I love how Classical moves. She’s like a hummingbird or a bee. The short, staccato flying movements are spot-on, and I really like how she bounces around on her stigma. The glowing rings that radiate from the stigma are a fantastic touch!

I don’t think of classical music when Valentine’s Day is mentioned. The melody dragons have difficulty fitting their events (e.g., Halloween melody dragons).

Canvas is related to art (drawing and painting), not music or flowers. It isn’t cohesive in this combo, and just makes Classical more difficult to breed (which is a really poor reason to use it). ROSEGOLD + ORCHID would have been absolute perfection!

Classical is a dead ringer for adult Fushi. And Fushi looks exactly like the fushia flower. Not sure how the fushia flower has anything to do with classical music. Or how classical music has anything to do with Valentine’s Day. Don’t get me wrong, Classical is a very nice dragon and would’ve fit perfectly in the spring event with Fushi as a parent. But in the Valentine’s event, it’s just a Fushi look-alike with the name 'Classical' slapped on it to put a melody dragon in the event. It doesn’t work.

1. Animation: 4/5 The animation itself is a delight. I really like her bouncy, buoyant and fun character. However, her description of being calm - and not erratic - doesn't fit. She's very erratic. And given she seems to be made up like she's at an event, she doesn't have any slow, calm and classical dance moves.

4. Theme: 5/5 I was so confused by the bell until it hit me ... Belle. *groan* I actually don't think of classical music when I think of Beauty and the Beast (thanks Disney), but it fits with the time period, Lovely Doubly dance and ballgown dress.
5. Design details: 4/5 The bell feels out of place. The rest is fine. She does seem like Fushi's sister. I like her ear petals and wings.
6. Breeding combo (CANVAS + ROSEGOLD): 3/5 Why Canvas? Rosegold and melody element or something. That would probably make even more fails haha I don't have an answer.

Using an element instead would have been better like Rosegold + Air. This is a very beautiful dragon just like the beautiful Fushia. I think it would have been better if it wasn’t a Melody dragon.

Comments: Do the people who write the descriptions and the people who draw the graphics and animation ever talk to each other? According to the description the Classical dragon is supposed to be a calm dragon right at home in formal settings. The graphic design and animation make the dragon look like it is getting a broomstick colonoscopy and is hopping around frantically trying to get off the broom. And what are the concentric circles that emanate from the dragon supposed to represent? Music or shrieks of pain? If music then some music notes might have been useful in the animation. This is not one of Deca’s better efforts.

Comments / feedback for Deca. As a big classical music lover, I was keenly anticipating a Classical dragon. It's a very pretty and attractive dragon but doesn't conjure up classical to me. Even if treating as a ballroom attendee, Classical's movement doesn't evoke dancing images for me.

Comments / feedback for Deca Players are critical about Classical because it doesn’t fit the Melody category. If it wasn’t a Melody dragon and was called Floral and released in the Easter event, then players would like it. There’s nothing wrong with the dragon, it’s just in the wrong category and event.

Comments / feedback for Deca: The colors are very pretty. Fushi is a beautiful dragon and so is Classical. I like how they’re both based on fushia and the details in the stigma. When Classical bounces on the stigma and it radiates, it really shows the importance of that part of the flower and emphasises the tribute and connection to the fushia bloom. Nice work, DECA!
