Today, the DragonVale Community Forum celebrates 11 years! On 6 April 2012, Poppy and Fletch launched the Forum. A lot has happened since then. Many administrators and moderators have carried the Forum and lovingly kept it running. But none of it would have been possible without all of you, the greatest DV players and members the world has known! It is your participation and enthusiasm that gives this place life and purpose.
We also had great losses over the years, most recently with the passing of Fletch. Our members may not have met Fletch in person, but he was a friend through DV and the Forum. After he passed away, his wonderful wife, Lesley, messaged me. She said on the morning of their 34th wedding anniversary, Fletch collapsed and they could not revive him. The devastation and loss for Lesley and her family is immeasurable.
I reached out to Deca Games and asked if they could memorise Fletch / Shane in the game he loved, by adding the names Shane and Lesley to DragonVale. Because while members miss Shane’s presence on the Forum, it is Lesley and her family who lost the person they love and cherish. When remembering Shane, it is equally as important to remember and support Lesley. She is an incredible person with an enormous heart. She was the one who introduced Shane to DV. She is the beginning of it all.
When Shane passed, Lovely Doubly was about to start, so it would’ve been difficult for Deca to change any content that was already set or released. Since the Forum’s anniversary was approaching in a couple months, I asked if they could add Shane and Lesley to the game during the spring event. Deca not only did this by including their names in the description of a new dragon, but they selected the dragon that will be released on the Forum’s anniversary!
May we always remember the wizard Shane and the witch Lesley. They were the first to enter the Vale!
To Lesley and the Fletcher family, the DV players and Forum members are thinking of you and wishing you all the best. When difficult times arise, I hope you can open DragonVale and this will be a reminder that we support you and send all our strength and love. If there’s anything we can do to make something a little easier, please let us know.

I am beyond humbled that adlerist and all the team at Deca have been so very thoughtful and kind at this time. I am beyond heartbroken to have lost my Wizard. I just wanted to pop in and say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Shane would have been so chuffed to have received a dragon to remember him by. I haven't played DV for awhile, though my park is still on my phone. I can't quite bring myself to be back in the park at the moment, but I'm hoping that one day I'll be able to grow my own Bumi.

Sakura and Sumi are 2 of my favorite dragons. Both are beautiful and unusual. I can’t wait to see the new dragon created from these unique parents! Talons crossed that this is the next pairing.

Question: have we had 4 RBC’s gifted to us? If we did then I used the gift runestone on the tutorial RBC by accident because I only have 3 claims! Do I have any recourse? Thx!

So far, we've had the permanent cave, double day cave, tutorial Runestone and daily gift Runestone, so up to four free caves. If you've only had three then you did use the gift Runestone to re-activate the tutorial cave.
If you're 100% sure you didn't already use a claim then I'd reach out to support. I don't know for sure whether they'd give you another claim, but DECA's support team are really helpful, so if you explain that it was an accident/you didn't know to activate an entirely new cave to get an extra claim (whichever case it is for you) they might give you a fourth claim if they can see in your game's history that you haven't already made a claim. No promises, but it's worth a shot (unless anyone here knows for certain they definitely won't give you another claim).

The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.
I finally managed to clone Blue Moon in an RBC (I'm sick of Storm dragons and 1 hour 15 minute timers now) so now I can claim twin and twin-traited versions since it might be required in the next event! 😁💙🌙
(Now all I need to do is make sure I have enough EC left over for the weather station...)

I have tested in the first of my small parks and also got the bug. It seems similar to the early end of event from Lovely Doubly. Looks like the game thinks the event is over, so has given you random eggs from the RBC claims.
Since, when the early end bug occured, not logging in until the bug was fixed meant that the EC was not lost, I would suggest not logging in until DECA gives an update on the situation. Also, if you do log in, don't claim the eggs. This will make it easier for DECA to fix the issue.

As long as you don't collect those eggs hopefully DECA will be able to fix it automatically. They may be able to fix it even if you already claimed them, but like with the early end last event it'll be easier if you don't claim the gift.

I also lost all my breeds in the runic caves. I didn’t check my social menu, but I did check the tutorial cave and it still has a claim left. Dargon must’ve left a parting joke.
