Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.

The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on April 27th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to Deca. I will be combining the Forum and Discord feedback together and submitting it under the title of both communities.

Please take a minute to rate the Luck of the Vale dragons from 1-5 for each category. You can either post your ratings and comments on this thread or message me. Thank you for participating, sharing your thoughts, and making this game even better with each dragon.

QUAA DRAGON

1. Animation - 4 Okay for an April Fool dragon. Looks like a dipping bird when it pecks the ground.

2. Rift trait - 5

3. Size - 4 A bit on the large size.

4. Price (13,500 Eggs) - 3 Annoyingly expensive, but mine was easy to breed.

5. How well does Quaa fit the theme - 3 Having a Quaa in my park probably qualifies as bad luck, but it still counts as Luck.

6. Design details - 5 Sine Quaa non. The goofy wall-eyed look is effective.

7. Breeding combo - 3 ZERO + PLAINS would have been nearer the mark.

8. Like - 2 Not a favorite, but pretty good for April Fool’s Day.

9. Comments - Noise abatement procedures (read: threats and intimidation) have worked pretty well on my Quaa.

7. Quaa’s breeding combo (WOODVINE + KROKI): 3.5/5 - Decently accessible gameplay-wise, but it doesn't fit Quaa thematically. Having a Dodo dragon or another avian dragon as one of the parents would be more fitting.

2. Rift trait: 5 Good placement and enough to see it, but not overpowering.

3. Size: 5 So big in a plant habitat haha.

5. Theme Fit: 4 I don't think of fools for April Fool's, just pranks. But I guess it works?

6. Design details: 5 The derpiness is just right. Love the shape. Love the crown feathers. Love the animations. Love the colours.

7. Breeding Combo: 3 The combo makes no sense, but it's doable.

8. How much do you like Quaa: 5 If I could give this bonus points, I would.

9. Comments: I can't express how much I love Quaa. 1000/5 for Derpiness. Thank you for making this derpy dragon. The info write up is cute too and the egg is nicely done.

I like the ‘dipping bird’ animation of Quaa, his ‘marching’ and the derpy look that he has. I like the amount of the rift trait and the placement. Quaa is too big. I’ve had to move him from sharing a habitat with Arcrider, who is too small. I don’t think Quaa fits the ‘Luck’ theme of the event, but he fits as an April Fools’ Day dragon. The breeding combo is a good combo, but wasted on Quaa, who doesn’t look like either dragon. I would have expected a flower dragon with that combo – not an oversize bird.
