With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste.
You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were.
Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod.
On July 1st (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favourite thread. You'll have about a week to vote.
So about the 7th of July we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. The 7 mods (making an assumption here, because I haven't heard back from all of them) will give a gem to both of the people that win the poll.
So, to sum up. - Make good posts. - Nominate good posts. - Vote for posts. - Profit.
1. Pearl is available at Level 11. Rainbow has been changed to be available at Level 11. So I think we can assume it's a combo with 4 elements. 2. Water is available at Level 14 and Air and Metal are above Level 11 as well, so it shouldn't need any of those 3 elements to make it.

I'm disappointed. I guessed the pearl combo before it came out and yet my dragons still refuse to give me one. I think it is a conspiracy involving the lithuanian underground, the secret aztec astronauts from norway, and the far fetched gangway clan of greater inner outer lesser mongolia. Dont ask me why I suspect these groups- I have my reasons.

Prediction: Since Fletch has let the Pear dragon slip, I guess it is only fair to let you all know the next dragon will be Peach, followed closely by green grape, pineapple and apple. A new habitat will be introduced to hold these new entries, it will be known as a fruit bowl.

After a long and arduous attempt to conceive a Pearl baby, Mr Snow and Ms Seaweed finally consulted a specialist in these matters. After an expensive fertility treatment, and many disappointments Mr Snow and Ms Seaweed are delighted to announce that they are expecting their little treasure (aka gem) in approximately 30 hours.
Their family congratulate them and wish Ms Seaweed an uncomplicated confinement and cordially invite their extended family to join them for the christening to be held shortly after the birth.
Further details of the impending birth and subsequent celebrations to follow.
Unfortunately their close cousins Mr Seaweed and Ms Snow have not as yet been blessed with similar good fortune. Nevertheless they wish their cousins well. They are rumored to be consulting with the same specialist at this time and hope to have a similar announcement in the not too distant future. We wish them well in this endeavor.

I'm thinking maybe I should have put on some horns and face paint for my profile picture so I fit in better but I tend to like a pic rather than an avatar lol.
I'm no shrinking violet, I shall be asking, advising, getting in there, poking my nose round the door, having a good root around, taking part and putting my 2 pennies worth in but all in a nice way.

Poppy came to the rescue, finding and establishing a new home for all the cool kids (banned) and their friends. We have been here thriving and having lots of fun for the past few months. We don't share the restrictive rules of the old forum, we just don't allow personal attacks on one another. We try to stay on topic as much as possible, but we are flawed. The good news is we don't ban because of it.

There's a long-standing custom here, one which BFS officially approves of, that states that when you get the "and others" message and have no idea who it is, you're supposed to send a gem to me. This has been the case since last winter.
I just nearly had a bad accident! Was collecting hats and one was well stuck in a tree - I had to get a ladder and reach really high and it wobbled loads and the dragons were nibbling at my ladder, not holding it secure at all!! Obviously I had protective hard hat on but even so it scared me a little bit - hat retrieved though, phewie!
