If you’re new to the polls and voting on the Forum, here are some helpful tips:
1. You must be a member to vote. This is a restriction by ProBoards and cannot be altered. An account is required to keep track of votes and to prevent multiple votes by anonymous guests.
2. When you vote, it is automatically recorded. There’s no Submit button. Backing out or clicking away from the thread will not undo your vote.
3. If you accidentally vote for a dragon or warm up to another dragon later, you have until June 15th to change your vote.
4. The poll will close on June 15th at 11.00 PM MDT.
Also, in addition to the dragon ratings, I’ll include player feedback for the event. If you have any comments, suggestions, complaints, or compliments regarding the event structure, mechanism, features, etc, please post it here, and I’ll pass it on.

I like all the dragons in this event! It was tough picking only three. I finally decided to go with Scryer, Smigi and Morphimagus. I have to admit the forum really had an affect on my decisions in a good way! I got a lot more attached to Smigi because of the Origin contest, and I got a lot more interested in Morphimagus because the forum talked about it before the event started with the hat on the splash screen and speculation that it could be a dragon. Adlerist making the hat into an award for rating the dragons also made me like Morphimagus more and encouraged me to rate the dragons. And the Origin contest got me to finally become a member after lurking for years so I could post my guess.
I forgot to give feedback for the event, lol! All the dragons were great, there were no bad designs. It was a total success! I also really liked that there was no Eggy Hatchy or Bingo Boards. But I love the Runic Caves and will always welcome them! The Runic Caves are hands down the best feature in the game.
All the events follow a similar pattern. It would be really exciting if there were different types of events, or at least different lengths like a mini short event. It’d also be great if there were more breaks between events. I know DECA keeps saying the poll they ran showed a lot of players didn’t want breaks, but it looks like you’re reading the results incorrectly. If you add up all the players who voted for a break from 1-7 days, there were way more votes (3/4), than the votes for no breaks (1/4). Also, the questions were worded to give the result of no breaks. One of the questions was “What do you enjoy more? Playing without events? Playing with events?” Of course everyone wants and enjoys events. They just don’t want events nonstop.
If the poll is going to be used for the reason why you’re doing constant events, then I think the poll should be run again with better questions that aren’t skewed to a result of no breaks. Have an independent party draft the questions or ask for help from players so DECA and players know the poll is fair and balanced. The players can help read the results too so it’s not misinterpreted.

I loved the origin contest. It highlighted the creativity and dedication to the game of our members. I liked the pace of this game - and no eggy hatchy - yeah! Loved the race track antics of Puffles and Ponkipong. Many thanks to deca and their staff who work to keep this game entertaining (and sometimes frustrating when we just can’t breed that dragon). I would love to see some twin weekends and more availability of all dragons in the rift.
And a HUGE THANK YOU to all our mods for all the work you you do!
PonkiPong is my favourite event dragon, followed by Smigi & Stage but I like them all. Think I’m in the minority but I miss Eggy Hatchy! I appreciate though, with no extra ways to earn currency, DECA priced the dragons accordingly 👏
ETA like amos I have PonkiPong in all its forms & at least 10 of them (so 20 combined I suppose!). Sometimes I think if my park was inhabited by nothing but Lightmares & PonkiPongs I’d be happy 😀
PonkiPong and Morphimagus are my favorites, although I like all the dragons in this event.
Once again, an enjoyable event, even though it is a bit long. I feel very relaxed without eggy hatchy (I always feel a tad stressed playing that game), nor the somewhat annoying bingo board. Don’t mind a break from the Runic Caves, given the length of the event makes up for gathering magic. Also appreciated the amount of magic given by each visitor.

I voted for Smigi (my favorite in this event), Morphimagus and Prestina.
I miss having extra games like Eggy Hatchy, Runic Breeding Caves and the bingo board games. Those were always fun and it feels like a long time since I last played them. I know some players say that it's more relaxing without all the extra games, but to me there's not enough to do without them. It's better and more fun when they're included with the event.

This was a good event, although rather long. As there was no extra way to earn magic, it made the event more relaxing. The dragons were well priced to reflect this. Thank you.
Thank you, Deca for supporting the Origin Contest. It was a lot of fun and I hope that you are going to create more dragons with obscure names for another Origin Contest in the future. Nobody would have guessed that Smigi was named after a cat no matter how long the contest ran for. Thanks also to adlerist for coming up with the idea and doing all the behind the scenes work and creating an awesome thread. 😊
It was great to see another couple of fan-made dragons added to the game. There are many talented DV players and it is great to have them recognised and their creations included in the game.
My only negative comment about the event is about a couple of the breeding combos. Two dragons required Stella – either as a parent or a grandparent. Morphimagus and Prestina.
When setting a breeding combo would you please consider all the dragons that are required to breed to get to the breeding combo? While Stella is a lovely dragon, the breeding combo to get a Stella, Midnight + Starwing, is a difficult combo for newer players. Starwing is a Chrysalis dragon and the only way to get a Chrysalis dragon in the Rift is via a Chrysalis EOM, so there is an amount of luck involved. For Stella to be a requirement of two dragons from this event seems unkind.
This is not relevant to the current event, but thank you for introducing the Low Resolution mode to the dragons as well. I am now able to get around my park and rift without crashing. It has made a huge difference to my gameplay. 😊

My favs were Scryer, Morphimagus & Stage …in that order. I am going to try to rate them all which will be difficult because i really liked all of them except Jumpiplop (which i thought looked way too much like Country)
Enjoyed the event - it didn’t seem stressful to me. Again, wish we could have more downtime between events but i have to say that the events seem much more relaxing to me with the way DECA has them set up than it was with Backflip and that toy company that owned DV previously. On the whole i have been very happy with the way DECA runs things and the fact that they actually care about what we think and allow us some input. 😃
*edit* Cannot believe that i forgot to thank our moderators and all the great DV fans that contribute to the forum. adlerist , you have made our forum look absolutely fabulous and colorful and up-to-date! Really appreciate all the hours you and the other moderators put into the forum to keep us informed and educated as to the best options for breeding etc. I would be lost, truly, without your guidance & tips. Also, i appreciate the questions and tips posted by our great DV players.
