WELCOME BACK TO THE 13TH ROUND OF RATE A DRAGON

For those who are new to Rate a Dragon, Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release. This will allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.

The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on December 7th. At the end of the event, your feedback will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.

Please take a minute to rate the Garden Noms dragons from 1-5 for each category. You can either post your ratings and comments on this thread or message me. Thank you for participating, sharing your thoughts, and making this game even better with each dragon.

I like all the moss growing on Keyper’s antlers. I don’t understand why Keyper has blue flowers on its hands. Is this supposed to symbolize something? The baby is really really cute! 😍

This was a great Spoiler Contest dragon!! It was really amazing seeing everyone’s guesses, and it was fun chatting about what this dragon and the others might look like.

4/5, there's a lot of character but it can be kinda hard to tell exactly what it's doing. i'm not even sure what its hand keeps doing, because those don't look like any keys i've seen.

2. Rift trait
5/5. nothing to say here, for the design that's the best that could have been done.

3. Size (if you don’t own Keyper, please check a friend’s park)
2/5. i like big dragons (and i cannot lie), but it doesn't seem like the kind of dragon that would actually be that big. it's hard to describe, but it doesn't have the energy or presence to match its size, and looks somewhat awkward as a result.

4. Price (12,400 Magic)
1/5. far too much for what it is, really.

5. How well does Keyper fit the theme of the event
3/5, solely because for this event i'm not sure what the theme is actually supposed to *be*, but that has nothing to do with the dragons themselves.

6. Design details
1/5. there's far too much going on to the point where i had to look at this forum's high quality image for a good while to actually see what it was supposed to be, even after getting it the moment it came out thanks to a lot of luck. the colours and shading are also very out of place with a lot of dragons and the habitats this dragon is supposed to be in.

7. How would you rate Keyper’s breeding combo (RAZORTAIL + ETCH)
5/5. a nice, easy combo to start the event with!

8. How much do you like Keyper (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!)
2/5, would put 1.5 if it were an option. i don't dislike it to the point where i hate it, but i'm just not a fan at all with how jarring it is alongside older dragons and the habitats.

1. 4/5 Slightly confused animation; I’m sure it’s got a key so why use it like a magnifying glass?
2. 5/5 The trait placement is great, I have light & cold & they both look stunning.
3. 4/5 A bit too big (again).
4. 4/5 A bit too expensive (again).
5. 5/5 A great fit. Keyper looks to be at one with nature.
6. 4/5 A really lovely design. I especially like the head detail & the little flowers on the hands. The tail is a bit much & looks out of proportion despite it being a large dragon. Personally I prefer the size of the adolescent, the baby too is a preferable size to the huge adult & looks great strutting around with a knowing look on its face.
7. 5/5 An easy combo which makes perfect sense & that doesn’t happen very often!
8. 4/5 I really like it, just a bit big but definitely a keeper..

Comments / feedback for Deca : Not much happening in the animation and I’m unsure what is supposed to be in his hands, they don’t look like keys. A big jump in price from the other dragons. Keyper has an excellent breeding combo – I’d give it a 10 if I could! Although it is a locked combo, both dragons are permanent and not too hard to obtain. I really like the baby. It has a more appealing, simpler design and less detail. Adult Keyper gets too detailed especially around the head and it is too hard to see in-game.

Comments / feedback for Deca: I like the way Keyper looks but the tail is too wide and there isn’t anything interesting in the animation. I don’t get the blue flowers in its hand or what that has to do with the dragon. Keyper doesn’t seem like a Garden Noms dragon.
