Comments / feedback for Deca : I really like the night form of Lovonone – the day form is lacking something – perhaps it is the colour, it tones in too much to the ball room floor. The trait looks great on both versions. The night form animation makes it look sad and gives the appearance that it is calling for his one true love. Such a sad backstory to the dragon, together but apart. Lovonone is too big compared with the other Aura dragons in game. I love the idea that it is a yin-yang dragon. Cupido is a difficult dragon to breed and Scorn keeps cropping up as a fail with this combo. Nice dragon, but awful breeding combo.

Comments / feedback for Deca One of my favourite dragons in the event. I don’t know why, but it really speaks to me, especially the night version. A very interesting and cool yingyang idea for a dragon! The breeding combo doesn’t match Lovonone at all. It’s like DECA just randomly picked the dragons that would be the most difficult in a combo 😒
1. Animation: 4/5 I feel like the Day version doesn't much care about missing his counterpart (3/5). The Night form reacts as expected and looks forlorn (5/5). I met in the middle for the final rating.
2. Rift trait: 3/5 Day - feels like his ribs are being accentuated. Night - minimal and I don't understand the little flying sun/portal things.
3. Size: 5/5
4. Price (13,000 Roses): 5/5 Still within reason
5. Theme: 4/5 Feels way off track. It's love themed, obviously, but it just doesn't fit with any of the other dragons. It doesn't feel Beauty and the Beast themed at all to me. It gives me Ladyhawke vibes (yes yes it's an old movie, but I counter: it has a hawk in it).
6. Design details: 3/5 Night: I actually love this design. It just doesn't fit at all with the rest of the event dragons. Day: Looks like a genie. Underwhelming generally and his colouration is unappealing.
7. Breeding combo (CUPIDO + SCORN): 2/5 Why? Cupid is too new to use. Period.
8. How much do you like Lovonone (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!): 3/5
Comments: I'm very happy to have this dragon purely for its night form. Sadly, I'm not always in Night mode. Overall I like the idea of this dragon. I just feel like Day could have emoted better (at all) and both could have used more opposite effects and/or Valentine effects (since it wasn't BatB related). I'm not against a mix of cartoony and serious dragons, but I do think 'fitting a theme' means everybody should feel cohesive at least a little. Just to beat the dead horse, at that point in the event we had Lovesick, Nomnoter and Lovonone, none of which remind me of Beauty and the Beast or the Lovely Doubly dance going on in the loading screen.
7. Breeding combo (CUPIDO + SCORN): 2/5 Why? Cupid is too new to use. Period.
As much as I hate to admit it, I feel like most of the recent events have contained at least one limited dragon which requires a parent that was released the prior year:
This event: Lovonone, which requires Cupido as a parent AND Divi, which requires Buttercup (even though it cannot be actually bred until later).
Frostivale Yulebration: Aisa, which requires Zumi as a parent
Pirates in Paradise II: Corsair, which requires Yarr as a parent, Curse, which requires Alure as a parent, Euryale, which requires Ikatako as a parent, AND Valeodon, which requires Zilla as a parent (even though it could not be bred until later)
The Dragon Bandwagon: Ponkipong, which requires Undau as a parent, Puffles, which requires Fluffles as a parent, Prestina, which requires Prestige as a parent, AND Scryer, which requires Lunk as a parent (though it could not be bred until later).
Luck in the Vale: Arcrider, which requires Florea as a parent, Quaa, which requires Kroki as a parent, AND Fae, which requires BOTH Snooz AND Glasswing as parents, in which BOTH dragons were released the prior year.
Of the three events of the year in which did not contain parent dragons that were released the previous year, two of them had combinations which instead included evolution dragons, which are debatably worse.
Whitbee's Candy Bash IX: Kage, which requires Wrath as a parent.
Garden Noms: Diggy, which requires Bloatato as a parent.
Frostivale Yulebration: Sugarmitten, which requires Sugarplum as a parent (though it could not be bred until later), Kotun, which requires Lokilure as a parent, AND Greenge, which requires Burglehoo as a parent
And of these evolution parents, I managed to breed only two of them, being Greenge, as I had a Rift Trait Burglehoo Dragon, and Kotun (in which I believe I co-op bred).
This means that the only event in the past year which had combos which were not either evolution or newish releases was Camping Under the Stars. Even then there are a couple of dragons that have a somewhat painful combo. Ariesian being the worst, as it requires the Solarflare dragon, which contributes all elements to breeding.
As a result of the patterns the recent events have been taking with breeding combos for limited/new releases, I have learned a lesson that is probably important for all players to know as well: expect at least one dragon to have a breeding combo which requires a dragon released in the past year. And if not, expect an evolution dragon in the combo instead.

Comments / feedback for Deca I love Lovonone! Their colors and shapes really fit the yin and yang of the dragon, along with their simplicity. This is one of my faves of the event!
