Bravo, adlerist, for the amazing Dragon Bandwagon thread! The time, talent, and information that you and others contribute to this forum makes the game a lot more fun and rewarding.
Apart from the new dragons and decos I am lucky to already have at least one of everything on offer in this event. That means more than a month of a comparatively low stress game for which I am very grateful. My whine glasses have been raised in one final toast to the Luck of the Vale and smashed in the fireplace. May they rest in piece(s).
I do NOT miss Eggy Hatchy - which began as a fun game but evolved into a maddening annoyance more dependent on luck than skill. I hope DECA will put the fun back into Eggy Hatchy the next time it returns by reverting to an earlier version of the game from a couple of years ago.
It’s been two year since Solar Eclipse has graced the Vale. Sadly, Solar and Lunar Eclipse fell off the release schedule, but I asked Deca if they’d reinstate them, and they agreed! Solar and Lunar Eclipse will now appear during their respective eclipses. There will be two solar and two lunar eclipses in 2022.
I should also add, there’s an error with Solar Eclipses’ release. It’s showing as available for one day. Deca is looking into it and will hopefully update Solar Eclipses’ stay for at least a week.
A partial solar eclipse occurs today (30 April) over parts of South America, Antarctica, and the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. The eclipse will begin at 12:45 PM (MDT), when it will first be visible to skywatchers in the far southeastern Pacific near the coast of Antarctica. The maximum eclipse will occur a couple hours later, at 2:41 PM (MDT), and conclude at 4:37 PM (MDT).
You can watch this year’s first solar eclipse here, at Timeanddate.com, beginning at 1:30 PM (MDT). Timeanddate.com will also be live-blogging the event.

Any chance starwing will become breedable? I’m one of those folks who needs a traited one!
All the Chrysalis dragons are permanent. Starwing's breeding hint is Glowwing + any Chrysalis element. All you need is a rift Glowwing as Glowwing fulfills the Chrysalis element. Breed it with any dragon that contains Plant, Fire, Earth or Cold so that you aren't introducing any extra elements.

This does look like a fun event - who doesn't love a circus? By smaller do you mean shorter? Or smaller dragons? Or fewer dragons? The event doesn't finish until 13 June, so not a shorter event - it is quite a long event. The first three dragons are reasonably priced, let's hope that the rest follow suit as there is no extra way to earn magic.

I'm going to make a confession here: I don't like the circus. Apologies in advance, but I'm just being honest. My mother took me to the circus once when I was a kid, and it was the most boring thing I ever. I couldn't wait for it to be over so we could go home. I think the only thing I enjoyed there was the corn dogs.
That being said, I'm actually not too thrilled with some of the more circus themed dragons. Stage is cute but not really my cup of tea. Felt that way about Prestige too. But I got Prestige anyway because I like his colors. Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not complaining. I think there's always something to like about every event. Like Smigi, for example. Gosh that thing is cute when it goes skittering around on its back legs before stumbling and falling. Love the animation on that one.
Oddly enough, I like Binky too. Though I named mine Pennywise, so you can probably tell what kind of clowns I like.

Hello! For All the Magical Ways to Find Magic, it says that there are 10 flag bearers as the special guests. When I click on my visitors button on the left, it says "There are special visitors and/or prizes in your park!" Are there prizes to be found in addition to finding the special visitors? Thank you!

Hi PicklePark, there are 10 special flag bearers to be found in your park who give event currency, but no extra prizes to find. If you have the Prismatic Pantheon adlerist made a post on the first page of the event page with the settings you need to help you find them. Ways to earn Magic
I could swear that when I hatched a triple rainbow dragon last night, the little white number for magic awarded was only 30, not 40. This morning I watched my rift breeds and it seemed like a couple were 30, but then the same dragon again gave 40. Maybe I just can’t math and I’m imagining things and not paying close enough attention. Is anyone else paying attention to the magic payouts?
Ps I really don’t want a triple rainbow to check. It was a claim from the RBCs last event. I also used Gaia to instantly hatch it. Is there a event currency penalty for using Gaia’s power?

Fingers crossed Deca do extend Solar Eclipse for longer than one day. It's on my wishlist of final 8 dragons and I had no success breeding it yesterday.

The FAQ for this event mentions an “Altar of Alteration” in our gifts. I never got one and I don’t see a decoration or biulding of that name in either the Dragonarium or in the list of items for this event. Is this an oversight or should I open a support ticket?

The Altar of Alteration is where the enhancement / Spellform pieces are kept. You can also apply and remove the pieces from the dragons with this building. It was released with the Secrets of Spellforms event. If you don’t have the Altar of Alteration, and it’s not available in your Gifts, let me know, and inform Deca that players are not automatically receiving it. You may want to open a help ticket as well to request the item. Thank you so much!

I’ve noticed this too. Some dragons with more than 24 hours incubation payout 40 instead of 42 currency, other dragons payout 40, when it should be less. And it’s not just new dragons, some of Backflip’s dragons have this inaccuracy too. But I haven’t noticed different amounts for the same dragon.

I just tried to purchase a sun habitat using DC, but it is not showing in the market. I know it is available using event currency, but I thought in the past habitats were still available to purchase using DC even though they were also available in the prize market. Some circuses are better than others. There’s a huge variety of shows that fall under the definition of 'circus'. Plus, the circus has evolved. It used to be a travelling show and was an enormous spectacle when it rolled into town. Then it became defined as Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey with animal acts, trapeze artists, and clowns. Eventually they shutdown, and now expensive themed productions with storylines, like Cirque du Soleil, have taken centre stage. The circus has changed with the times and technology. Yesterday’s circus isn’t going to hold the attention or draw interest today, so it naturally evolved.
I really liked The Beatles: Love by Cirque du Soleil. It is absolutely fantastical. But it’s such a far cry from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, that calling both of them 'circus' seems terribly inaccurate.
American Experience had an interesting documentary on the history of the circus. You can watch The Circus (part 1), and The Circus (part 2) if you’re in the US. I think it’s also available on Netflix and Amazon.

Typically, when habitats are in the event market, they’re removed from the regular Market. You could purchase the Celestial and Meridiem Habitats for event currency. They house Sun, Moon, and Galaxy dragons. The Celestial and Meridiem Habitats don’t count against your limit and are special for events. Or, if you prefer the Sun Habitat, you could store your dragons until the event is over, then purchase the habitat for DC.

I found it!!! It was hiding behind some giant trees on the island I redecorated after the pirate event....DUH!
By the way, I used the Prismatic Pantheon to find it.... settings: none, misc, basic. That brings up the buildings and portals.
