Comments / feedback for Deca : I love this dragon and that it hasn’t been changed very much from hotsaucechicken’s Ege dragon. This is the dragon that is the most fitting for the Beauty and the Beast theme in the event. He is a bit on the large size – he doesn’t fit size-wise with the other Aura dragons. Thorn is an awesome dragon to have in the breeding combo, but Masque doesn’t really fit – it looks nothing like Brutiful (day or night) and Masque is a difficult dragon to breed. Tough one for newer players.
The egg is outstanding and again really fits with the Beauty and the Beast theme.
Congratulations to hotsaucechicken for getting his Ege dragon included in the game. It is an amazing dragon and Deca have done a wonderful job bringing it to life. I love having fan-made dragons in the game. I look forward to seeing more of hotsaucechicken’s designs introduced into DragonVale as well as other fan-made dragons.

I really like how the two animations from night to day are very different — the slow and creeping nighttime Brutiful versus the light and agile daytime Brutiful.

If there were 7-8 new dragons in this event, then I’d give the price a 5/5. But with 9 new dragons, the prices for the dragons should’ve been lowered.

Why is Thorn in the breeding combo?! The Rose dragon is right there, ready to go in this event, and Brutiful has roses throughout its design. The most perfect opportunity to use Rose has been quashed. Plus, Thorn adds the unnecessary metal element. Rose adds no extra elements.
The breeding parents don’t have to pile on more primary elements, and if they do, the breeding percentage should be raised to accommodate for all the extra breeding fails.

I love Hotsaucechicken’s Ege dragon, so I’m very pleased to see that Deca didn’t drastically alter the original design. The night version is absolutely delicious! Superb details with the branch-like arm and the rose thorn claw on the end — it’s like a mythological walking stick, but it’s a guide instead of support. The thick rooty hair is wildly imaginative, and completely sets the mood of this dragon and its darkness. Daytime Brutiful has Phantom of the Opera vibes with its cape animation. I like its theatrical look and white painted mask / face. Even though I prefer Hotsaucechicken’s baby version more, Deca’s interpretation is really cute too. And don’t even get me started about the utter adorableness of baby nighttime Brutiful!

Comments / feedback for Deca OMG I can’t believe how incredible this dragon looks and moves! I like both night and day Brutiful, but night has a really eerie and mysterious feel about it. I can’t stop watching it in my park. That claw on the arm or stick or whatever it is, is so amazing! I love that you can’t see his eyes, it adds to the mystery. I’d like to have more dragons like this from hotsaucechicken and DECA!

Comments / feedback for Deca: love the concept of beauty and the beast, day/night version, and the adaptation of the Ege dragon! I like the night version better. The baby of the day version is cute.
1. Animation: 4/5 I have a love/hate relationship with this one. First off, I love the Night form animation. No complaints here. Day version though. He acts so melodramatic and theatrical. He flies like Superman, which is even more glaring because he looks like he's in tights. And that bashful, or 'woe is me' head in the arm move gets me every time.

3. Price (11,500 Roses): 3/5 Not so awesome with 4 dragons, plus 5 others on the way.
4. Theme: 5/5 THE Beauty and the Beast themed dragon.
5. Design details: 4/5. That's 5/5 for Night. I love the Beast. Hotsauce made an exceptional Beast. I love the thorns and the hunch. The Deca-made cane arm is fine in my books. 2/5 Day. Most of this is just my overall dislike of humanoid dragons. But this guy is not just strutting around in tights, he's FLYING like Superman. I can't even. I think the only other glaring thing I particularly dislike is how Ege's head petals were changed. He went from having some flare around his head like scales and down the back of his neck, to having what looks like a wig made of roses.
I like what Deca did with the baby and find the Day form very cute.
6. Breeding combo (THORN + MASQUE): 4/5 Masque is a bit of a nightmare, but thematically this works.

Comments / feedback for Deca Wow, I love this dragon! Ever since I saw it as the Ege dragon when it was submitted for the contest, I’ve loved it. Congrats hotsaucechicken! I love the night version. There’s a lot of mystery and darkness in the design, you can’t even see the face. And I love how this contrasts with the day version that is very bright and open. This is one of my fave dragons in the game.
