I’ve been trying to breed a traited Somnig dragon since it was released. With the number of fails with the Snooz/Fae combo it probably won’t happen☹️
I am with you. Still no Somnig in my ladyj park, let alone traited. In my other 2 parks, got one each with co-op breeding, (no twins though), and no traited either. Breeding up to 15,000E each day. 😢… One more day 🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🙏🙏🙏
I just got Somnig's timer in an RBC (6.5 hrs) but it wasn't Somnig... to add insult to injury, it was my second Fae clone of the week after ages trying to breed it with its combo 😭

I just realized how many possible 1D 2H fails there are (fae, sprite and chitin)... that's unfortunate.
Don't feel too bad, as after I got my twin, I have been trying to double parent clone for a pedestal, but it seems that the koalas have migrated for now. And let me say, I really don't want to buy the pedestal.
If you don't get a somnig by tomorrow, I can keep mine in the co-op for you.

That's kind of you. But the reason why I try to clone them in my small parks is so that I don't have to ask others to put it up for me, so that I can do it when I get a chance and don't have to bother someone. But thanks
………ant yet in spite of seeing everyone getting twins left and right, and speed breeding and using the EXACT combo in the EBI and high levels in the rift up to 15k etherium per attempt per day and trying different combos in co op using max levels and elders, my main park has not even ONCE seen the correct breeding time. This is becoming rage inducing.
comment dit-on " je suis dégoûtée" en anglais? I am disgusted.
Same here ! I thought Somnig would be quite easy, but I couldn’t breed one by myself, although I stopless tried. Just finaly got one in co-op (thanks, people that offered it to breed !) So my list of missing rifted dragons is growing now.
Somnig will be drifting off to sleep and dreaming away in 12 hours…
Only a short time left to breed Somnig with the ridiculously difficult breeding combo and far too low breeding percentage.
Somnig will be departing with its pedestal at the next daily reset.

Well, I was finally able to breed a Somnig dragon, proudly entered my new dragon in a Colosseum Water Event, and then watched with horror as Somnig nearly drowned from falling asleep in deep water. Be careful with this one.
Well I think I now know where my koalas migrated to... Both of these twins were received within the last six hours or so, as that's when I last checked my park.

I'll be sure not to use Somnig in the Water event, I wouldn't like him to drown. I usually use Yarr, but he doesn't look that comfortable either up to his chest in water. 😊
'I believe spring has been restored!' triumphantly exclaimed Blumi. Lumi and Zumi were beaming; they could finally return home. 'But before you leave, Lumi and Zumi, you must meet my beloved companion, BUMI. Bumi only arrives when the cold has melted.' From behind Blumi, little Bumi popped up. Zumi could not believe her eyes. Bumi looked just like her, except warmer, greener, and more allergic. Bumi was equally astonished, Zumi looked just like her, but cooler, bluer, and less pollinated. 'Blumi, Bumi looks like Zumi!' said Lumi. 'Bumi is the counterpart of Zumi', replied Blumi. 'They will only see each other for a short time when the season changes.'
Bumi is in the co-op with a gigantic ball of pollen and Benadryl. Koalakleenex to all!
Breeding hint: PIXIE + FLOWERHOP
Incubation time: 19 hours
Status: Limited tier, 7 days
Habitat: Seasonal
Contributing elements: air, light, earth
Breeding percentages: breeding hint 3.75%; co-op clone 1%
Cloning dragons:
Elders • air, earth, light
Hybrids • Sandstorm, Wind, Sand
(Cheers to MinyaZ for the cloning dragons!)
Bumi is The Spoiler Contest dragon! You probably guessed what she looks like, but nobody anticipated her breeding combo! Bumi still has her surprises.

I gave in and bought Somnig a couple of days ago. About 3 hours before it went away, I sped through some clone pairings and got a twin. YAY. I hope to get a rift in the runic caves. I went through 20k breeds in the rift some days and never experienced Somnig joy.

Still not enjoying these breeding combos.
Also, I wonder if it'll be counted for 'flies' or 'floats' in the contest... guess we will have to find out.

Today, the DragonVale Community Forum celebrates 11 years! On 6 April 2012, Poppy and Fletch launched the Forum. A lot has happened since then. Many administrators and moderators have carried the Forum and lovingly kept it running. But none of it would have been possible without all of you, the greatest DV players and members the world has known! It is your participation and enthusiasm that gives this place life and purpose.
We also had great losses over the years, most recently with the passing of Fletch. Our members may not have met Fletch in person, but he was a friend through DV and the Forum. After he passed away, his wonderful wife, Lesley, messaged me. She said on the morning of their 34th wedding anniversary, Fletch collapsed and they could not revive him. The devastation and loss for Lesley and her family is immeasurable.
I reached out to Deca Games and asked if they could memorise Fletch / Shane in the game he loved, by adding the names Shane and Lesley to DragonVale. Because while members miss Shane’s presence on the Forum, it is Lesley and her family who lost the person they love and cherish. When remembering Shane, it is equally as important to remember and support Lesley. She is an incredible person with an enormous heart. She was the one who introduced Shane to DV. She is the beginning of it all.
When Shane passed, Lovely Doubly was about to start, so it would’ve been difficult for Deca to change any content that was already set or released. Since the Forum’s anniversary was approaching in a couple months, I asked if they could add Shane and Lesley to the game during the spring event. Deca not only did this by including their names in the description of a new dragon, but they selected the dragon that will be released on the Forum’s anniversary!
May we always remember the wizard Shane and the witch Lesley. They were the first to enter the Vale!
To Lesley and the Fletcher family, the DV players and Forum members are thinking of you and wishing you all the best. When difficult times arise, I hope you can open DragonVale and this will be a reminder that we support you and send all our strength and love. If there’s anything we can do to make something a little easier, please let us know.
To Deca Games and the DV Team, monumental thanks for caring so deeply about your players. It’s such a pleasure and a joy to be part of the DV community. Thank you for reaching out to us through the game by adding the names of Shane and Lesley. It is a remarkable gesture of kindness and love, and it brings light to a darkened day.

Oh my goodness, this is awesome. When I read Bumi's description I knew the names would be referenced to something, but it didn't occur to me that it would be Fletch.

That's AMAZING!!!! I never met Fletch, but I have benefited from his website and all that he did here. I am so sorry for him not being with us anymore. I wish he could see this, his name in the game he loved! Maybe he knows.
And I want to say Happy Anniversary to everyone on the board!

This is so incredible! It’s such a perfect tribute to Shane and Lesley. I’m so glad Lesley was included. Hopefully it will help her during this loss. My thoughts are with her and her family.

Yes, I love that both their names are in the game. They are together again in the Vale, forever.
