By 'effects' do you mean the weather from the Weather Station? The event’s weather will persist. The player’s Twilight Tower settings cannot be overridden by the event theme, but the event’s weather is out of our control.

GALACTIC CONGRATULATIONS, WORMS!
Once again, our lovely Worms has a design in the game! Worms enter the Riftmouth for Deca‘s Spooky Decorations Community Design Contest. Deca transformed Riftmouth into the Sunken Dragon decoration.
Now that Worms has designed half the content for DragonVale, perhaps Deca will hire Worms so we can finally get the wonderful Glob dragon with his sandwich (translucent belly) in the game! 🐌🥪

The fog decoration is amazing! It only needs a 1X1 square in which to plant itself but it’s effects cover a much larger area - at least 7 or 8 squares - and you can move other decoration in and out of the fog. Perfect for Halloween and amazing graphics.

Are the decorations to evolve the Halloween dragons supposed to sell for DC or EC? I always get confused with this... I do recall that for some, they are sold for DC and other times for EC..

I absolutely love everything about this event. The dragons are gorgeous and the new decorations are beautiful. Can't wait to start adding everything to my Halloween island. Love love love this so much! I'm so happy right now. 🧡🖤🧡🖤
One question, though. Can we get a raise on the number of Spooky habitats we're allowed to have? I already have seven and I'd really like some more. If it was a number like ten, that would be great. 🎃🖤

The daily towers will change to double currency on double days, but the weekly tower stays the same, so there is no benefit to saving it until a double day. 😊I am remembering how much I dislike egg hatchy. I am soo bad at playing the game
I love it! I just can't remember if it is beneficial to save the last tier for double days. Does it change to the higher amount?

The evolve decorations should sell for Event Currency. In last year's Candy Bash, the decorations originally sold for DC, but Deca changed it to be Event Currency.
