU, dont see much of a point yet. I think we'll get one. Later.
As for apps I rlly dont have much. I used to play Jurassic Park Builder all the time. Recently I just stopped though and I dunno why. DV & classes take up me life, as well as writing and a huge project due soon. Aye aye aye...better get to work in the morning.

Kind of curious... does anyone here play Neopets? I worked there for several years, it used to be really popular but it doesn't seem like people talk about it these days =p
Also a big console player and nearly 9-year WoW raider.

I love Sudoku. I had a bunch of books for it, but never got through a single one :/ I also really enjoy another number style game called Ken-Ken. It uses the same concept as Sudoku, but you have to figure out the numbers through +, -, *, or /.

Interesting.
Lol I know it is addicting in a way. I'm always like 'Omg whats this number?! Its killing me!!" the suspense and intensity in an app...heehee

Sometimes I get so frustrated on a single number that I'll just guess the possible numbers for it. It won't be until I'm nearly done with the puzzle to see if it's right or wrong. Unfortunately with the use of pen and paper, a single miscalculation for me = Rage quit

Oh yeah pen/pencil and paper is hard. When we did it in the newspaper the erasing was hard. App is easier...by far. And not as frustrating

Mmm, I see.
At first I downloaded a lot of those Tap games (Tap Pet Hotel, Zoo, etc) and also Magic Zoo. Then of course came DragonVale. I loved Magic Zoo until they quit updating it. I kept leveling up and unlocking nothing. Got tired, deleted.
DragonVale was basically all I ever played after that. I stopped playin the Tap games because they became a huge waste of room on my iPod. Bye Tap games.
Also bought the Game of Life. I don't play it very much just with friends or when I'm insanely bored.
Then came Instagram which I toyed with a lot. Then came spamming. You know the 'repost or such and such happens'. Got sick of it, got back to DV'in!
DragonVale's kinda my apocalypse survivor in a way. It has been there throught removal after removal of a game.
