Lovesick will grow on you, and you’ll soon love it.
It is so derpy, it out-derps itself.
I used to love how derpy Frons was until it was changed, but this dragon... it's so derpy that it's an abomination. I'm even considering putting it in hibernation-permanently-once I get it.

Bloodstone, Dragonglow, and Tapioca put the doubly in Lovely Doubly!
I have been struggling to clone, much less twin Brutiful, and along comes the three twinning masters, twinning like it’s second nature. Thank you so very much, dragonglow, Tapioca, and Bloodstone! Ruby gems and chocolate treats are being delivered to your park.
Many cheers! ❤️💝❤️

Delirium is typically not associated with an event. Its release is dependent on Dragon’s Week. There have been lots of requests for him. So he can’t stay away for too long. 😉
There's quite a few other dragons that rarely come around, especially the anniversary, vintage, and certain other dragons not associated with an event like Portent or Soriak (though Soriak's gotten better).
Yes, I know. Worry not, they are all assigned to a Dragon’s Week.

Gardenia spotted Scorn on Lovelorn Bridge, as he looked sadly into the distance. 'What have you lost that brings you to this bridge over troubled water?' asked Gardenia. 'That is not water', Scorn replied, 'those are my tears'. Gardenia sighed deeply in sorrow. 'Do not despair. If you cry a river, you will beckon the great comfort of LOVESICK'. From the teary water, Lovesick emerged and slowly lifted the sky. He circled around and whispered in Scorn’s ear, 'We only miss those we love the most. This is how we remember our love'.
There is no lovelorn if you’re lovesick. Lovesick is in the co-op missing you. Lovely koala to all!
Breeding hint: SWEETHEART + CUDDLEWING
Incubation time: 18 hours
Status: Limited tier, 7 days
Habitats/Elements: plant, fire, earth, lightning
Breeding percentages: breeding hint 3.1%; co-op clone 10%
This is the weirdest dragon DECA has created lol! Even the baby is goofy.
I love the story you gave Lovesick, adlerist. It’s the best part of this dragon! 😂
'We only miss those we love the most. This is how we remember our love'.
This immediately made me think of the ending of this comic by Jenny Jinya. It's one of my favourite Loving Reaper comics. (Also I'd advise any of you to read every single last one of them if you haven't already, though warning: you will cry).
Here is Compendium social cloning data for this week’s Lovesick dragon. Lovesick includes plant, fire, earth, and lightning elements. The Flower dragon gets the top spot with an average fail time of 11 hours 58 minutes. The Cactus and Poison dragons are tied for a close second place with average fail times of 12 hours 1 minute. Any of the three will serve nicely. As always, practice safe social cloning.

Really, it’s not Poison or Cactus? The offspring are the same and Poison and Cactus have a shorter incubation time than Flower.
I cloned Lovesick using Ghostly Plant Elder. It took four tries. The percentage is pretty good with Lovesick.

All the flowers to Dragonmum, Grammy, and Murzick64!
We have identified the record-breaking, fastest twinners in the Vale! Thank you greatly, grammydragon, murzick64, and Dragonmum! Valentine’s gems and heart-shaped treats are in the mail. Please allow 1-2 days for delivery.
Happy Valentine’s Day! 🌹💝🌹
I was away from the game for a while, and likely missed some twins after reaching the maximum of ten twins awaiting. If anyone else bred a Lovesick twin with mine, I did not receive it. But I very much would like to send you gems and treats. Please message me. Thank you! ❤️

Okay, I'll admit it. I adore Lovesick. I know I usually complain a lot about the dragons not being cute or pretty, or not having the simple designs that I enjoyed when BFS was still designing them. But lately I've been very happy with the dragons we've been getting. I loved every dragon from the last event, the one exception being Greenge (I was disappointed that it wasn't as fierce looking as it appeared on the title screen). And now I love Lovesick as well.
I mean come on. That face. ❤️😍❤️
Lovesick is the goofiest, cutest little sweetheart I've ever seen. He also looks like he might be a little bit drunk. Might have fallen into the whine barrel during his visit to the vale. But oh my goodness, I just want to squeeze those cheeks and give him a hug. Seriously, DECA, I need a Lovesick plushie. A great big one that I can cuddle with.

We share our physical lives with those in spirit. For life, like love, never dies. Love knows no limits, not even death.

I think the baby form is sort of cute. And the adult form is definitely not the worst-designed dragon I've ever seen - at least it looks vaguely like a dragon. I don't dislike it, but I definitely don't like it.
My loading screen's been flicking back and fourth between Megatat and Lovely Doubly throughout the event, but I just got my first Frostivale Yulebration. I wonder when I'll get Garden Noms? 😂
The music this event is perfect. So pretty and peaceful, like the music from the Starfall event. And like the Starfall music it really feels like it fits the theme of the event.
If it was just a little quieter and slower I could definitely fall asleep to it.

Flower comes with base odds of 0.29 compared to 0.30 for Cactus and Poison in the Compendium data, hence the slightly shorter social clone time for Flower, even with the 30 minute breeding time for Cactus and Poison compared to a 60 minute time for Flower. Someone who was involved in collecting Compendium data should probably jump in here. Using a single element dragon (or one of its ghostly cousins) produces average fail times at least one hour longer than the Cactus, Flower, or Poison hybrids. That said, many people have had koala using single element dragons for social clones.
Of the things I could find XP info for, I've done the EC-to-XP ratios if anyone happens to be interested. These are the best things to buy:
Mesmer
Once you can't afford Mesmer pedestals, buy Lullaby
then Canvas
then Entwined
then Grace
then Canna
then Iron Blossom
then Ire
then Rosebud
then Rose
then Love
then Berrywhite Benches (no XP info on the Wiki, but it's cheaper than a Love pedestal and will at least give some XP)
The Dreamcatcher has the worst EC-to-XP ratio of the ones I could find XP info for, with a measly 0.25 XP per EC, compared to Mesmer's whopping 2022.06 XP per EC 😂 (Also, I'm disappointed that Mesmer wasn't released on the 6th of February last year. It was so close!)

I am undecided on whether I like Lovesick or not. It does have a goofy appeal.
The poor think must have an awful crick in its back. I think it needs to visit a chiropractor to straighten its back out. 😂

It’s not so much single-element dragons, it’s elder dragons that provide desirable results. There’s a breeding bonus added to elders that increases your chances of obtaining rarer dragons. We do not know the percentage, so it’s not calculated in the Compendium and Fletch did not add the breeding bonus to his calculations either.

Elder dragons rule! I have cloned Pricklefluff with Elder Light, Divi with Elder Air and Lovesick with Elder Lightning. Elders are my go to for cloning. 😊

I don't actually have any elders yet (I'm only 20 levels away from max and have been playing for coming up to 500 days 😂) but I've been saving up so I can feed all 15 to elder stage at once. My Dargon is traited so I need about 320 million treats (I considered getting untraited but I'm getting about 10 million treats a day from treat friends and alt parks so there wasn't that much difference, and I think traited dragons give more XP from leveling up right?), and I'm up to about 270 million at the moment. Then I'll get a double XP boost from racing and watch the XP roll in 🤣

Yes you are correct, feeding traited dragons up gives more XP than feeding 'normal' dragons. The XP bar goes up much quicker feeding traited dragons and if you have an XP boost as well, it will fly! 😂
With Dargon (being traited), you do know that you can level up rift dragons using Etherium? It is 'cheaper' than treats if you have a well developed Rift.
This link from the Wiki gives the number of treats or etherium that a dragon requires for each level. (You may have already found this)
Don't leave an XP in your social menu and reach max level - it will stay there forever. 😊

Ah I'd forgotten about etherium! I had already found the page (I used it quite a bit when triple and quadruple checking how many treats I needed 😂) but it's a good reminder, thank you. Though I recently changed lots of traits at the transfiguration tower so I'm really low on etherium currently, I haven't even managed to get the second 2500 breed today! So by the time I'm back up to having lots to spare I'll have enough treats.
And there's definitely no need to worry about having leftover XP boosts. I've got about 10 total in the past, only chose to start two, and lost the other 8 from accidentally starting them when clearing gift notifications. There absolutely ought to be a confirm option with them. When I get closer to the 320 million treats I'll start using the racetrack again, and although it'll be a lot I'll probably spend the gems to get the boost if it shows up in an unopened chest. The racetrack is fun but veeeery repetitive.
