Hello Everybody,

Thank you so much for supporting DragonVale by providing your feedback. It is immensely helpful, as it allows the DV Team to know what players are thinking about the new dragons and ideas for possible changes to future designs. Here’s a repost of some friendly reminders to ensure all ratings are accurate and counted.

1. You can add comments to your ratings, but please double-check and be sure you provided a number to rate the dragon.

2. If the following is submitted:

6. 5
7. 5

But there are 8 questions (or if 8 ratings are submitted, and there’s only 7 questions), the ratings will not count because it’s impossible to tell which rating goes to which category. Using the template will help avoid this issue, but it’s certainly not a requirement.

3. Please use a number between 1-5 to rate the dragons. Numbers outside this range will not be calculated in the rating average.

4. If more than one number is submitted, the rating will not be included.

5. If you change your mind or warm up to a dragon, you can edit your rating, but please inform OboeKade so he can ensure it is accurately recorded.

6. The Rate a Dragon threads will be locked on 27 July, when the event concludes. If you need more time, please message me prior to the deadline.

VALEODON DRAGON

1. Animation - 3/5 - not enough going on & don’t like the hopping movement. Maybe could have risen up & then hit the water w/his chest, side, and/or tail? Like the bubbles & slash marks coming from his mouth. He is a mighty & strong guy, doesn’t fit with the hopping.

2. Size - 5/5 - large but he is a mongo guy

3. Price (9,700 Doubloons) - 4/5 - still too much for me

4. How well does Valeodon fit the theme - 5/5 - fits perfectly!

5. Design details -5/5 - love the bright colors, eyes, marks on chest, long tusks from the mouth, unique shape of tail, ridges along back - he is magnificent! Legs & arms have a bit of that stuck-on appearance & therefore funky movement. I am not an artist & don’t know what is wrong but some of these guys seem like their appendages are just stuck on rather than naturally coming from their bodies & moving naturally. This was very noticeable on Corsair.

6. How would you rate Valeodon’s breeding combo (KAIJU + ZILLA) - 3/5 - another tough one for new players

7. How much do you like Valeodon? -5/5 - love this guy! Looks mighty! Beautiful unique design features (back, tail, eye, tusks) and very colorful. One of my favs of the event.

Comments / feedback for Deca (optional) - love him! Great job! Another gorgeous egg design. Is going to be hard to chose a favorite at the end. You have done a fabulous job on the dragons for this event!

Comments: Valeodon is probably my favourite new dragon this event. The details, lines, shape, colour, behaviour... he's a dragon alright! Better yet, the baby looks like a proper baby version of the adult. It wasn't over-cutified and works perfectly. Nice, understated egg as well. Thanks, Deca!

Comments / feedback for Deca : Valeodon’s animation is just right for a sea monster – he doesn’t need any fancy moves. Not all dragons need a prop or several different animations. He is a great fit for the Pirate theme and I love the colouring – perfect for a monster of the sea. Another overly complicated breeding combo for an elemental dragon.
