Either the evolve decorations need to be in the mini games, or the evolved dragon needs to be in the event market, or both. This is the standard. I know Deca now realises this and regrets the mix-up. I’m glad future evolve dragons will follow the correct procedure.

Hotsaucechicken’s redesign is brilliant. It retains Mesmer’s elements and artistic style but instead of an awkward bipedal with too many hypnosis / mesmerism / psychic references, he combined everything into a cohesive and stunning dragon! Absolutely brilliant!

I really adore the way Deca handled all the criticism over Mesmer. For the players who are not on Reddit, the Mesmer backlash was severe and borderline hateful on the Reddit sub. And it went on for months. Deca could’ve taken it personally or ignored the comments. But instead, they added a hilarious blurb about Mesmer’s beauty on the loading screen for April Fool’s, created the Mesmirror with Mesmer’s 'beautiful' image, and implemented Hotsaucechicken’s popular Mesmer redesign so players can evolve Mesmer into the dragon they desired. It was a masterful way to address the criticism and negativity, and it really let the players know Deca was listening to them.
Bravo to Deca Games for being so fantastic and hilarious, and to Hotsaucechicken for the extraordinary redesign — I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us!

I'm not sure if you're aware, but the reason why it disappeared was because its release into the market was an accident - it wasn't meant to be directly buyable.
If you have all 10 different variations of the Idols of Hypnosis (from the Limited tier of the event market) in your park, you can evolve a Mesmer dragon to a Mesmerus dragon for 1000 roses (or 100 gems once the event is over).
Also, Mesmerus wouldn't typically be available in the end of event gift, since it was a new release. (Apparently there have been times in the past that new releases were available, but not since DECA took over the game.)

1. Animation: 4/5 I like the way the eye pops out into four, but I wish the conjured portal thing was in front of him (because it's mostly hidden). The Mesmer arm coming out is funny, but unnecessary.

4. Price: 5/5 Honestly, this is pretty cheap. If we'd just outright gotten this dragon as a limited, I feel like it would have been 17k.
5. Theme: 3/5 With some mental gymnastics I can relate the Mesmer transformation to Beauty and the Beast. But I think if it had been worked into his story, it would have been better. Actually, if all of these dragons had a linked story like the Bright Wild Nights dragons, this event could have had the cohesiveness it needed.

Comments: Deca - thank you. Thank you for taking all of that overzealous criticism so well and for having fun with it. I loved the April Fool's startup screen dig. I got a laugh when I read the Mesmirror's description. I just love that you took something so negative and turned it into a positive. Hotsauce's redesign really was well thought out - what an honour to have it included. Best of all, your trolling resulted in this not-a-Mesmer-fan having to not only take out their hibernating Mesmers, but grow them up and actively breed them. Point - Deca. Well played.

Comments / feedback for Deca. Absolutely stunning, the traited versions even more so. I loved Deca's self deprecating humour and the buildup to the Mesmerus release. It's also a very good currency earner which makes up for it being a little pricy to acquire. I thought evolution was very appropriate for Mesmerus. Is it evolving into a Beauty, which would link to the event theme?

Comments / feedback for Deca I wish the evolve decos were in the Name That Egg chests. That would’ve been perfect! The Mesmerus dragon is such a huge upgrade from Mesmer! I never though Mesmer could be this beautiful! I love how Mesmerus is very close to hotsaucechicken’s redesign, which so many players love. The Mesmer redesign wasn’t part of a contest, so no one should feel discouraged if it was included in the game. This is the first time DECA has added a dragon from a Reddit post and I think that’s really cool! I hope they do more of these. I love this Euryale redesign and the other day I saw this Techno redesign all by hotsaucechicken! Most players have no problem with someone having several dragons in the game whether it’s over a short period of time or over years. All players really care about is great dragons and DECA is obviously a pro. They’ve done a fantastic job of picking the best designs for the event. Keep up the amazing work, DECA! Comments / feedback for Deca: Like most players, I didn’t really care for Mesmer. But Mesmerus let me see the positive things in Mesmer, and now I like and appreciate Mesmer. That’s how amazing and important the Mesmerus redesign by hotsaucechicken is and how it used the strengths of Mesmer to make Mesmerus an incredible dragon. Hotsaucechicken has created a lot of DV redesigns and they all do this. It was a brilliant move by DECA to take the Mesmer criticism and hate, and turn it into the best dragon of the event! Everyone knows it’s impossible to get the trolls to stop trolling, but you did it with Mesmerus!
